I honestly never even seen that code untill markusmatern posted.

My browser is doing the dumb thing where it won't update to the new version of the advertisement. Conve iently tha KS to the helpfulness of others posting the information, I got myself a nice gift card which should hold me by for now.

The code 25-DOWN works on Gift-Cards without a buy in needed!

Thanks, I would have overlooked that!

    Where is this?

I believe I was struck by the HTTP proxy cache issue. I didn't see this until around 6 PM Eastern.

Predicting the sale carries on at least until to orrow, as the ceramic critters stacker hasn't shown back up yet...

...but...but - there is still the "Member Festival Incense Oil Addon" to go, shown on the "Member Festival Incense Oil" page yesterday, while it was around.

    ETA: Oops, didn't look first.

I don't think it's claiming that it's the final 24 hours of the festival anyway. It's specifically worded as the final 24 hours of the catch-up weekend (same as it did last weekend). But obviously, they've presented it to make people think the festival might be ending (FOMO is their one marketing strategy). And whenever it does say final 24 hours of the festival, I won't be too surprised when they extend it for another 2 or 3 days after that

The 25-DOWN said One day only, YESTERDAY. Today,a new 25-DOWN offer appears. I tried to use it, it says "Coupon not valid" please either give us a new code or fix the code avalable. Thank you

well, "specifically worded" doesn't mean much around here..

Today's Special, I think, rather than One day Only - as with the coupons for an extra free bundle for premier or discount for Daz+, which are also under Today's Specials despite being the same, one use, codes for the whole run (to date, at least).

I didn't use the coupon yesterday, and I can use it today. That's what I'm seeing.

But in that example, you are comparing it to the one exception that has been there since the beginning (and is also visually distinct from the rest of the "Today's Special" section with different formatting in its own special box). Every other thing that has appeared in "Today's Specials" has cycled on a daily basis. So it's fair for customers to assume that would be true for something presented in the exact same way. No customer walking into a store and seeing something advertised as "Today's Special" would think that the special would be available on other days (unless that was stated clearly somewhere on the promotion).

And it isnt helped by this second day repeat happening on the exact day that the store page wasn't updated properly and multiple things from the previous day didn't change (like the Doorbusters and Still New).

.....intersting, all of today;s Stackers also appear in the "Still New" category

...another week, another QG delay. You'd think after this long they could sort out whatever coding error is causing the problem.

LOL waiting for those ceramic critters to pop up is like a game of Duck, Duck, Grey Duck...

Yeah. The only really cool ones IMO were the balloons and the Holy Grail...uh, I mean that adorable critter. I haven't picked up any of those stackers since sometime last week. Partly it's boredom, but mainly it's that the few times I've carted the freebie and a Debut/Still/Doorbuster, the increased discount is...underwhelming.

I was quite fond of the marbles, leaf trinket tray, and moon shelf as well.

Have to agree, especially the marbles and leaf tray.

I also really like the black marble texture that turned up on the knot sculpture (and some other things, too?) It's beautiful.

I have to admit that the Festival Bundles are well picked. They match quite well what I wanted.

I have yet to find one that contains items I still need...

I buy very few daz+ items through the year for that reason. The most items I have owned this time from a bundle is 4. I have bought every single aniversary bundle. Works great when they give out one of those random discount codes and getting the anniversary bundle with the code is like applying the code to every individual item from the bundle.

Daz+ and Premier members, don't be like me, and don't forget your weekly freebie. (Not that it's all that exciting...)

I really don't want any more black rooms with garish strip lighting. That's what we get over and over and over...week after week after week.

I know what you mean. At least shaders, robots, and plants provided some variety. These all feel the same. Not that generic corridors/stairways feel better. I know Daz is trying to make freebies useful for all members (so no things like G9 products), but they feel so generic and repetitive. We used to get more elaborate corridors/spaces like Sci-Fi Hole or even Sci-Fi Star Bridge (black, but at least with various interesting elements to play with that you could retexture easily).

...for the set of "all members" that equals people doing sci-fi settings, anyway. Or hot tubs. Or sci-fi hot tubs.

I don't expect the offerings to be 100% to my taste. The fun should be spread around. But right now it seems about as well spread as a four-year-old trying to make a sandwich with stick butter fresh from the fridge.

Constantly monochromatic, mostly monolithic - and monotonous. I don't need any more tunnels  from nowhere to nowhere else or brooding sun-baked deeply shadowed concrete art forms trying to pass as buildings. I've passed on the last dozen or so.

...I actually like and find the the brutalist architecture settings useful.

I do agree about the plethora of Sci-Fi corridors, particularly as I have several modular Sci-Fi sets by Stonemason.

  • NathNath Posts: 2,940

Yeah, the brutalist stuff is actually nice for me.

Atm, the Better than DAZ item (candle trees - lovely!) is at its regular price in my cart, should be 1.99 for DAZ+ member.
