There's a fellow named kenny Mitchell (aka Axeman3D) who has modeled a fair number of Trek related meshes in Lightwave, including the torpedo casing seen in "The Wrath of Khan". He used to have a site labeled www.kennyscrap.com , but when I tried to access it, it sent me to an Asian "holding" site. (His domain may have expired.) However, he has contributed meshes to Foundation3D and he has a deviant Art page. You may be able to find the model at one or the other of those places. At the very least, you should be able to reach him and ask about the model.

As for the torpedo bay, that's an interesting case. I've been watching a thread at the TrekBBS started by one Donny Versiga (username: Donny). He's been modeling "game engine friendly" versions of TOS and TWoK era Enterprise interiors. I know, neither Poser nor DAZ studio can "read" game engine models. That's not really the point. Donny has researched the elements to the "nth" degree to create some mind blowingly accurate "sets". What surprised me was just how much of the Klingon K'Tinga bridge was actually reused. I knew they used the "shock absorbers", but the production, in summary, just removed the chairs and the helm console, the instruments lining the back wall (and placed within the "chamber of death"), made a "trench" for the torpedo and repainted the walls to better match the rest of the Enterprise interiors. Shoot, they simply cut a hole in the Klingon main viewer and mounted the torpedo hatch there!

Basically, one could similarly redress a Klingon bridge mesh. the trickiest part would be mucking about with the florr plate polys to make the "trench". There's a LightWave based K'Tinga bridge at Foundation3D (I think) and Madison Bruffy has a "near enough" Poser ready version. Either of those could be modified, in theory anyway.

    Sincerely,

    Bill

I was just watching Wrath of Khan and was thinking the torpedo bay would be a kool render. The part where they are pulling up the grates. Could be good for Spock and McCoy doing surgery on a torpedo in Undiscovered Country as well.

but i have to say watching 3 and then 4, i was like um wait, that Klingon bridge in 4 looks nothing like the Klingon bridge of the ship they stole in 3

So odd you say that, I just re-watched 3 last night and thought "man, the klingon bridge was so different than it ended up being in 4. I can't even make head-canon that the Vulcans changed it because it would be a total refit and with old rusted green metal" lol. I quite liked the original bridge but 3 was where they really started making the Klingons as we know them now, and by 4 they had a much more solidified vision for them.

    Still, I liked 3's personally ;)

here is my hypothesis, the Klingon ship is basically nothing but holodecks, rather than do any actual cleaning they just project a hologram of a clean shiny ship, some time between 3 and 4 the holo emitters went out :D

This is the very beginning of a work in progress to make a new constitution class as we might have seen had it been re-made in the 24th century. The connie was never seen on TNG, and I've always wondered what it would look like re-done in 24th century tech.

Please remember I am a rank amateur at modeling. I would love suggestions and feedback. At this stage, much will change, particularly the underside of the saucer and the neck which I am not really happy with yet. No details or textures have been added yet.

Click here for several views: http://i.imgur.com/OPG7mmd.jpg

If anyone is interested after it is finished, I'd be happy to post it as a freebie. There's a long ways to go yet, tho.

No one had the weekend off ... 'k ... not an intentional miss ... I rearranged a lot and fixed up many broken links LAST [back in 6] thread. I will check all these now and see what's happened there. Please don't feel you have to wait quite so long if there be any others discovered over the course of the future ;-)

    Updating:

These 2 were already on the list, post one:

    By Bluto:

    Cardassian Vest M4
    Security Guard Suit

This one was already in post 2:
Space People Morphs [Andorian, Vulcan/Romulan, Klingon, etc.] by bluto

The Klingon Transporter was also already on the list with some others in the very first post:

    By Bluto:

    Klingon Transporter
    Vulcan House and grounds
    Weather Tracking Unit
    Klingon High Council Chamber Exterior

These 2 were also already on the list, very first post under Props:

ridgy headed alien party supplies aka Klingon Drinking Vessels by Bluto
    Romulan Disruptors [phasers] by bluto

Also in the very first post were the occupation weapons:
    Bajoran Weapons by bluto

The Dagger & shieth were also in the very first post under the different spelling of "Dagger and Sheath" by bluto

And again were these also in the first post:
    Klingon ‘handguns’ by bluto
    Klingon Swag by bluto

    .......................

There do indeed appear to be a couple of missing links and those I will add these. Thank you for bringing them to our attention.

    ................

Done. The couple missing were added.

@ everybody, all items made by any one person are not all listed in one place. The items are arranged a little bit by items, then by names if a majority are made by one person. This was done to 1. give credits to people where none may have been before and 2. the grouping was to save some character spaces as these typing boxes really do have a limit. If everybody gets busy and makes a whole bunch more stuff, we'll have to split another post like was done for the STO. Weather has been rather odd around here ... too hot to run computers to almost seeking out the winter coats again ... so if you don't see me posting it could be that the temps are too high to run the computers OR the skies so interesting I'm out shooting photos. Did you know space ships can change shapes? It's an interesting world we live in.

The TOS Bridge I'm working on ran into a little scaling situation ... apparently the floor and walls [on the same page mind you] were not exactly geared for the little people in Daz Studio ... so the walls are being redone to a better scale and we'll see what happens next.
There are some "new" TOS chairs WIP too ... and hopefully the weather stays on the cooler side of summer so they can get finished.

I think it looks pretty good. nothing says it has to be perfectly symmetrical from center to the ends. I think you have done a knockout job on this set! Bravo!

I think the curve on this arc is better even if the top surface doesn't show as well.

I like the lines on this one. It looks like the Constitution but it also looks like a TNG era ship. Great blend of the design ideas. Any idea what size you're going for with her?

Yes ... I think this is the only bodysuit that has textures done for it for V4, so most if not all should work with it.

Hey, if nobody has thought of it, here's a non-canon starship design challenge for anyone up to it...the Millenium Falcon/ST: TMP hybrid model from the 1980's era comedy Zapped! starring Scott Baio (which I suspect is where Doug Drexler got his idea for the design of the Enterprise NX-01 we all know).

Here's a clip with the model I'm referring to:
