Regarding #2, you should try to top the $20 and see if you get discounted up to $20. That is how I've always seen it work. It seems like DAZ sometimes understates how good/flexible an offer is.
Confirmed, I seem to be getting the correct discounts on both the Pro bundle and the add-ons now.
Thank you Richard (who I’m assuming finally got it fixed.) But why do we have to go through this every day? What is going on in those offices? I’ve never seen anything like this at any legit company!

My thoughts exactly. I'm not seeing the point of another pseudo-base figure that looks almost the same as so many others.
Now that the prices are fixed, I really want to check out and play with new toys (I think she’s adorable as are the characters based on her) but I’m thinking those Daz Originals will go down in price and if I wait I’ll get more bang for my buck or if I check out now, have to file yet another complicated CS ticket involving time consuming math,.. Dilemna.

If you get items totalling a bit more than $20, say two items at $11 each, so the total is $22 when the discount applies what you will see in cart is each item will only cost $1 each.
I even had a roommate at university who was shorter; 4'11. She got the lower cupboards, I had to buy a stepladder :-D
Heh-heh, I just pulled the trigger on Tika and a bunch of stuff, popped back to check something and now there's a "Nifty 50" flash sale. Maybe I should just sign my credit card over to Daz to simplify the process.
I’m 5’8” but I still wear heels lol. But yeah, I wouldn’t call 5’9 short but height is really easy to change with morphs...
That is common and thankfully easily fixable; big eyes like that are for stylised or young children.

I like Tika, and the characters and clothing in the Pro Bundle (nice stuff in the add-ons too), but all the recent rash of great flash sales have vacuumed all the money out of my budget. So, wishlisted for later...

Ladies and gentlemen. I think everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I very seldom get worked up over non-life changing things, however.... We're supposed to be an art community,for crying out loud! Emphasis on community! Do we really have to spend this much bile railing against fellow artists who are making products for our enjoyment! Could any of you have made designed packaged and sold Tika,or any of her characters? So she's not to your taste... Then don't freaking buy her! Don' get on here and piss and moan about her, and creator or Daz for marketing what sells well for them. they are trying to remain solvent as a company so they can keep making new content that might be exactly what you need and want! If they go broke being super eclectic, the no more floyds or victorias or mables... nothing... zip nada... so you would have to go back to paper and crayons,and bitch about crayolas color choices! As for Thorne and the characters... for me seing them on sale atthe old content paradise,was what drew me to attempt 3D art back when most other figures looked closer to generic toystore dolls. they had a greatersense of depth and presonality, and art than anything else I saw aa decade ago. istill have panacea pookling! i cant use her but I loved her design and could see the artists love and craftsman ship. You say they all look like Thorne dolls... well hell yes! the same artist makes them! Never heard DaVinci or VanGoughbeingragged on because their creative styles were the same from painting to painting. Sheesh! It'slike my mom always told me...if you can't say something nice,don't say anything at all. I'm buying her,

Logical inconsistencies aside, this is a forum, and the topic is "Tika 8 - thoughts". If you think the mild criticisms here are harsh, you should check out the Daz 8 Baby thread :-) No one here has specifcally criticized Thorne as an artist - and that PA has a very distinctive style, it's true - and I personally have several of her figures for earlier generations. I think it's great that you like the figure, and are supporting her by purchasing her. Instead of attacking everyone, maybe you should express your opinion about the things that attracted you to the figure, or the plans you have to use her?
Pont taken Misselthwaite, and I apologize for getting on my little soapbox.The real world is such a negative place. i come here looking for ideas and inspiration. Not to delve into socio political mire, but its so easy to denegrate from the safety of a keyboard... for example... my rant. I think artists do their best to put something of value into the world,and when we yawn at their efforts, it's gotta hurt. it would me. I havent the talent content creators, and most of the artists in the gallery have, but I admire the courage they have for doing it. When they send their work into the digital world, and we either pan it, or treat it with disdain its gotto be akin to having someone say "Your kids are ugly and they suck." I love realistic figures, and there are many here to choose from, but Thornes art is what first captured my imagination with the 3d world, and still does. Again apologies if I offended anyone.
I suspect most people drag their soapbox about on their ankle, so it's always at hand ;-) I doubt anyone was seriously offended. PA's, like any other kind of marketed artist, are at the often rough mercy of their customer base. Many of the comments here, though, seem more narrowly aimed at Daz and their marketing choices (or mishaps) than the artist - even my comment about flat looking eyes is likely more a criticism of the images chosen to advertise the product than neccessarily the product itself.
I think the 'idea and inspiration' is in the artists sections... the Commons seems more likely to be the gossiping around the water-cooler! I think you're right, though - a complaint somehow appears more quickly made than a compliment, and delivered with more intensity. :-)
Seriously. Tell me about it. I'm a bit taller at 5'5" & am the shortest human in the house. (6' husband, 5'10 son, 5'7" daughter) If it's higher up than 6 foot, I need a stepstool to reach it, and 9 times out of 10 that's not enough & someone else still has to get it for me.
Fourth grade (age 10 or 11) is the last time I was tall; most of my classmates were shorter than me, but by 5th grade, it seemed like everyone was taller than me, except for my 5'0" teacher.
EDIT: posted this before I saw Cybersox's post about average heights. By that I am right at average for a woman, so why do I still seem to be shorter than 80% of the women I see?
My 9 and 11 yr olds will eclipse me soon, and my eldest girl is 5'11" like her dad. Now she reaches my cupboards for me :-) I was the 2nd tallest girl in Gr. 6, once upon a time... I hope I appreciated it enough, then!
Simply shrinking a figure doesn't give you a short adult. Would it be so hard to make one figure actually be short...? If you wanted it taller, you could just increase the leg and torso lengths... ;-) It's like making a cave troll, and calling it a dwarf - it's wildly inaccurate, and kind of a bizarre description to use.
Nope not fixed, I just put it in my cart and I have the purple banner and its showing at 52.90 at the moment
@wickedxxangel I've been really disappointed in how negative many people have been on the forum lately, so I hear ya. There must be something in the air - lots and lots of negativity. This one is actually super tame compared to some of the awful comments that were in the babies thread. lol Thank goodness people have reigned that back a bit. On the plus side though, Tika 8 pro bundle shot to the top of the What's Hot list very quickly and is holding there, so apparently quite a few people like her. I'm glad. :)
