@namffuak and AlmightyQUEST and PerttiA and butterflyfish - I see it now for sure... That's not part of the testing so something on the website was changed. We'll be fixing this right away, as this is stomach upsetitng to me as well.
To me, that means inadequate testing at Daz, and making the changes go live for customers to suffer with and report bugs on.
These requests were fixed. Please let us know if you have any trouble. We have tested extensively, but sometimes odd things happen.
...this is why I disliked the old store banner as it had that horizontal scrolling marquee which almost gave me vertigo, especially when it hit the end as scrolled back really fast. Whoever I opened the store page back then, I would scroll down to get it off he screen.
This is even more dizzying particularly since I took a fall a few years ago and received a head injury. It Since then I now have a bit of actual vertigo like if I quickly sit up from laying down, stand up, or turn my head/look up.
Fixed, thank you.
Yes. Thank you.
Much better - thanks!
Thank you!
A subtle, but annoying, little problem at the top of a forum page, when you can see the main shop black menu bar (DAZ : Shop : NFT : Technology : Community etc.), with the blue forum menu bar directly under it. If you click one pixel above the text on the blue bar (still well within the blue bar), it actually uses the link from the black menu bar directly above it.
(Win 10, Edge and Firefox)
I have to click BELOW the bottom of the white text in the blue bar, or it highlights the entry above in the black bar.
(Win 10, Firefox)
Same. Win 10, Chrome
Here’s an update I would dearly love to see
When I am shopping a multiple-page sale, or category of items, such as Places and Things -168 pages, or your recent sale which included over 500 pages of items - if I go in to check something out ON ANY PAGE in the hundreds - when I go back to the pages of items - I am always taken back to PAGE ONE.
WITH NO WAY TO CHOOSE THE PAGE I WAS ON. IF I keep shopping, I have to toggle page by page (after the first 5) to hopefully find what I was looking through.
You need to look at multiple page lists at Target - where you can choose any page number at all to start or resume looking perhaps in the middle of the hundred or hundreds of items for, or on sale.
Please update this regrettable shopping barrier.
We no longer have an Empty Cart button. Please bring it back.
I still have a Clear Shopping Cart button, thank goodness, because I use it a lot. I think Richard said they were trying different versions on different people, so you and I may have different web pages.
Can you fix the issue of disappearing images from posts in the forum?
Thanks, @barbult, I guess I got short-end-of-the-sticked. Your cart doesn't seem to have changed much. Mine is the same as below in Chrome, Safari, & Firefox.
Seeing a lot of posts today which make little sense without their attached images. Firefox.
well.
the ability to stay logged in, thats not been fixed.....
I know that a workaround is not a solution, but you should really be opening any store links in new tabs. Honestly, I'd recommend doing that even if the store didn't have this problem.
Why is that a "should"? That may be the way you prefer but not everyone is the same. Sometimes after many pages I accidently hit left instead of right button and then the only way to get back to where I was is to slog through all the pages. Usually I just stop shopping at that point. Sometimes I am put off enough to empty my cart. Of course now I don't have an empty cart button so I have to remove each item one at a time. It makes my mood even worse.
Making it more difficult to shop should not be their goal.
For what it's worth, what 'might' be triggering vanished attachments is that the post is replied to. Doesn't necessarily vanish for everybody but for many. Not everybody puts their images into their posts so yes we would like the attachments to stay visible thank you.
It seems my checkout shopping cart has reverted to the previous format. I prefer the previous format to the new format so thanks.
...the upper banners still need to be fixed so when you click on any of the links in the blue banner t doesn't open a selection in the top black one. Getting a bit frustrating when trying to say refresh he menu of the open forum or select a different one you end up opening the NFT, Store, or Technology landing page.
Well, now I've got the (another?) new checkout page. Per item thumbnail, name, list price, sale price, % discount, add to favorites, remove. Optional interactive license.
You can optionally add store credit or defer the choice until payment due. Place for Coupon Code, and Gift Card. Big blue button to proceed to Payment. There is a "Clear Shopping Cart" link trying to hide in itty-bitty text at the bottom. It really should be more obvious, even if it goes against marketing practices...
ETA: "Save for Later" on the Store Credit lets you choose a different payment method on the next page, which you won't have if you select Store Credit on the Checkout page (you can save it for later here, too). You can see the contents of the cart in another drop-down, but you can't change it from there. There is no "Edit Cart" button, but you can just go back a page.
The Order Confirmation Page has links for DAZ Central and Install Manager (DAZ Central gets the big blue button, DIM just gets plain text, natch). There are links to "View Invoice" and "Print" but the functions are reversed. "Print" goes to the standard Order Page, "View Invoice" goes to the Print Invoice page. And, let's not forget the ubiquitous marketing for even more Recommended Products, just for you...
In regards to the "And More To Come" part, are there any plans to make the store more accessible for felines?... Not just polydactyl cats with opposable thumbs, but ordinary cats as well.
Just asking for a friend.
Using image-based links (i.e., click on an image to go to a page) doesn't seem to work. You can add the image link to get the image, set the size and all that, then you can add the page address to which to link. It works if you don't leave the page or refresh it (i.e., try it as soon as you post it), but if you leave and come back, all you get is a link to the source image, not the page in question. "Edit Link" shows the link to the page, and "Image Properties" also has the link to the page, but it doesn't go there.
I think the idea is to fix the store problems, not make them worse.
Bug report: anchors in .top_links overlap .crumb_drop - thereby blocking part of the shop breadcrumb navigation. Tested in latest Chrome and Firefox.
Edit: It also overlaps .Breadcrumbs in the forum too
I was about to start a thread when I saw this one, so I think I should mention this here.
Each time I visit the Daz store or forum, I am signed out. Even though I select 'keep me logged in' when signing in. What's really annoying is I even get the silly message 'Hang on a sec while we sign you out' when I browse the forum. Obviously if I am on the forum I do not want to be signed out!
My other issue is when I do sign back in, I am taken to my account page. Thus losing where I was in my store browsing. Why can't I just sign in without being redirected to my account page?
That 'join the community' pop up while not signed in is also incredibly annoying.
