  • Horo - beautiful and colourful abstract. Reminds me of Syd Mead's sci-fi art for some reason.

Nullcasting - lovely magical scene here! Surely was worth the wait.

    mermaid010 - beautiful frozen landscape.

Hansmar - interesting mushroom you brought to us here.

Bunyip02 - sorry for your loss! They are alive in our hearts. And looking forward your 3D... I think, hobbies like this always help us.

Speculativism - what a wonderful tribute!

    Teobaldo - nice space scene.

Nullcasting - Awesome waterfall, hope your next render goes quicker !

Horo - A big torus and two smaller ones looks amazing - love how it draws you into the centre !

Past as Future - Thanks ! Got some warm days coming up so will be watching some tutes & reading on the laptop instead of working on the graphics computer.

    Thank you Bunyip02.

The base-building was made in Wings3D and given my own materials and within a radial is included. They are with the camera within a sphere with some transparency at refraction below 1 and some reflection. Sky and ambient light by the unpublished Gasclouds_A3_SC HDRI. An uncommon city with eight-wings towers.

Wow Horo, I'm always amazed by your different ideas, this render is fantastic. Some architect is going to steal this idea.wink

Another view of the Luxoffice (ShareCG) which I posted a few months ago.

Nullcasting, the waterfall is beautiful.  I like the colors.

Horo, gorgeous abstract.  Love the effect.  The building image has a very modern feel to it.

What a lovely room, mermaid.  I think you did a great job with the lighting.

A plant (Bryce tree) from Vegetation and 15 instances. They stand on a grass-terrain by David Brinnen. The high grass in the foreground is a Bryce tree after an idea by SlepAlex. Background and ambient light by the NarrowPass HDRI (unpublished) and the key light by the sun. Part of a forest glade.

Horo, the grass is fabulous.  I've tried some of the grass materials but can't get the same results.  Is this physical grass?

NGartplay - thank you. The grass is just a Bryce tree with a coniferous foliage and with completely transparent trunk and branches.

    Thank you mermaid and ed3D.

The terrain is from Grand Mountains with a material from High Resolution Terrains 2 combined with one from Terrain Stacking. The clouds are from the CloudSphere9 from the Sky Toolbox and the ambient light by the Gasclouds_B10_SC HDRI (unpublished). The key light by the sun.

    Wow magnificent rocky scene Horo.

  • I've been away for a while editing a novel, but now I'm getting back into this hobby.

As always, my colleagues went crazy creating renders; there are too many to comment on individually, but I commend their variety and creativity (from photorealistic landscapes to abstract ones).

Bunyip02: My condolences on the death of your beloved four-legged companion. Pets are such wonderful companions.

Now I'm adding a couple of images I made recently:

    Post-apocalyptic submarine

On the muddy plains of an ancient ocean lie the decaying remains of a once-mighty war machine, now nothing more than a memory of that bygone era.

Submarine courtesy of max- from free objects by Renderosity; the rest are terrains and textures that came with Bryce.

    Digital Dimension

A unique form of "life" roams the landscapes of a strange digital world... is it a virus or a maintenance program?

The Simplon Hdri was used as a height map for the terrain, (following a method Horo describes in the Stylized Rendering) lit by an Hdri from Golden Lighting. The terrain material is from the preset -modified.

Horo, wonderful landscape.  I don't normally like the layered textures but they look real here.

Teobaldo, really like your submarine render.  The sky is so pretty.  The virus in the matrix is cool.

mermaid, beautiful sky. Great mat on your terrain.
