    A Visit to the Moirai

Morose and embittered by a life of undeserved bad luck, Bjark the Wolflord decided that before he died he would visit the Moirai, sometimes called the Fates, and demand some answers regarding the vissisitudes of his life, as well as persuade them to cut him some slack. Having little respect for their power, Bjark burst into the Moirai's lair, accompanied by several of his savage wolf-dogs. A ruckus ensued as the dogs went after the Moirai's beloved blue-black manekins, but the ladies soon had things under control. They spoke nicely with Bjark then, and sent him on his way. He didn't remember much of their conversation, but for the rest of his life he didn't have a lot to say about his luck, knowing it it could be, and could have been, a lot worse.

Thanks Totte, Emsim and Luci for your comments

@Morgan R. Lewis #2 No one can ever regret having one more bratwurst! Good one!

@Totte #7 that sure is one swinging nightclub! If that s a VW van then it s even attracting the "art" crowd. Well done!

@Emsim #3 I know how Glib feels. It s like being a magnet for nosey neighbors. Glib needs to plant a high hedge of cacti or ocotillo. Nice one!

@Zawarkal #2 Mystical and magical! Reminded me of Labyrinth with David Bowie. Good one!

@diomede64 #2 Ha!! Satyrday at the races! With those jockeys everyone wins! Nice one!!

@Luci45 #7 Bjark was really tempting the fates. Asking the Moirai to cut him some slack could have gotten him cut off entirely. What was he thinking? Well done!

Next pull... if i can get another one in

    Asgard Fashion Show

Dahling, you simply MUST go see the Asgard Fashion Show at least once before you die. It's one of the Wonders of the World, you know, maybe the VIIIth or IXth. You'll see the boldest trendsetting styles of the known world's top designers. They will go to any lengths to win the Golden Laurel, from embarking on dangerous voyages to distant lands to bring back the fashions of the barbaric Hyperboreans, to capturing an Amazon queen in order to display the exotic attire of the Tribe of Hyppolyta, to consulting the Oracle of Delphi on the clothing of the distant future. And this year, rumor has it that the Emperor of Asgard himself will be showing off the boldest fashion choice of them all...

    Entry #1

77 - Genesis Starter Essentials (all three characters are built on Genesis and the goblin wears Journeyer Scout)
    170 - Steampunk Nest
101 - HFS Fantasy Races Elves
21 - Goblin Horde for Genesis

I hope it's not too late.

One of the crucial things to do before you die...

...is to set up your own business.

I thought a bunch of misfits starting an adventuring agency could be fun. What else could you use such a freaky four for? The sign is my first try at primitives and if you cannot read the fancy font - I used Old English Text MT - it says:

Scott-Livingston, Asgard Fashion Show. Nice, and no little gray men with there cool ships, lol.

Lots of really good renders here. I've spent the past week just trying to figure out just what I do have for content. Making a DIM CSV list is easy, figuring out what and where the items are is the time consuming part.

The Daz3D Jaffa Movie. No one could film it and keep a straight face. lol.
I actually ran out of RAM before getting more film crew into the scene, "O" well. Not an Entry.
Same stuff as the “Strange Substance Undergarment Armor” plus, Guardians of the flame, Genesis Basic Wear for Women, FW Phoebe, Phoebe Hair, Genesis 2 Female (no add-on anything), Filosofy Hair for V4, FWSA Wachiwi (Custom morph), Wachiwi Hair. And ArchaeopteryxDR.

