How much of the item/product must be visible? Do store display props count as non-TOS complaint? Or must the item be used as intended? Just thinking out loud, being curious as well.
Enough to see it but that's often pretty vague. You can't hide Urban City Sprawl 2 inside a closed crate though ;-)
O.K. so something like a gladiator armor outfit with part of this showing on a leg (as an example), is barley enough to pass RRRR and TOS.

I did the best I could to have the girl leaning to the side to show her clothes, but I couldn't do much more and make a believable pose that would blend with my photograph in the background. So I just went with it, hoping it would be enough. Nobody has complained yet. Maybe now that I have pointed out the shortcoming....

This pull as the word weird written all over it!
I usually get very good visibility of my items, but in my latest entry, I had two female clothing texture sets that are barely showing on the passenger behind the motorcycle driver. I did the best I could to have the girl leaning to the side to show her clothes, but I couldn't do much more and make a believable pose that would blend with my photograph in the background. So I just went with it, hoping it would be enough. Nobody has complained yet. Maybe now that I have pointed out the shortcoming....
...the toughest for me are when I get poses. I usually specify the pose number from the set just to be sure and note which character it was used on.
I've also removed items like some merchant resource kits and other content that would be difficult to determine if it was used (like the Genesis Evolution Morphs) from the random list.
Let me guess: Timothy Leary meets Salvador Dali, and they duke it out in front of Santa's Castle during the Christmas shopping season at The Galleria. (Which is just across the concourse from Visible Changes.)

actually have the image started but I have a deadline to finish elsewhere before I can get back into this one.
I do see lots of good entries which, of course, really makes me want to figure out how I can add funny into my idea. Everyone makes it look so easy, but I never quite seem to get there.

Well, I don't have either of the packages mentioned, tho I do have Dave5 and Gunner, with some Boxer briefs. Perhaps those will do? lol. No I'm not competing with Scott-Livingston's pics, it just gave me a funny idea. Besides, I'm absolutely sure were probably going different directions on that topic, lol.
Beside, I need to take a break from trying to reflect light, not just other surfaces.
