Haven't got a glimpse yet. Since it's not showing in the store yet. But the purple banner shust showed up. So we have a name.
Okay, the page background is now showing on the link in the banner, even if the thumbnails are all swirlies.
Where wolf? *There* wolf!

Not Gianni 8 :(
No, not Jihali, either.
First glimpse ... a werewolf ... sigh
Well, considering that Tasha was a vampire I suppose we ought to have been expecting something paranormal.
The swirlies seem to be settling down a bit.
That’s because The Brute 8 most likely replaced Gianni due to low sales. The same thing probably happened to Kenji as well.
I literally melted when I saw this one...
I was thinking of getting the pro bundle, and started looking at individual items, when I saw that https://daz3d.com/dforce-outsider-outfit-for-genesis-8-males is showing what looks like texture problems in the main promo image. I'll wait until people start posting images with dForce added. The promos, if they are using dForce indicate the jeans don't perform well with dForce. Please prove me wrong, because we need good dForce stuff for the males.
(Edit to fix typo.)
Passed on Tasha, will pass on this one, too. Should have passed Sydney, passed Eva.
Zelara, Gia, Monique and Nix were good, though.
I like him. I'll be getting the Pro Bundle when I can. (Just spent all extra money on the one-day PC sale). I really like the Jonathan Brandis hair (Landis).
Looking at past generations, we’re pretty much done with the normal human figures and we are at the tail end of generation 8.
The crotch looks bad, but at least they showed it, so you know what you are getting.
Please note and point out to anyone who may notice, the Alpha Team Textures in the Pro bundle are supposed to be the outfit and this has been reported.
I was about to post about that, Chris. The textures are not part of pro bundle, if anyone is wondering, as is normal with pro bundles.
What, another one!? If Daz is going to crank out "base" characters at the rate of one every month, I see no reason to plunk down 22 bucks per release. Ill wait for the 70% off discount.
Another... it's been two a month for almost every month since release hasn't it?
Well I'm down to one swirly, which I suspect is the HD add-on. But won't know until it settles.
Doesn't look bad, but not especially distinctive -- apart from tjhe teeth and claws.
I do rather like the hair. And none of the outfits look completely unusable. Although most of them are different-sames to something already available.
*sigh* I want to support male releases, but nothing about him is particularly unique to me, except the teeth and claws. Honestly he kinda looks like Lucas's head on Christian's body. I might just get the base figure for the teeth and claws. The only thing I really like is Thorn.
*sigh* I want to support male releases *sigh*
*sigh*
I really want males. REALLY I do. But I don't like him. Not even a little bit. I don't like the hair or most of the clothes. The only thing I do like is Hinkypunk's character. Not enough to make me buy into it.
*sigh*
Laurie
Jonathan Brandis... that's a name I've not heard in a long time. When I was a little girl I was convinced I was going to marry him someday. I was devastated when I heard of his death.
I hope he's in heaven and no longer in pain - maybe having a drink and a few laughs with River Phoenix and Corey Haim.
Question, how much of him is in Thorn?
80% Landon in the body and 40% in the head
Landon is very vanilla; he immediately inspired nothing in me.
Thorn is brilliant.
I've discovered I can't take anyone being a badass in a fully buttoned polo shirt seriously.
I see what Daz did there. lol! A kind of homage to Michael Landon, he played a WolfMan once. Nice very nice!
I love the name being a nod to Michael Landon's title role in I was A Teenage Werewolf...
I just notice that to get the 20% off a Gift Card, you need to have a minimum 4 Landon add-ons in the cart.
Well, I did my sums and looked at all the available bits and pieces, and I think I'll pass on Landon. Not with March Madness just a week or so away.
Handsome dude. Can always use one of those. The same crew/individual that did Brute's or Christian's skin seems to be the culprit, and Daz should keep on putting them to work for the men. From reading the comments, though, I'm in the minority. Tasha was called too different, and Landon is called too vanilla. He looks like what David could have been and for whom Lucas should have been replaced.
Josh Crockett gives us a real werewolf, of course, [BRAVO!] though I want to see what a lower face projection morph will do to dog him out.
Disappointed that Daz has broken its recent trend of mega-high-def HD add-ons to give us no-def HD, or to be generous, HD veins. I've got veins, Daz. I want faces with pores and lip details. And hands with tendons and skin details. This is as featureless as their first HD add-on release for Victoria and Michael 6.
The clothes in the Pro Bundle will be useful for dressing men who are in the mid to far background, though they look fairly well-made, save the crotch on the Outsider Outfit. I wish they'd solve the endemic collar issue on men's clothes. Collar as morphable add-on prop is my suggestion.
I can think of a lot better uses of Redz' talents than giving us Wolverine's hair, but at least I can understand why they did it.
I love getting a new, handsome, youngish Core man for G8M! Thank you, Daz, for hearing us. Now, once Jhalil shows up I should have the coverage needed on G8M, but one more guy after him sure won't hurt AT ALL.
Now to wait for Divamakeup to show us what he REALLY looks like.
When I was a kid, he came to a car show near here during the seaQuest DSV era. My Dad promised to take me, but reneged on the day of. I don't think I ever forgave him while he was alive. He broke a lot of promises, but that was by far the worst. I think now that if I had met Jonathan Brandis, his death would probably hurt waaaay more than it already did/does. I grew up watching him in It, seaQuest, Ladybugs, NeverEnding Story II, and as Mozenrath on Aladdin. I'd like to think he's happy where he is now, and doing or directing all of the films he wants. In high school, my friend and I talked about and started to make a game starring Jonathan Brandis (some sci-fi time travel thing with a convoluted plot). I read in one of the magazines that fans would steal the nameplate from his dressing room door, so I made a game called "Quest for a Nameplate" where you had to get to his trailer before the security guard got to you. I identified with Lucas Wolenczak so much, and I still do. I've seen his picture recently, I don't remember what I was looking up but he came up and it instantly took me back 25 years. Seeing the Landis hair did the same. I think I'll buy it and do a tribute character.
Thanks to Mada, as usual, for giving us her feature spec promo. And thanks for going the extra mile with the dForce extras. I hope I can button one more top button so my non-cads can wear it too.
yikes, that's alot. thanks
