I have not been following this thread for a long while since I started getting the order confirmation emails again and could download my purchases. I just made an order and didn't get a confirmation email. Please answer if I need to submit a help ticket or if they know that some people still have this problem and are working on it. If I get the email later, like tomorrow I will qoute this post and write that I got it. So if I don't get it do I need to submit a ticket? Thanks in advance for a reply!
It happened a few times,I don't remeber exactly which posts I was at but I did notice that when it happens their would be a long list of links that said "Show previous quotes" in blue
Hi. There have been recent posts about confirmation emails taking hours to show up. Just checked for my last order made @ 6 pm (my time); I haven't received the email yet either. Purchase does show up in my Order History as complete, and both my product library and install manager show them as available to download. Last time the email was late for me, it popped up shortly after DAZ midnight.
I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but I can't save drafts of comments (I don't know if the same thing is happening with saving threads).
I was writing a post in the printing thread, but it didn't save (and yes, I did press the "save draft" button).
I'm also on Chrome, and I don't have any problem with that thread. Confusing.

I noticed that new posts can save drafts, but quoting another post (which opens the editor on a new page) does not save drafts. Plus, you have to add a new line or two at the end to get out of the quoted text.
I haven't had any trouble quoting a post, but did notice that now when the red line pops up at the bottom of the window for my response, I have to click on the red enter arrow to get to a new line below the post to put my answer. what I have had trouble with is when I post an image I can no longer edit the post to have the image open in a new window.
All of these will catch a large percentage of your product library listing (except "4.14" which will probably return nothing — the listing used to include the first sub-version in the version number, but hasn't done that for the last several major updates). I use "4.x" as a search string, no other item in the entire store uses that.
For what it's worth, here's a problem that used to be spotty for me before the fixings here, but is permanent now.
I click on the star in the upper right of these threads whenever I post something. I now NEVER get an email that there has been a response. Haven't since all this began.
The reason is probably because I use Linux. Anybody else use Linux and see the same thing?
BTW, the "Traditional Daz Original item for a dollar when you buy a Debut New", isn't working. I tried several different times in different ways. Gave up. Dropped both. Lost interest. Saved money ;-)
It probably has nothing to do with the change ... I was one of those lucky to get emails and then 3 month ago, the emails stopped.
There is a probable cause: your email provider. Sometimes they are blocking email from sites where you get too many emails from without putting them in the Spam folder.
Happened to me on two other forums. For one I got it solved by whitelisting the sender, for the other one that didn't work ...
I've seen complaints about the store search not showing items you own, but I have a new gripe:
The "Additional Products used in Promo Images" section at the bottom of individual store pages is also missing out products you already own. Now I realise showing them is meant to give users an incentive to buy more, but it is frustrating when the PA has supplied a list not to show it all. (I do like the thumbnails addition by the way, it helps to quickly see which is which). I found this out today when I read a thread where someone asked for an outfit id for an outfit I vaguely recognised and the respondent pointed out that it was listed on the product page. Not for me it wasn't.
+1. Also mentioned here too, as I don't know how to multi-quote anymore. I like the thumbnails, even in the products with lengthy lists. Whatever the final layout is decided, if I'm logged in I want to see all the products used. Why can't they just gray them like when they showed what's in a bundle? Also cast my vote for the add-ons section, as mentioned in the linked post.
None of the older products in Poser format (that I have checked) list DAZ Studio as compatible software. There are some that are indeed Poser only, but the other 99% of them can be used with DAZ Studio no problem, and used to show it.
how are people posting images in the forums while the galleries are in limbo? is there a way to do this without using an external image host?
someone's asked to see renders of a character they're interested in, and i'd like to oblige them.

i really do miss the galleries. i miss being able to see how other people have used products i'm curious about, as opposed to just relying on promos.
hope they're back soon.
the documentation center's lost an awful lot of formerly functioning entries, too. and those were really useful for figuring out how to actually locate products in my library.
Does anybody else have the problem that not all items in the shop seem to be categorized by artist.
I select daz-originals and genesis 8 female and have only around 300 items showing.

Click attach a file navigate to the file location and select it just like in an email
Images uploaded to the forum are separate from gallery images.
Click the "Attach a file" link below the editor, then select an image from your drive. That will only attach it to your post. If you want to show that image in the post, follow these steps.
Like the attached? This happens all the time for me...I scroll through pages of this in some cases. Very irritating

In my case, confirmation e-mails have not only been showing up late but, in some instances, showing up in my spam instead of my Inbox. This never happened to me with the old DAZ store, though I have no idea whether the two are any way related.
You might want to doublecheck your spam filter to see whether some confirmations have been re-directed there by accident.
Thanks Kerya. There were no emails from here in my ISP's spam, but wow, a couple of important newsletters I need were there. So very much thank you for clueing me into that!
Also, weirdly, I finally got an email notice from this thread, referring to the post that I, me, made! Hilarious.
But then later, there was yours. So maybe things are falling a bit into place.

I could have sworn I went to my Product Library last week and the Interactive Licenses were filtering through to child items in bundles???

Agreed that Jack should definitely update the first post. I just went through pages trying to figure out if anyone at Daz is tracking my biggest problem: the search not showing items I own. I really need this for creating Now-Crowd Billboards. Going incognito and back and forth is not cutting it to try and find items that relate to the Now-Crowd I am working on. I still don't know but found someone complaining about it too (just no official response).
There are two known issues with search and items you own:
Over a month with no update to the OP. Maybe they don't know how to fix things or have given up?
I'm getting the same error this morning. Every time I try to check out via (add a) Credit Card payment, I also get the message at the top, "An error occurred while processing this transaction". My credit card is fine, and I use it all the time on Daz, so it is apparently a problem with the store.
Hope someone can report this, so they can fix the checkout.
Interesting... I was also using a Visa card. Please post again if your Visa card processing issues go away at work, and if so, then I'll try to checkout on Daz again.
