Does that just delete a comment or an entire thread?
At your end, the entire "conversation" ... on the other end it strikes out your name notifying the other party that you are "removed from the conversation" unless they decide to contact you again. If they also delete the conversation, then it would be gone from both accounts but AFAIK but given the number of previously deleted messages that showed up in my inbox I'd say that the system keeps everything somewhere forever.
So that still doesn't help if you start to post a comment and then change your mind after clicking on the comment box. There's still no way to back out or close the window?
Oh no, this is a different deletion problem we were all having with the PM/Messages/hundreds of them ... in our mailboxes.
This silly edit box follows one around the forum, even clearing the cache, signing out, clearing the cache, signing in ... nothing, it haunts.
However when one wants to post somewhere, one can then delete the information and type whatever they want to.
I have never been a fan of these types of coding boxes.
edit: Option to delete conversations is now in visible ink :-)
Update for tonight. Didn't get as much done as I wanted. Had some very strong thunderstorms roll through. When that happens, I shut things down till it's over. But I did get the last of the bulkheads in place.
Okay, in and around all the hard storms, I managed to get the doors and viewports done.
Interestingly enough, Boeing may have a patent on the precursor to the Javelin:

Any one know how to move an object's origin from the middle to the side? I knew at one time, but I can't remember. I'm building a cabnet for this crew quarters set and I want the doors on it to swing correctly once they're parented.
With the Joint Editor Tool selected, go to the Tool Setting Tab and you can adjust the End & Center points of all the bones
In Poser 9 I have a Joint editor window. But I don't have a Tool setting tab. At least I'm not seeing it. I'm probably looking right past it.
And no fair changing your avatar- I didn't recognise you at first. :-)
That would be DAZ Studio rather than Poser
In Poser turn on show origins that should give you a set of dials and show you the center and end points select the center and drag it to where you want it then save as usual
I tried that.I had to click on both "Display Origins" and "Animate Origins" before the dials would show and the origins would move. I saved it, reloaded it into the scene and the origin is right back in the middle again.
I got it figured out. With the joint editor screen up, I have to click on and move the green and red crosses where I want them and then I can save it to my runtime. But If I export that obj, the origin goes right back to the middle again. I guess, when I release this crew quarters set, I'll have to include some notes on this.
Here's my shelf unit- with working doors. Thanks to everyone for trying to help.
Looks very nice!
Thank you, Patience. Here's tonight's update with the shelf unit in place. The food replicator, dining set and view screen are from my runtime. Now, I need to sit down and design the living area and the sleeping area.
Looks good
Must have been a change in Poser since last time I made something with doors Didn't have to click "Animate Origins" been a while
I think you missed a post, Robert:

Animate Origins isn't needed. That was one of my mistakes.
Probably missed one the forum has been flakey on notifications sometimes it'll skip a couple before notifying me
Tonight's update: The only thing in these pics that are not mine is the egg chair in the corner and the desk top monitor beside it. This will probably be the first Captain's Cabin in the history of 'Trek that doesn't have a specific work desk. I figure she can use the monitor where it's at, or she can put it on the coffee table or the dinning table. And if she REALLY wants to work, she's got the Ready Room and the Observation Lounge.
Not a problem. we'll get caught up eventually. :-)
The dresser unit for my Crew quarters set. The 4 doors all work- within Poser 9. Anyone want to take a crack at setting them up for other programs?
Looks good Mads, wish I could help, but I am a beginner at best at that stuff.
This is the most complicated piece I've done. I don't know how much will get shown in my story, but I wanted to give it a try.
I'm still dabbling away though to see if I can get the hang of it.
Hey, it keeps me occupied and sane now that I have been declared disabled after 4 years of fighting the system...
You'll get there. 5 years ago, when I started Nova Trek- I would never have attenpted somthing like that dresser. Now, my first thought it,"How do I break it down so I can do it?"
So far it's been three freebies... and the most popular was the first one I released on ShareCG, complete with easy install zip file. Go figure.
