Yes, dForce Avabella Shy Soft Curls For Genesis 9 | Daz 3D I like dforce hair actually. It reacts better in poses, but I'm having some problems with explosions, not on this one, I haven't tried it yet, but a lot of others. I still can;t figure out how to avoid collisions with things in the scene.
You got a bargain. The base price more than doubled today.
Intended or not, little promo confusion like that will drive some urgency to spend.
I've been happily purchasing large volumes of assets the last few days at great discounts when also including all the tokens I am accruing (I have yearly Daz+ membership). On Saturday, for instance, I bought PW Mega SuperYacht for $17, instead of the $59.99 RRP (ie 72% off). Today, however, I put the XI Fairy Tale Bundle into my cart but it shows just 37% off. I'm not even sure why it shows 37% either, when it was 30%. Even if I add 8 tokens, the percentage increases to just 56% off!
I've sent a support ticket to Daz, but of course they won't answer quickly enough for me to make a purchase. Any ideas what is going wrong and if there is anything I can do to fix it? I assume not and that for some unknown reason I don't have the gold star discount for the first time (and there is no way of checking, most irritatingly).
Having just this moment posted the above comment, I went back into my cart and removed the tokens, only to see that the 50% is now being applied! I'd just spent 30 minutes taking things out and putting them back in too. WTF! Has my complaint to Daz already been answered behind the scene? Was it just a weird glitch? Do I care? I am very confused right now and slightly worried that the magical appearance of the correct discount may just as quickly disappear!
The gremlins causing the problems have been dealt with. However, they pop up quite often as at least one person at the office isn't following the rules.
registration, instead of sending tickets, I'd recommend checking sales reporting thread first. Usually, you can see if people are having the same problem, if there are any solutions yet (like someone spotting a typo in the coupon code etc.), and if mods reported it or got any feedback from Daz.
Really would be nice if the sales just worked, seems like every day has required a correction partway through
Thanks for the very useful suggestion. I should bookmark that page. I see the gold star discount has been causing a lot of headaches! I don't have time to read through it all, since it's working for me again, so I don't know if it's an ongoing individual problem or was a problem for everyone today (since the last post states "Looks to me as if this is now fixed.").
It would be particularly helpful if the gold star system were more tangible too: ie if it were visible in our carts, so we'd know if we have one or not. I expect I'm not the first person to suggest that though!
It was an issue for everyone, fixed once Daz people were available to respond to our report.

Going by your post number, I'm guessing that you're relatively new to DAZ. :) Unfortunately, this sort of issue is all too typical of how the DAZ store operates, with many sales and offers being deployed erractically or not at all when the new sale goes active. As to why... sometimes it's the ads themselves that have an issue, like having an incorrect discount advertised, or having a requirement needed to get the discount accidentally ommitted, while other times the glitch is the result of the store input being input incorrectly or some items not included in the sale accidentally being listed. In fact, it's a rare occurance for a new daily ad to come up that doesn't have some issue and there have been quite a few occasions where some offers never end up exectuting properly. It's a pain, but on the other hand, it does often result in what we old-timers call a "glitch sale", where offers that aren't supposed to stack with each other end up doing so, resulting in truly spectacular bargains... bargains that DAZ has always honored for those who are lucky enough to snap them up.

