Ok, now the Tika bundle just went up by $10.00. I give up...
Yup. Cart just jumped up in pricing for me by about $17. Will have to wait for things to settle, and will probably wait a couple days out to see if the DO freebies get discounted further...
Tika bundle: $66.13 - 30%= $46.29-20% (banner) = $37.03 Not $52.90 which it now is in my cart. Looks like the other issues were fixed though.
I really hate that the first day something is released is no longer recognized as the best deal. I'm on the fence on whether to wait, knowing the trend for the past few releases has been to offer better deals after a day or two.
The biggest problem is that the prices have been wrong all morning and still are. The Tika bundle is still $16.00 more than it should be.
I already have a Thorne doll, therefore, I have all of them. Sorry to be so harsh, but....
Plus, I just do not need yet one more white female. The only one I find even remotely interesting is Sonnet, and I'm not going to buy Tika for one character.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding this sale, but I'm not seeing any discount on the Pro bundle, just the add-ons. When it reads:
"Buy the Pro Bundle
& 2 of her Add-Ons:
extra 10% OFF* them
& $10 FREE*‡ Select Categories below"
I thought the 10% off applied to both the Pro bundle and the add-ons. In my cart the discount for the add-ons is correct but the Pro bundle is still 66.13. If I toss in another add-in character, the discount for the add-ons is correctly adjusted to 20% but the Pro bundle does not change. Am I reading the sale conditions incorrectly or is this a Daz glitch?
If it doesn't apply, this probably means I won't bother with the bundle, just pick up that Vector hat & ponytail separately.
Also, no purple banner for me. *sad* I guess I haven't been spending enough here.

Yes, the eyes bothered me in all of them... they're flat. I don't do G8, so I'm not the target either... though I have experienced lustful thoughts for Floyd & Mabel.
Mika 8? Karyssa 8? Aiko 8? There is so little difference between them and Tika. Whats the point? Please someone explain this.
I'm actually really offended that they are describing the 5'9" character as 'short'. I am 5'2". You people have no clue what you are talking about :-(
The character is okay. The Toony add-on is fun. But the only sale incentives are for the Pro pack -- and for the first time in forever there is absolutely nothing in the Pro pack that I could see myself using. Not even the hair, although I certainly don't object to the hair.
In fact, I find I actively dislike the bundled outfits. Definitely going to sit on my hands for this one. May pick up something from the add-ons before the intro sale tapers off.

It's especially baffling given that, as of 2002, the average height of a MAN in Utah was 5' 10.8" and the average woman's height was 5' 5" (It's amazing what you can find on the internet. https://www.deseretnews.com/article/375006985/Utah-by-the-numbers.html ; I double checked the numbers by cofnfirming the number of Starbucks in the entire state, which was listed at 11 but in the 17 years since has increased to a whopping 17. 17???!!!! By comparison, we have over 135 here in the city of Houston alone. https://www.statista.com/statistics/306896/cities-with-the-largest-number-of-starbucks-stores-worldwide/ ; Hmm. )
I like the character, I like the bundle, but someone please fix the price! It is still $16.00 too high if you have the purple banner. What is going on there?

I find the lack of proofreading evident in the examples being offered here and the other main sites, often with PAs who sell on multiple platforms to be somewhat appalling. I mean, I see morph mispelled on a regular basis for goodness sake. So I'm in your corner.
I agree with what others have already stated: She's fine, but very boring. Tika looks like a character I could spin up on G3 in a few moments.
That said, DAZ has given us some wild characters lately so I can't fault them too bad (except the horror-show that is the babies).
The Add-ons discount applies to the add-ons, it doesn't apply to the Pro Bundle as far as I can read the promo. The banner applies to the bundle, not the add-ons.
I think the PAs write their own description and English may not be their first language. I forgive that. What I don’t forgive is Daz itself always getting prices wrong and we have to fight to get them fixed. This has gone way beyond unprofessionalism by now, it’s been going on for about a year. Almost every day of March Madness, there were errors, there are very few days that there are NOT errors. Come on Daz! I’ve been a customer here for an embarrassingly long time and see things going down hill fast within the last year, especially the last few months! What is going on???

Well, earlier the extra discount on the Pro bundle for having 4 addons was properly applying but then it was lost before I could checkout. Buying the bundle was somewhat mariginal for me anyway; so, if it isn't fixed / reinstated then I have no problem just dumping my cart and saving my money
Tika 8's eyes look a bit big for my tastes. I might buy her to use her texture. Does she come with makeup? I don't see any makeup listed on her product page.
That IS how it's worked for the last dozen or so sales, and it's how the cart WAS adding up until they went in and fixed the mistake they made with Jyune. If DAZ is trying to change the rules on us after all this time, I suspect they'll have a lot of unhappy customers and a lot of lost sales. The fact is, the only reason I buy most Pro Bundles is the economy of scale and they've already badly crippled Tika with the games they're playing with the "free content."
The discount reads:
BUY THE PRO BUNDLE & 4 OR MORE OF HER ADD-ONS: EXTRA 30% OFF* them
It implies that 'extra 30% off* them' refers to everything before the colon (since the asterisk relates to the * Items must be in cart simultaneously for discount to apply.)
"Mixable Expressions" has adorable promo images, I guess those don't really depict the base Tika character though? It looks different to me.
I like a good number of the offerings, between the bundles and the add-ons, but the pro bundle needs that 30% I think.
Couple of things:
1. Will the pro bundle price be fixed? I would like to know before I buy this.
2. $20 off is okay for 1 item, but when most items are $11 and up, you can probably only get 1 item per group. But something is better than nothing, I guess. :)
