I did grab the jewellery - it looks as if a dForm or MeshGrabber/Geometry Sculptor should make short work of the floating (and some adjustment would be needed for many pieces of clothing anyway)

While I understand that some tinkering might be necessary with specific models or outfits, when a promo shows issue out of the box (especially the one that goes around the neck, so no excuses there), it's kind of disheartening. At the lest, I'd expect the product to work with the rest of the outfit it was designed as a part of, and it doesn't.

I guess with stackers it's cheap enough and it discounts the horse items, but I decided not to get it, even as a buy-in. If Daz wants my money, they can do better. And there's going to be another sale tomorrow.

Yes! I was considering https://www.daz3d.com/cider-brewery-character-bundle but then the bad tiling on the outfit was pointed out, and I decided I didn't want to deal with problems in a brand new outfit. How did that get past QA?

Some great stacking deals right now with the catch-up doorbusters. With a regular doorbuster, 5 outlet items & 6 tokens, a lot of the catchup doorbusters will go to 94% off.

Premier Character Bundle selection is now down to 3 items; just Kayla and the 2 from yesterday. I don't see a reason why Daz wants to make paying for Premier look as unappealing as possible, but I can't see another reason why they so regularly do stuff to make the experience worse for the customers paying for their highest membership tier. Especially now, when they are literally trying to entice new people to sign up in this last weekend of the membership festival......only for those new members to find out they have 2 codes to use but only have a choice out of 3 things

...so I no longer see links to the Gallery and to Readmes on product pages..  Did Daz remove them as they were there about a week or so ago?.  The link to the Gallery was particularly useful to see different ways un how an item was used.

They are both from Daz Deals, not from Daz.

https://www.daz3d.com/shop/2025-membership-festival is sending me to an OOPs page. Is this new?

The link is wrong, the “shop/” shouldn’t be there.

I wasn't happy with 7 choices where I liked, at best, just one item, so I really don't like a choice of 3 where I passed on 2 and only want the hair from the third.

Many people felt the message from the October 2024 sale* was "Daz3d doesn't, ah, umm, care about Daz+ members, old or new."  I hope this years message isn't "Daz3d doesn't care about old or new Premier members, either."

*when Premier was announced shortly after a very discounted Daz+ membership sale & Premier conversion terms were...very bad deals for many.

There is a nice overlap between the doorbusters and Artists, look for items with 77% discount.

With Premier and tokens you can get them for $1.88 as long as you have a normal doorbuster as well.

there must be specific product that come to $1.88. I'm getting around 91% off, which is great, but nothing as low as $1.88

Today I'm glad I got all those slackers... sorry, stackers, even though I probably never will download or use them.

Having them allowed me to get a couple items off my wishlist for $ 2.99 each. wink

Sorry, I wasn't trying to browbeat you inbto changing your mind or even make you feel you had to defend your decision, just adding a differing viewpoint on the product. We all have blockers of one kind or another - there are several popular product lines that I don't buy because of one little niggle that just happens to get my goat.

Just to say it, because someone surely needs to hear it: Once you've assembled a satisfying cart, then go ahead and check out, or else you'll have no one but yourself to blame if Daz "alters the deal" later today and your cart jumps in price.

These might be the best discounts of the year.

...yeah, also cashed in my remaining 5 tokens and scored well,. Picked up two Stonemason sets for less than two bucks fifty each and another for 9 USD. All those Stackers finally counted for something.

Not bad for being on "Basic" status.

    ..thanks

    Bugger.

What I find interesting I only have the free extension but still was getting all the options even though I never subscribed to the Pro version.  The free version is still supposed offer the Gallery and forum links alomg with price history on product pages, but apparently the Firefox version no longer does.

On Google all the features and links still appear but I moved to Firefox as Google had ceased supporting the OS I use and over the last several months, has become increasingly unstable at times dropping the connection to the net which requires a full system reboot to restore.

I did check the Firefox extension and it is running.  I removed and reinstalled it but still nothing works. 5$ a month for the Pro version may not seem like much, unless you are on a tight budget and hoping a "surprise" bill or other charge doesn't result in an overdraft notice and fees..

Don't forget that you can get 10% (base) or 19% (Daz+) off a gift card with no buy-in, or up to 23.5% off with a Doorbuster from the massive extended list to make those ridiculous prices a bit more ridiculous. Ludicrous, even. :P

The price floor was turned off earlier, I was getting many newer Stonemason items for under $2. Still very good prices now though, I just made another cart to get some items I missed earlier and Abyss and Futura are still 95% off in my cart at $2.10 each with only 4 tokens.

Today has worked out really well for me! It all came together: Premier, Stackers, tokens, DAZ Coupon, and of course the sale terms. Finally got many of the items on my wishlist that were part of the sale after staring at them for months. I had been hoping they would eventually be part of a sale, and today is the day. I remember that in a past sale I left the cart only to find all the prices had reverted to list price. I didn't let that happen today.

  • This is the one I've been waiting for. My wishlist was largely made up of items from those 2025 catchup doorbusters.

    (Thanks for these tips smiley)

Also works with a $6 off $18 coupon... Even on 5 (infamous) horse-related items now for MUCH LESS than $2.99 eachcheeky
Indeed, with a coupon chucked in, less than the $15 INCLUDING 6 other "free" items!
    (thanks Daz yes)

Yeah, today was a good day. So much to download and install now. No one told me VDBs were so big! Anyway, I cleared out all my *ASAP* items and *Tier2* items from my wishlist. I still have 650 "that would be nice" items in my wishlist for the Holiday Sale. Sometimes I dont know if I am a creator or collector. Hopefully I can resist the urge to buy anything else for a while and just write and render.

I briefly debated waiting until later in the day to check out in order to get an extra day on the tokens... and then went "nope, my luck everything will double" and didn't tempt fate.

I'd probably already tempted it enough by letting it sit for an hour and a half while I took my youngest for a walk and I decided if I actually wanted everything that was in it. Several things wound up getting kicked out because although the price was objectively great, and the asset was lovely, I didn't have any practical application for it, or it seemed like a useful resource but I already have several similar that I have yet to use. Good deal + useful = no regrets, and that's the magic combo I'm after. :)

(One exception: Stonemason's Village by the Sea, which I've been pining after since it came out even though I'm not sure what I'd do with it. I'm considering it a small price to pay for no longer pining. Maybe I'll send a couple characters on vacation or something.)

Likewise. Made even sweeter by being able to get 24% off on a gift card and then use it to do the purchase.

I tried Mesh Grabber on the jewerly and no matter where I touched my cursor to the necklaces, the spine was selected. I had tried to use the Hidden JCMs before that, but even then, the back of the chain was still embedded into the right shoulder a bit and floating in the front. Both necklaces gave me issues. I wasn't able to move it effectively with the Actor>Adjustments nor the Hidden>JCMs nor General nor Mesh Grabber. I even tried to give it dForce and simmulate it and it exploded due to the embedded chain.

The rings, earrings, and bracelets load okay. But this is frustrating I bought it because of the necklaces. And I trusted my experience with fjaa3d's prior products.

If anyone has experience simulating necklaces that were NOT previously designed to be simulated, I would love to know how you did it.

If there is a PA looking for a script idea, this is one I think we could use.
