And the description made me cringe. Seriously, "modern gamer girl"? As a woman and a gamer, that's a terrible, terrible description. It's like whoever wrote that was taking inspiration from that meme with the old guy in the high school who's like "How do you do, kids?" *wince*
Also, #DazSoWhite again. And no, an Instagram blackfishing-esque character doesn't count (i.e. a clearly caucasian girl with a spray-on tan to look black).
I'm torn. On the one hand, it's yet another white girl. On the other hand, I'm sketching a character right now who really fits this brief and I've not been happy with my attempts to get her working well in G8 (Isabella 7 was fantastic for her) and this might be exactly what I'm looking for. Plus either of the two hairs in the pro bundle could be pretty much exactly what I wanted for hair, so argh!
I do just happen to have a $200 gift card now and I'm getting some offers on a few other G8 pro bundles I've not picked up yet, so I might be able to scoop up some decent savings on this one.
Okay, I didn't have Edie 8 or Mika 8 yet, those 2, Bridget 8 pro bundle, HD add on, and the cool kitty textures all for under $100? Yeah, that's a no-brainer.

Typical - after the last several Pro bundles offering me a gift card discount (while my account balance is in the hundreds), by the time my account has dwindled down to about $18 left, they bring out a character where they offer no such deal.
Still, even with the slightly disappointing deal (both in terms of lack of gift card and not much bonus content for buying the Pro bundle), it's still a certain buy once I work out what free content to pick - I seem to be collecting all the G8F characters anyway, I can't really say no to freckles, and the discounts on the bundle are reasonably generous.
I'm still getting this until the 9 line comes out...but sadly, this is the first one that I've found a little lackluster. We've seen so many diverse "white" characters yet very few others. Come on, DAZ, the gene pool ain't that shallow.

Sometimes i really wonder what's the point of some "Base Characters"
In the past we had Skinny, fat, muscle, etnic, young, voluptuous, old, older characters. But, "a gamer girl", really? That need a pro bundle?
The idea of some "monster" characters it's cool, but Tasha only have "fangs" morphs, and only one morph! She could be just a G8 character like Vampy G8F-V8
I mean, i remember the "Creature morphs", "elite morphs", "morphs ++" for V4 were awesome, so many possibilities. Today we have a LOT of pro bundles, for characters that sometimes have nonsense to be "base characters".
Haven't seen it yet, I keep refreshing though, since she is somewhat interesting. But I should cut on my spending, so for now it looks like it's just going to be the Riley hair.

I think the whole trick is to get the Pro-package, and combine it with the HD add-on from the Bonus Madness, and then add one other cheap add-on. The resulting price for those three combined should then be around $40.
Then grab $50 worth of select Daz Originals, and if there's any previous pro-pack you were still interested in, you can get that for about $30 as well. It's not the most amazing deal I've seen around, but it does end up somewhere between the regular Daz Original Character introduction deals.

Yeah, I’m sick of the white girls -and spamming renders with forced positivity can’t convince me otherwise-, but I ended up buying the bundle solely for the hair and clothes: Bridget and her PA characters are going to remain uninstalled for a while.

The outfit is a kitbash. The shirt is from the Jasper Black outfit, the skirt is from Kids Casual, and the hat is from Hipster.
I think she's lovely, it's the first Pro bundle I've bought in ages AND I got the Edward Pro bundle as well. I wanted Sydney 8 but there was no extra discount on her, probably because she's still 'New".

This makes no sense at all. You don't like the girls in the bundle, but still bought the pro/starter bundle just for the hair? No wonder Daz keep pumping out these kind of content. You and majority of the Daz users here complain about not wanting another caucasian girl, but still buy her bundle? Like what?!? Not installing them dont mean nothing to them when you already forked over your money. Daz dont care what you want, they look at what is giving them profit. To put it short and blunt. If you want them to change simply dont buy any of these kind of content, but i know people like you will just buy it anyways.
That's exactly what I did. Snapped up 2 more pro bundles and the hd add-on. A few other things, worked out to like $640 for $130 or so.
