No its a mess, I can't imagine how much this is costing the PAs.
It's doing this for me, too. Shows the amount coming off in the cart, but then when checking out the total is also 11.37 This needs to be fixed.

You have to admit, it's pretty amazing how a promotion that changes so little in format from day to day manages to keep finding new ways to mess up...
I finally got Dorothy, it even knocked a further 1c off the price when I checkout, for no obvious reason. What a palatha.
Very happy with Nancy and the teen poses, the two new releases I bought. That bicycle is worth the cost alone, it is really lovely. And the poses are very natural looking. I have been planning to make some illustrations for a book about a teen's adventures, and these will come in very handy indeed.
Rather odd that Nancy is a K-pop idol.. but Japanese. And I am very surprised that the product images are using Studio Gibhli's Totoro character. I couldn't see any official association. She works really well with the Cartoonizer, exactly what I was hoping. I am building up a nice little collection of toons now :-)

As an example, Momo is from Japan and a singer in the K-pop girl group Twice, which has two other members from there as well. This link is to an article discussing the globalization of the K-pop landscape.
This price issue only happens, afaik, with discounts that are added in the cart. I think it's a function of how Magento works.
I've noticed it gets worse during event sales, presumably because there are so many purchases going on. Although I don't know Magento code at all, my experience with shopping carts in general suggest the code determining the total is separate from the code determining each individual item's final cost. (Which might also explain the occasional 1¢ discrepancy between the cart page total and payment page total.)
Most shopping carts set cookies to keep track of the details in your cart, and I think on the first checkout page, each product's final cost is calculated and set in a cookie. Then on the payment page, the total is determined by that cookie.
The solution from our end is to refresh the page when the listed products have incorrect values but the Total is correct. This will recalculate values and set a new cookie.
...yeah there are different styles. Some have the woven mat, some have a solid wood seat, and some like this.
...hmm, the only change I see for the "Key" item is a different promo picture for the same thing.
My best guess, from watching the Magento store go from its initial barely working SNAFU'd state a few years ago to its current mostly working SNAFU'd state, is that the cart's final total value can probably be relied on (unless something a few steps back has gone seriously Heisenberg with applied discounts). Individual item values (after discounts) and the various subtotals as shown on the cart page always have a small +/- error range.
Well, since this was so well received last weekend, it makes sense to do the same thing this weekend.
Bonus item not working at 70%: unless that was intentional. I'm afraid English is my first language.
I'm seeing it work. 1) have you purchased items in the last three days? 2) have you tried to relog? 3) have you tried clearing cache? 4) have you tried a different browser?
Same for me. I tried putting each item in my cart (one at a time), and neither show as 70% off. (Bridget 8 HD and Joel HD for Brandon 8 are what show as bonus items for me, not that I want them.)
This was shortly after I made a purchase today, and I made an earlier purchase within three days.
EDIT: Within a couple of minutes of posting the above, I went back to my cart, refreshed it and Joel HD showed the full 70% off. You have to love this store! Never the same results twice
Sometimes the issues with the pricing are caused by something the folks at Daz did or didn't do. But don't forget they use CloudFlare to mirror the site on servers all over the world, and it takes time for the changes to propogate over all the serviers. It is unusual for the updates to still be in process an hour after Daz Midnight, but it can happen.
And that's why the store fails miserably with sales that change frequently, causing frustration for customers. And extra work for Customer Support, not to mention the Mods who have to deal with our complaints.
What have we today? All the previous sales. Thank you for buying our product previously.....
I'll not buy any product on the first days from now on; I'll see if the last day deal is good or not.
I hope this sale f... up this month's sales numbers and DAZ will try to get people to buy things at the end. (with even higher price cuts)

Sorry to be so blunt but this pricing policy is a big no-no.
They always have catch up weekends like this during all the month long sales - this is the second catch up for this sale, and there'll be another at the end. The prices are unlikely to be any better though, since they've stuck with 50% max discount throughout. If the final weekend gave everyone a better discount, they'd be inundated with return requests, as everyone would send back their original purchases and rebuy everything at the lower price. That's not going to happen.
Okay, I'm beginning to feel what everyone is talking about with the Bridget 8 sale. I could buy 13 of my wishlisted items at an extra 40% off if I had not bought Bridget 8 on day 1.

Pretty annoying, isn't it?! I can understand that they are trying to drive new purchases, but I wish could frame the offer as "Buy OR OWN Bridget 8 Pro Bundle AND buy two (more)Still Mad Items TODAY to get an additional 40% off..."

so what is the price difference with the Bridget 8 HD in the bonus buyer now compared to the deal we had when B8 was first released I've forgotten the price I paid for her hd in the deal I had I'm a pc member and got a bonus for buying so many G8 Pro bundles - the basic deal was buy pro bundle plus 3 add ons

There are a few Daz origanls in my wishlist I want, so I need to buy a new release and giftcard to get 15% off the gift card, then use the giftcard to buy Bridget and an addon for 100$ to get an extra 75% off Daz origanls in my wishlist. Is that right?
Okay I am about to buy Baldric for $5.97 but I feel cheated that I could have got him for $1.99 earlier in the week if they hadn't whipped him away after a day as a Bonus while I was waitng to see if they change anything else. And yet Bridget HD add-on is still available as a Bonus, which makes a casual shopper thinks Baldric would be around for a couple of days. Yeah, I probably should have picked him up when he first appeared but how many times have we been penalised for buying day one? Great way to give the Customer a positive experience Daz.
answering my own question, the answer is no
Buy a new release, with giftcard, gets 15% off giftcard. Buying Bridget and Landon are only going to save you on new release content.
i almost checked out one day when the free stuff for $50 off was at 58%, about 1/3 of the stuff anyway, but ehen I woke up its was back to 30% for most. Glad I waited becasue ALL of them are now at 58% off ... which equates to 2 or 3 additional items for free, or you can add items until the price hits over 50 but then you still get all of them for less than a buck or so, depending on what you put in there. ... all good
Now the 15% off gift card. So you need to buy a NEW RELEASE ... not a MAD NEW RELEASE, it appears ANY new release ... so something way low, like the 70% off deal today...and get the gift card for 15% off ... yeah ... which brings Bridget8 to $36... could have gotten her for 32 the 1st day or so, but now better deal on the $50 OFF DO items ....
I think it all sort of plays out pretty close no matter which deal you end up buying.
