At some point as fas as I know, all my products were in my Product Library. Now the occasional one is still listed but the actual product page does not display. Nothing to download either. The java box with the circle thing appears [as though loading a page] and that's it. I put in a ticket concerning one product - it's a product that was shuffled around to be as part of a bundle. I noticed that it is being put into more than one bundle. So I'm getting rather leery about purchasing any of these bundles because what is happening to the products already in our Product Library?! They are not supposed to disappear.

That has happened to soem people, I'm not sure if it's meant to be  resolved in geenral and yours is a special case or if it is still hanging in geenral. Please open a ticket in case it requires individual attention.

Thank you, and yes I had done so. Support is trying I guess but so far wild guess they don't know why this is happening. Wanting me to try different browsers etc. My mind figures if this browser can download item A, it can download item B -- if item B ever shows up again. That doesn't sound like a browser problem to me.

update: it does not work in Microsoft's E either.

I had 48 of them, submitted a help ticked 7 days ago and didn't get any answer at all ... yay. Not.

When browsing the DAZ forums my browser says "getting data from www.facebook.com". WTF! I've never even visited facebook, much less created an account. And, for everybody's information, since DAZ is ignoring my rquest for a refund now for several months and despite asking regularely what is going on, I've decided to give them another week. After that I will delete my credit card data and never look back.

What is the icket number? Was this a straight, within thirty days request or was it a later request once a technical issue proved irresolvable?

New Store is Worse in Every Way - Part #538

If you're looking for textures with names that don't include the base product name you're stuck with Google searches. For example https://www.daz3d.com/elegant-embroideries the item doesn't show up if you search for "marionette".  It used to.

The only thing that has improved is that the store turns over quicker, which means that all the same old errors show up earlier and since that doesn't make the sun rise over Utah any earlier, the same old errors are visible longer.  Since DAZ management doesn't appear to have been aware of the structure of store, viz DAZ_Rawb's comments about not knowing how the store and gallery were linked, it's hard to be optimistic that things will get better soon.

ID 350491, opened on the day of purchase. I first asked them why the RSL presets mentioned in the product description infact were MDL presets renamed RSL and put in a 3Delight folder. They told me the MDL presets are 3Delight materials. I asked for a refund. After that dead silence. (Long story short)

Here's the Library Scanner for those who want to try it:

Just extract into a folder and run the .exe.

First screen is for logging in, after you're logged in click the Scan Product Library button to open the library scanner window.  Wait until it says "READY".

Change the settings and options if you don't want the default ones, and then click the Scan button to start scanning.  You can change the Retry and Pause settings while it's scanning, but don't touch or change anything else.

It's recommended to scan until it finish by itself but you can cancel and continue later if needed.  When continuing after a cancel, first open the error.log file (in the Data folder) and scroll to the end.  Here you'll see this:

I'm running it now, it's been about five hours (I have a LOT of stuff)  What exactly is this scanning for?  The subject came up due to black swirlies, but is this just identifying what has images missing, or the lack of manual downloads, what?  Does it identify any missing DIM products/interact with DIM in any way?   Thanks for providing the script, I just need to know what it can and can't identify. I have a TON of 500 errors :(

It does identify the pages that only show black swirlies - no product page loading at all.

As for "no downloads", but product page loading ... unfortunately I don't know of a script for that. At the moment I am going through my orders, loading each and clicking each to go to the product page, look for green download buttons, close page. No download buttons: contact support ... fun.

How many errors do you have - 500, 1000, 5000 (each line in product_errors_csv.txt is an error) ?  With the number of products you have, 500-1000 errors when you're finished would be normal I think, if you have several thousand there may be other server problems triggering the 500 error - it's a more general error which also covers different other problems but it seems to be rare that these occur.

I'm thinking of making the swirly scanner check for other things on the library pages, so it also reports the status (missing download and product page links etc.) of the readable pages.  It downloads the library page content anyway so it's not a lot of work.  Will take a look at it one of the next days...

I've got around 600.  Also, the count of the products doesn't match anything, it was off by over 3,100 products compared to what I have for downloads in DIM. Does that mean those products are missing from my Product Library?

I don't think the number of downloads in DIM compares to number of products in the product library  - there is often more than one download for one product in DIM (DazStudio files, Poser files, in some cases Daz Legacy or Poser companion files, in very rare cases a bryce file too).

    That would be brilliant!

Most of the times the part with the download buttons is simply badly formatted and ends up at the bottom of the page, like here:

    https://www.daz3d.com/downloader/customer/files#prod_5745/

But sometimes there are no download buttons at the bottom:

    https://www.daz3d.com/downloader/customer/files#prod_4184

    or

    https://www.daz3d.com/downloader/customer/files#prod_2871

    or

@kerya  Yeah, I know that all those "bundles" listings in Product Library throw that off too. Good point about those other types of files, hadn't thought about that. I don't have Bryce or any of that showing though in DIM.

I must search them manually one by one for each product in my shopping cart.

I picked up a couple tutorials a while back that were manual DL only...probably because they don't install to DS

I've been trying to buy a gift card all evening but the site won't let me. It keeps giving me the error message "Your PayPal transaction could not be processed at this time". I'd REALLY like to get a gift card before the sale is over, which is QUICKLY approaching. What do I do to get the site to actually process my Paypal order?

I've tried logging out and back in. I've tried making sure I'm logged out on my mobile device. What do I need to do to get the transaction to go through? I've never had this issue before.

Thanks, I tried that but it didn't help.

I tried a bunch of different things and I was finally able to get it to go through. I tried logging out and back in, I made sure I was only logged in on one device (in case that was the issue for some reason), I tried selecting a different payment type first and then selecting Paypal, etc. None of that worked but then I tried a couple of other things that finally worked. I don't know WHICH of these things is what did the trick but here's what I did (in case anyone else is having the issue):

    1) I created a new credit card profile (since I don't pay with CC I just added some zeros), 2) logged out and back in (again), and 3) cleared my cart and then rebuilt it (which came up to a slightly different total)

One or more of those things seem to have done the trick and I was finally able to check out with Paypal after doing those three things.

Not for installing ... for downloading Bryce content, it works. You just have to tell DIM in the Advanced Settings, Downloads, Application Tags that you want to see the Bryce files too.

Well, the conspiration theory is that they want people to install Daz Central ... the reality probably is that they borked it during the store change and don't know how to get it correctly.
