Here's a quick "no postwork" Iray render. Very limited tweaking. Just testing a new character and outfit. Has a bit of soft focus. Didn't spend much time with camera setup which was probably a poor choice.

    Attachment is full res (2000x2000)

Just when I start to think that I've gotten the hang of rendering car-related materials, something starts to mess up. Like in this one, I don't really like how the headlights and the backlights came out to be. Both renders took way too long to render for some reason on my old af machine (5 hours). And I don't know why it happened. I have rendered cars before, but they haven't taken this much time, until now. I've a Core i5(TM), 3rd Gen processor on a laptop. Entire lighting done with one HDRI.

    It's been a while since I posted so here's a Lilith render : ) I love her so much : )

Rendered in Daz Studio 4.9 with Iray, no post-work.

Also my first time trying out the new spectral rendering feature, not sure how much of a difference it actually made since it looked pretty much almost the same in the preview window.

And if anybody knows why her eyes are still kinda grainy even though the render was fully finished please let me know!

Her settings here are default out of the box.

...nice and easy on the poly load, wishlisted.  Much better than looking for royalty free photo panoramas for backdrops.

I still haven't given up my adolescent dream of being a film director, and the project I'm working on is a storyboard for a historical drama that I hope to make someday. Below is the latest set for said project. It still needs work, but I'm proud enough of it to share it with you all. :)

I got a pretty interesting result of a half baked render and decided to save it before it finished. I am curious to see how it will look once it is completed.

I posted it on deviantArt because of some minor nudity; just in case.

Great renders in this thread lately, by the way.

    ...

Finally broke down and got elebeast. My menagerie of (mostly Rawart) humanoid critters is almost complete!

A rather toonish depiction of the Hindu god Ganesh.

Wonder what Hindus will think of this. :)

I got inspired by the pants thread. (well I started fiddling around with pants and got carried away)

I'm quite proud of the hair; its made in Garibaldi and converted to a mesh object. I could've spent more time on the grass, but I have about 5 almost finished renders I'm sitting on, so I just wanted to have something actually done.

Trying lots of different things lately. Here's a tentacle-head geograft.

And another with the same graft, very different. Some artistic postwork (oil paint Photoshop filter, which I just LOVE)

    Warning, nudity. Also... weird.

...Will, you come up with some of the most unique creatures.  You are definitely the master of geogaft.

Aww, thanks. And I'm just getting started!

My dream is to do a khepri, from Perdido Street station. Red-skinned women (easy!) with ... giant scarab beetles for heads. ... yeeeah.

It'd require poseable legs, antennae, plus a carapace that can open and show wings (ideally).

I... yeah. I'm leaving that for down the road. ;)

Very nice Rafmer. I could elaborate on some aspects of it, but overall, it conveys well the erotic excitement. Great composition!

that is good hair, it looks natural, not like a conciously messy hair style

Both are good but I like the effect of the previous one. It was like a pasteled charcoal sketch or something...
