In a roundabout way, I AM a father, so I guess I'm good
. (And so was your pun
).
Has anyone tried turning Oshikai's Retro Skirt into a dForce item?
We're reaching the end of our forum thread. I'm going to try and get the new one up and running either tonight or tomorrow night. Star Trek Builders Unite 8 coming to a DAZ Forum near you. :P
Groan! (In a good way!)
Part 8! And I think that there were even earlier iterations of the thread that were lost when they changed forum software many years ago. Surprisingly I think that Trek has possibly produced the most consistent and long lived discussion on DAZ. Superheros may be right up there. Star Wars and Doctor Who are lagging way behind, especially Doctor Who over the past couple of years (which indicates perhaps, a general reduction in interest in the show in the Moffett era? Because it was booming back when Tennant was the Doctor). Anyway, it's good to see the old Trek thread keep churning along!
You have Plenty of time Another 60+ posts before it reaches the end
Heh. You say that but I remember last time we had very little activity and then filled it in a day. lol
We have ways of making sure that you have the top post, even if we split it when it turns over to page 101
Yes, but when that happens sometimes a link to the new topic doesn't make it to the last page of the old one...
hey grinch are you no longer on sharecg , becouse all i get from them is sorry cant find the page
?
When the topic goes over 100 pages and has to be split off to the new topic, sometimes the link to the new topic is not always posted on the old topic. Thus making it hard for some of us to find the new topic...
Hmmm. I just went and checked (without logging in) and I got to my shares. In case somethings wrong in your bookmark, here's the link:

I did recently suspend a few older items because I wasn't happy with them at this point (and in many cases better freebie versions by other people are out there now). Maybe your link was to one of them.
playing around with the new voyages clothing pack
Ashley..
I’ve made a lot of changes (either phased out, redone, or added) to my freebies over the last year which have never been updated to the master list. To save you an awful lot of effort to fix please go ahead and just remove the individual listings and just link to either my Renderosity or ShareCG freebies page and people can just go look there.
If you still rather have the individual list updated, I’ll try and get it for you, it’ll take time as I’m caregiver for my mom 7/24 and my time on computers isn’t what it used to be.

Russ,
It's not a problem. I can consolidate anything and everything you've got into a section for you with that link. I completely understand. Thank you for the heads up!
Did anyone from this group make it to ticonderoga this weekend?
Anyone know what the dress is that's used in the Cat Lyn promo shot, that looks <almost> like a TOS uniform dress?
Kinda cool to see the original Capt Kirk sitting in his old cabin.
Saw this, immediately thought of Frank Gorshin (Let That Be your Last Battlefield)

Well, that's racist - they only have the one that's white on the left side!
Such a classic line!
I'm guessing that x-scaling the character at -100% should solve that. Just tested - texture shaded viewport doesn't like it when you do that (character goes black), but it shows up fine in the Iray viewport - or failing that a Photoshop transform (flip) maybe (that'd be more complicated)... I was more concerned about the lack of a G8M version.
a little spock action
Kitbashed a uniform to make it close to the Discovery Era suits.

Because sometimes I'm just silly, I started playing around with these shapes (no connection to the centrifuge). I call it "U.S.S. Pizzicato" (there's a pun in there ...

Had this ship been on the original show, NBC would never have dared to cancel for fear of pissing off the Scillian audience!
I will admit I like the Disco designs. They're different Been trying to find a mix between Kelvin, Disco and TOS to make a design for my story.
The Disco bridge seems a bit dark (even for Disco) but I love what your'e doing with it!