    Bucket Listing to Starboard

    Pull:
    K4 Football Uniforms
    Family Car 1950
    Lisa Botanicals - Petunia
    MRI Machine

We have run your jeep through our up-to-date electronic diagnostic MRI machine. We will provide you with highly detailed measurements. But to summarize our conclusions, we have determined that your vehicle is indeed listing to the passenger side as you suspected. It is leaning 17° to be precise. The reason for the listing appears to be that you have an Allosaurus standing on your passenger side bucket seat. We call this condition a bucket listing. We make the following recommendations:
    1. Inflate your passenger side tires to a greater pressure.
    2. Replace your shock absorbers with extra heavy duty ones
    3. DITCH THE DINOSAUR!
So to cure your bucket list you should remove the dinosaur! As you know we are a diagnostic only company, but we can recommend someone for removal purposes. I believe Cecilia Robinson has organized a team to do precisely this.
Now, will this be cash or charge?

Catoblepi may look ferocious, but the experience of snuggling them in their natural habitat is said to be spiritual in it's blissful serenity. It is said that the best way to approach them is in clothing that exposes vast expanses of skin, so they see you are squishy and harmless, and therefore do not feel threatened by you.

    ...here it is anyway:

...so, here we are, last day as usual.

Wasn't going to let RL do me in for another month. This one almost went in a different direction until silliness and memories of old commercials set in.

One thing I hope Daz studio gets soon is particle physics. Having to deal with creating a whirlwind effect with over two hundred bubbles is not for the weak or heart, or wrists.

Alice never asked for much out of her perpetually dull life of cooking, cleaning, laundry, and making sure Bob had his beer for the game. "If only just once something different and exciting would happen" she thought. Suddenly there was a knock at the kitchen door. Opening it she saw a dashing young man dismounting from an unusual bicycle and carrying a large black bag. Seeing how haggard Alice had looked, he smiled and pulled out a strange blue jug saying " this is guaranteed to make your chores a breeze." After pouring it in her mop bucket it started shaking, quaking, and spinning about the floor. He calmly turned continuing to extoll the virtues of his product saying, "your household worries are over, ma'am..."

...This will put the cleaning power of a blue cyclone in your bucket.

    ...thanks (whew).

Seems Daz's system didn't perform the changeover to Standard time last week. I just checked my locale setting in my control panel and it says PST: UTC -8:00 (with some city I never head of), but the time stamp on all the threads in the forums is one hour later than it should be (as if we are still in Daylight time), very confusing. Actually did a double check of the clocks on both my computers as well as the one in my bedroom (which has a permanent radio link to the US National Observatory's cesium clock and auto-corrects/-sets itself) to make sure.

I also placed an order just before 23:00 my time, but it the date on the order indicated it was placed tomorrow, 11/10.

One more thing the Daz site team needs to fix.

    Thanks, Gopherus
As usual some great wacky renders right before the deadline!
Kyoto Kid, that one is so cool, so unique. I'm glad you got it in on time! Bob is looking good up there with his beer.
Gopherus #4 Just so weird as usual (and still no farts) Hmmm, didn't know they had any organized labor in Redding, but since it's the leprechauns that would be possible. I didn't realize either that they had constructed Sven and Tweety's franchise in California. That explains a lot... (not really, just a sarcasm.)
Diomede #2 Those guys aren't moving very fast. I think the ladies need spurs. Hehe.
Diomede #3 Wow, will she make it? If not, lots of Vickies around to take her place.
Scott-Livingston#1 Awesome, and great description! Nice use of Emperor’s New Clothes.
cecilia.robinson #1 Great idea! I like the posing and expressions. I hope they do well with their business.
MelanieL#3 Great posing! They look like they are all listening. Hoppers & Trotters must be all those weird birds that hop and trot, another SBR gone from the store.
gopherus #5 Definitely a scream! From the pseudo-Munch painting to the weird women who make me think of Kerrigan and Harding.
zarcondeegrissom Entertaining for sure, sorry you didn't make an entry of it. I still love the “Strange Substance Undergarment Armor”
Gopherus #6 And yet another one! More strange stuff and a great description. Cecilia.robinson's team is likely a good recommendation.
KaribousBoutique #4 Awww, that is so sweet! I love the description. I love the contrast of the big creature with purple leathery skin with the flowers and twinkles.
