I get logged out every time I leave the store or forum, even though I select to remain logged on. So I log in again, click on a link and get logged out. So I log in again, select the forums... and get logged out. I log in and go to my wishlist... and get logged out. Ten minutes later, repeatedly logging in and I FINNALLY can get here to the Commons, to post this.
I'm SO glad I'm no longer wasting money here. At least on other sites I can stay logged in long enough to actually look at products.
Congratulations on fixing your shopping cart, and thank you for making not saving card info the default. But the cart snapshot that pops up when an item is carted does not have the correct price info.
Whatever DAZ3D did that stopped some of us customers from downloading our purchases via DIM a week or two back seems to have also stopped me from having to log back into the site quite often when I visit; not that with modern browsers and their built in login saver functionality is the need to have websites save our login status via cookies needed anymore anyway. DAZ3D should do away with that antiquated and vunerable means of keeping and verifying customers are logged in.
what I don't get is,
I'm obivoulsy logged in. so why log me out and force me to log in again?
there's no sane reason for it... it's not my end or the browser etc. cookies are allowed.
this is a setting on the Daz end. not the users... and we've been told "this can't be reproduced" etc. I want a DAZ employee - not a forum mod, a Daz_ - to actually explain why they feel it's necessary to have this policy on the server. or what is causing the server to log out a user with a vanilla unmodded install of Chrome/Firefox/Safari/Edge?
I always log in to the store first (just going to daz3d.com usually logs me in automatically), and I never get logged out from the forum as long as I have a store page open. There is a connection between the store and forum login, maybe a shared cookie.
I no longer get the "mentioned you" emails when someone writes @barbult in the forum. The last one I got was on October 10, 2021, and there have been several mentions in the forum since then.
I have a question/request about the new cart page. Why does it not show the order total? Even when you click "Proceed to Payment" it still does not display any order total. It just shows the Subtotal, Discounts and Sales Tax. But no Order Total. This is not good. I want to see how much I'm being asked to pay, BEFORE I pay, without having to break out the pen and paper or calculator.
On mine, I see a Total above the "Proceed to Payment" and the "Place Order" buttons on the respective pages. I also have a "Your Store Credit" field which I can "Save for Later".
Well, that's very weird. Maybe my version of the cart isn't finished or something.
Could be browser or device related.
Most recent Chrome on PC. So, I don't know.
Latest FireFox on PC here, works fine.
Cleared cache, still having this issue.
Do you have another browser you can use? Any other Chrome users with the same problem?
On a slightly different subject, that overlapping hot zone on the main toolbar (the black one) no longer encroaches on the blue one underneath it (when you can see both).
I just tried Edge, and it works there. And also there's supposed to show how much I'm saving as a PC+ member, which I didn't realize and doesn't show in Chrome.
Working OK here in latest Chrome version (Windows 8.1).
I also tried disabling the DAZ Deals Add-on to see if that was causing a conflict, and it's still broken for me.

Would you open a customer service ticket on this? We want to more fully investigate your system specs. Thus far you are the only one reporting this issue.

I got one today so it seems to work for me.
I don't know what others are experiencing. If someone @mentions you and you don't get a notification, it is just luck if you happen upon the forum post and see that you were mentioned. If you don't stumble upon the forum message, you never know that you have a problem. @mention me and I'll see if I get an email telling me about your @mention.

If nothing else, you can click on the forum cogwheel and see if you have any notifications. If you have, click on "Notifications" and you'll get a page with links to them.
We also used to get forum pop-ups if we were active in the forum when the @mentions were posted, not seen any for a while but maybe that's just because I wasn't active when they were posted.
Would love if you could search for specific categories like "Hair" or "Character" and the genesis model you want. People and wearables is so vague, and it's a headache to search, honestly.
