Quick render with the latest model... click to see 2x HD.
I am tempted to get that model just for the eyelashes as they were popular in the 60s & 70s for some caricatures of famous actresses I am trying to make.
Experimenting with Ultrascatter. Originally I was going to try this in 3DL, but by the time I made it good enough it was way slower than Iray, so hey.
I continue to debate between using Iray or 3DL for my webcomic. nngh
I revamped an earlier, really godawful ship I designed. In 3DL, I just... wasn't happy with the textures I used.
Here it is with Iray textures, and I'm a lot happier.
So, for the next hour at least, I'm leaning toward using Iray.
Looks great and I hear ya with the 3 day renders... Do you have a Mac with a 5K retina screen BTW? I've discovered that I can render smaller images and then take a screen shot instead of saving it and the size gets bumped up to more than double!
Trying out Iray mats on a hiver-turned-robot.
Genevieve! I love her! With Alfhild for Rune 7 skin by Freja which is one of my favorite textures. Top from Vanessa Marquise made to look like normal street wear in materials and skinny jeans.
Nice one Wonderland!
Thanks! I'm loving Genevieve!
...I agree. Definitely one of the best Iray character pics I've seen as the skin looks extremely good.
Still hoping for Skin Builder Pro3 as I cannot afford to purchase a whole bunch of different characters to get good G3 skins. Not sure what the status of it is though since Draagonstorm's unfortunate passing as the original SBP was a collaboration between her and Zev0.
Just gonna share this-even with the "Oops" on the trash bag shaders.
Another Xeno type machine intelligence, performing repairs with a human.
Just got these probes, been on my wishlist for a dog's age... given I wanted to expand the variety of mai in my webcomic... great opportunity.
Thanks.
I have a 2011 HP 8460P Elitebook that I have upgraded to 16GB RAM so I could render a scene like that, even if I have to have a bit of patience.
I'm working on 2 or 3 other renders and some simple LAMH and Rigging / Material Transfer things with DAZ Studio and then I will move on from rendering for a while, unless I buy the LineRender9000 product, to teach myself modeling in Blender much more than I know modeling now.
I'm one day 6 hours 9 minutes and 17 seconds into a second render. This one of the opening credits of "I Dream of Jeannie" for any of you that want to play along and try your hand at dialing in morphs to make good caricature likenesses of Jeannie & Major Nelson. We could exchange tips in this thread.
That's a beautiful render and she's much more interesting there than in the ad copy.
Thanks! But I also used a different skin, not the one that came with her... She actually can look very different depending what skin you use!
Thanks! If you get one skin, I would definitely recommend Alfhild for Rune by Freja, even if you don't have Rune, I think it's worth it!
Continuing to tinker with character models for my webcomic. This is my most recent revamp of Luy.
Will, the gal in your webcomic reminds me of Lost in Space for some reason...but probably just because I've been thinking of doing a render of them.
OK, "meanwhile" as they say on TV Show serials, "somewhere in the south Pacific..."
Loosely based on the opening cartoon credits of I Dream of Jeannie.
Oh, cute! Love it!
Had a break through on a shader I've been wrangling with for almost a year (off and on, admittedly)
This is just a sphere primitive with a procedural shader... going to come up with a bunch of extras for Displacement for my WTP thing.
I ALSO think this gives me some ideas for doing Normals (which have also been problematic).
Either way, this should make for really good fills for rock, soil, etc.
And another
Very excited. This also renders pretty darn fast.
thanks
Looks good for planet earth shader...as Major Nelson plummets from the sky in his space capsule. I'm not ready to try & aminate that yet though.
...sweet.
Paid a lot of time on her face
Working on a new set of displacement WTP shaders, the troll has been given a displacement shader.
Note, the troll has no image maps at all, all the detail comes from Perlin noise.
@nonesuch00: Excellent and the posing is priceless.
@Will: Great shaders, only getting better and better.
@butaixianran: Great looking face
@Wonderland: Great render and the composition of the image with Genevieve.
She has a nice anime look to her mixed with realism. I really like it.

I'm really liking the Myrtle character. This is a mix of Myrtle and a few others along with some tweaks.
I like the earlier anime face from butaixranian & Myrtle too. I am thinking of doing a Spito, Speed Race,Trixie, & Racer-X scene later...lol for anybody the ever heard of them.