I only began with Daz Studio when Genesis 9 came out and began purchasing on 1 January 2023, by the look of my invoices. I'm certainly new to Daz Studio, that said, because unfortunately I was diagnosed with tremor-dominant Parkinson's Disease about 6 years ago, which became increasingly debilitating and painful, to the point I've been unable to work and almost incapable of using my computer for the last 2 years at least.
That said, I had the first of 2 'awake' brain surgeries (yes, no sedation and excrucitatingly traumatic 5 hour surgeries with a medieval torture device clamped to my head) on my birthday in August of 2023, with a second following in June of 2024 (only the second time in 30 years of 100 DBS surgeries per annum they have had to perform a second on a different set of targets), which sent me fairly doolally until very recently, as well as making the tremor even worse and more painful until about a month ago. I really began spending on assets the day after the surgery while I was still in hospital and have now spent a total of $5,363 in the Daz Store, mostly at 80-90% discount through various offers, as well as maybe $500-$1,000 in other stores, so I have a pretty decent library by now! I have experienced some of confusing marketing of the Daz Store that you speak of though, although few glitches like today's.
I was a very accomplished traditional artist in my salad days, so I'm chomping at the bit to be able to begin creating again, I can tell you. Whether I'll ever have my tremor sufficiciently under control to draw or paint again I doubt, even though I also have a very nice 24" touch-screen Wacom tablet in addition to my custom PC with RTX 4090; however, having run a business for the last 20 years as a C# .NET web developer and SQL Server db programmer, I do intend to use my Daz assets exported to Unreal Engine (I hope) as part of a new Virtual Production film studio I am setting up, before I can no longer enjoy life or have departed this mortal coil!
I have 9 items in my cart that got me 8 tokens and a great discount. Just got an email from DAz at 7:01PM THat MY MEMBERSHIP HAS ENDED. LOST HALF THE NEW TOKENS AND ALL PREMIUM discounts. I suspect my product library is sufficiently well populated, as I really feel no disappointment that there may be an imminent end to MM.
What I do get the urge to do is to model some unavailable 'stuff' to fill in the gaps in sets and populate the range of 'clutter' found in a home but not in sets. {Though I'm occasionally left wondering if my house is alone in having huge amounts of clutter.} The sort of things I'm thinking of are embroidery stands, frames, hoops, skeins. 3D diamond sets, bead makings, brass bowls. Paper stamping, painting crayons, watercolour sets, books, more books. Thousands of books, cat toys, fire irons, candlesticks, occasional tables, sewing tables, stools. Storage boxes, loads of different crockery types all stacked up in a mixed heap. Cat baskets. Secateurs, welding gauntlets (standard kitchen window cill items for us) . Stuff & more stuff.

Despite the start to MM, I happily cleared a hefty wishlist, twice, this past week with discounts ranging from 78% to early 90s.
Feel it has been a good event, poor start, bugs and misunderstandings aside.
I remember in the olden days when March was really mad.
I think Platinum Club began in 2002 and I joined in January of 2010. My first use of DAZ Studio was in October 2007, but I stuck to Poser for a few years before moving to DAZ Studio 3 which I paid for along with Carrera.

Daz seems to have finally changed up the door busters more. I happened to find an item that's been in my WL but haven't seen discounted, so I grabbed that yesterday. Unimpressed, however, with the grab bag selection. Way smaller (50 items) than the doorbuster selection, albeit newer - but nothing I want. Hoping (1) for a bundle, new or old, I actually like to show up in the free Premier selection & (2) this sale doesn't get extended.
If I were creating a product to fit this MM, it would be Color Me Unimpressed Expressions for G3, 8, 8.1, & 9: Includes: unimpressed, half asleep, 3 bored, "I'm so done," etc.
The Grab Bag deal today is an odd one.
1. Its selection is really small
2. The items are actually cheap enough that using the Coupon code instead of tokens is losing you money.
I also noticed that some items are cheaper with the Gold Star discount than when I apply the Coupon code (I have DAZ+).
I removed the coupon code but that didn't help much because as soon as I added a new release the price went up again.
Could you not simply buy them without the code or new releases then?
I saw "final 24 hours" and couldn't help wondering whether March Madness ends today, but then I realized it's probably just the grab bags. I wouldn't be surprised if we got catch up over the weekend, and I'm hoping that afterward we won't get stuck in a week-long "surprise extension".
The only big purchases I made during this sale were four times I used my Daz+ coupons (2 for Feb and 2 for March), and even those all were under $20, so it's a bust considering I was expecting to go way over my budget this month. Except for cheaper new releases, this felt like a month of exactly usualy sales: "buy a new release to get an extra discount" which are usually not enticing enough to me to bite.
Oh well. I'll likely go from not spending much in MM to not spending much (if anything at all) in non-MM.
I also think it's just for the grab bags. As we know "Final" is a quite subjective term when it comes to the promotions. I wouldn't be surprised if we got a "Final FINAL, Super Serious" weekend catch up that still might include the grab bags. I give them kudos for stressing urgency with the sales, but the inconsistency actually works against it at times.
Hoping there's a good weekend sale. I hadn't bought anything in days and when I tossed something into a cart, I realized I no longer had a gold star discount. I bought an inexpensive thing just to have the gold star for the weekend.
