Based on my own experiences with this sale and the comments of others, it seems like the two different Countdown Sale offers - one for up to 5 items at $2.99 and one for more than 5 items at $2.99 minus 20% or the Loyalty Discount (whichever was larger) if a new item was also in the cart - were only usable once ever rather than once per day.  Thus I was able to purchase several items at $2.99 one day and then others a different day at $2.09 along with a new item, but after that neither offer worked any more and all Countdown Sale items were priced at $9.95. When I set up a new account with a different e-mail address as a test, the Countdown Sale items worked fine but I did not purchase them because I did not want them in a different account.  So the problem for my account and apparently many others was that the daily reset for the two offers did not work and once we had used both of them, we could no longer purchase any Countdown Sale items at $2.99 (or less with the Loyalty Discount).  I hope this information is useful to the DAZ troubleshooters.

All of the other sales worked fine for me and I was able to pick up a number of items at bargain prices, especially when I could combine the 10% Daz originals offer with my Loyalty Discount and an existing sale price.  I did purchase a few other Countdown Sale items after Christmas at $9.95 each and then submitted store credit requests for the difference in price, but I must confess that I purchased a lot fewer Countdown Sale items than I might otherwise have done, due to the much higher prices.

I bought a $2.99 item wit a new item on Sunday and the offer was still working ($2.99 with new, that is) on Monday (then it was broken yesterday and today) so no, it isn't that.

I've bought several times throughout the sale. Only once per day though.

glitchy posting saves draughts instead of posting

When that happens, it ofetn means you're actually logged out, or so it has been with me.

actually this was identical to the previous post

it got saved and posted after it finally posted

    Ah, k.

  • Some pages were being updated just now, which requires the pricing rules to be rerun - that was probably what you saw.

No change until now with the prices, I'm afraid

wow it's only me o the store site is terrible "slow" to load and even add stuffs to the cart is not working and also i found a issue with the

ALL Historical Top Sellers 50% OFF

60% OFF* with any New Release

the 60% is not being applied when adding a new "stuff".

it's only being account the 50% not the 60%, the final price was supposed to be 32.45

    183.95 - 60% - 30%(membership) - 30%(loyal discount) - 10%(extra discount) = 32.44878(32,45)

I'm also not getting the full discount on the Historical items.

    Reported this.

I just put these in my cart out of curiosity and got the same prices.   Everything seems higher today, and the 2.99 sale is still broken.   I picked up the two pc+ freebies and called it a day.

When I get logged out, I always see a tiny "page not found" box in the bottom corner, instead of a not quite so tiny "draft saved" box. Not exactly the most obvious of error messages, it took me until just a few months ago to realise that's what it meant.

2,99 is still broken for me. No matter if with or without a new item. Didn't buy a new giftcard for January, after this frustrating sale I need a pause. Urgently .Maybe buy some PC-items this month, everything else ... well, I already own too many DAZ items. Perhaps this was the DAZ-store way of telling me this.

the alleged 2.99 items are still still 9.95 each.

special holiday glitch extended one more day!  happy new year!

...yeah just found that out.  have 2.99$ in store credit but can't afford the price I am seeing. Even refreshing the page or removing the item (The Counting House) and putting it back in doesn't work.

True, but that is a small enough sum that for many people it will be practical to ask for a refund on the overcharge.

Oh, I don't really mind the remaining 90 cents on those five items. Support will be busy enough for weeks to come after this sale, and I don't want to add to that any further. It may be their problem, but it's not their fault. Sure, for some people those 90 cents are an issue, and I definitely won't tell them to not contact support about it, but I'm already happy I finally got some items I *really* like, so I'm happy. :)

yeah it's looks like fixed the 2,99 but the historical still bugged not going to the 60% as it was supposed to go.

  • $2.99 showing up as $2.99 but no loyalty discount for me. I'll take it over $9.95, but not fully fixed for me.

2.99 items are 2.99 if you're logged out. Sign in and the prices go up. This happens on different computers and browsers. So it seems to be a bug linked to our individual accounts rather than some kind of browser or operating system....?

Personally, I doubt it. I'm still convinced it's a CloudFlare issue with incomplete data uploaded from the Daz site. Chances are high that regardless of what device you connect with, you are still going through the same CloudFlare mirror site, so you're going to see the same issues.

As someone who worked in the Internet Service Provider industry for a number of years, I've seen services like this that are exceptional when they are starting out, only to become marginal as they oversell the service. CloudFlare continues to add locations to their network, many of which are not owned by CloudFlare or dedicated to the service. More locations means more points where something can go awry.

I'm not impressed with the Magento software Daz uses for the store, a feeling I held long before I started buying products at Daz. However, the issue with the $2.99 products is not consistent for all customers, which brings me back to believing the CloudFlare service is the real issue.

As for not changing the offer when it was obvious the way it was set up wasn't working, I can only think the people who could have made that decision were off on holiday…

2,99 offer worked for me today. Added a new item, price dropped to something just a little above 2 bucks. I was too tired to calculate whether it means my loyalty discount was properly calculated or not ...

But it was a real nightmare to complete the purchase. Several bad gateway errors and site is very slow.
