Nice!
Love the blue Werewolf texture.
Tweaked the morph a bit
OMG!! Those are both fantastic. If I'd seen those as promo images (and Carolo O's, on the motorcycle), it would have been an instant buy for me!
Playing around with Lycan from the Pro Bundle.
fantastic!
Thanks! I tried dialing up the exposure in post, but I couldn't do it too much without washing out the detail in the center. I'm thinking I might have to go back in to the scene, fix the lighting, and rerender it (which took 11+ hours last time, so I'm not in a rush there...) Also, I notice that uploading it to the Gallery scaled down the image. It started at 2000x1500, but became 1472x1104, so I must have lost a bit of detail there. Is there some kind of cap on the image sizes for the Gallery?
Gorgeous! I love the color mix with the frost covered trees, like the wolf has a natural camoflauge.
The cap is on the file size. Any dimension image can be uploaded, as long as the file size is under 2MB. (I use Irfanview to save images to jpg with a 2MB limit. Works like a charm.)
If you go back to the scene and re-render, there are a couple of things you can do. Ghost Lights are really good for producing ambient light that doesn't cause shadows. If you don't have one of the Iray Ghost Light Kits, KA details how to make them yourself here. (It says for interior lights, but you can use them anywhere.) You can also make the image brighter overall, and use Tone Mapping to darken the image. Unlock the Exposure Value and increase the setting. (You don't need to know all those camera terms and settings, EV higher darkens the image, EV lower brightens it.) You can even do a combination of both.
This is a fun image, a real heart-stopper. I'm so glad I won't meet that beast anywhere IRL!
Striking! Well done and thanks for sharing!
Already have so many werewolves, but couldn’t help myself and had to pick this one up, too. Outstanding sculpting (as usual, Josh) - love the hair:

there's an update for alpha team outfit in dim
update seems to be stuck in downling limbo though may have to retry later
Baldric for Landon 8 looks really good. This is a quick test. Hopefully, when I have time to play, I can see how he looks with fangs and in action!
Here's my Landon:
I have no interest in Landon, but Joel is a babe! *swoon* *cry*
Hah! i was just trying to see if I could sort of recreate one of the Joel promos:
Like anyone who lurks in DarwinsMishap's Art Studio thread, I knew Baldric was in the pipeline, so the moment I saw him in the store I put him in the cart. It was only later that I realized he was a Bonus item at an additional 70% off! Now that's a nice surprise. A few days later, Joel was also a nice surprise, and took only marginally more time to make it into my cart. I haven't done anything with Joel yet, but here's a render of Baldric.
Baldric WIP
I used dForce on the jeans and shirt, neither of which were sold as dForce Compliant. It you're interested the details, I featured this yesterday in my dFocce thread in the Art Studio here. A second post has a bunch of Viewport Draws of before and after.
And here is a link to the final scene using Baldric. The camera angle is a bit different, and Baldric's pose is different from the neck up. This is the gallery Thumbnail sized up. Behind Baldric is a dark room with some distinct dangers about to cause trouble.
Enemy Of My Enemy
Like so many of my images, the full image looks best full-screen, without anything white/light around the image. There are details which tell a story in the dark recesses of this scene, details that I think are worth the extra effort: To see the image full screen, go to the gallery page here. Right-click on the image and open the link in a new window, (or tab.) Select the window or tab of the image and set the browser to view full screen, (F11 to open full screen, F11 again to exit full screen.) Enjoy.
Hint: Baldric isn't the only Landon based character in the scene…

This looks awesome, L'Adair! Lighting is great and what a serious look he's giving and rightfully so. But I think he has his hands full. ;-) Unfortunately I wasn't able to pick up Landon or Baldric, but hopefully soon. Baldric looks awesome.
Thank you, Glen.

Baldric definitely is awesome. Keep in mind, though, my two renders above use his skin lightened beyond what the presets will do.
The Enemy Of My Enemy image has the Lycan HD for Landon 8 in the background, just visible enough to hint at the danger Baldric is in, (at least when you see the image full-size.) But I put a lot of work into the Lycan and wanted to show him off, too. Here he is:
