...that's really nice.
Did this over a few weeks ago...
...nice likeness, and Asteroid M to boot.
Wicked! Any postwork or straight render?
Glad people enjoyed this one - thank you. Rawn's Lekkulions and the Blind Demon are two of my favorite figures, so it was fun to work on. May take another stab at it, too.
This render was my second go around with this scene. I was trying to minimize the amount of grain in this one by rendering out 2 passes (with/without volumetrics), which allowed me to change the volume settings more freely. You can see the first render, which was a single pass, here:
http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/143836/extra-grainy-volumetrics-in-4-9-3-166
In both cases, I rendered out 32-bit canvases from Iray (as always) and HDR processing was done via script in post.

ETA: Both the volumetrics for the sabers and the environment (rays and glows) were done in DS and rendered using Iray.
Color correction and sharpening done in PS.
Lucidghost, good image but you need to fix your link. THe image is hosted on DA but clicking it takes one to their gallery management here on Daz
Thanks for the heads up, Mattymanx. I meant to link the gallery image not the management options--sorry
We all make mistakes Lucid.

This is my first horror render. I tried to give it an old-time horror movie feel so I made some color and graininess adjustments in post.
I have had a very long day and this render came about because of it!
