is there a category option to choose that has all the west park items, I'm considering getting some but there's so many and I've found products that are addons with different names. After watching American Horror Story Asylum the set got my attention, and I bought misc addons to get to Power Up Points. I think I want to start with the basic rooms and such and the textures to make it look new, but I'm not sure if the East Park and West Park are all one or if some are seperate, one East Park I seen was a school while another was part of West Park. mostly I want to add to cart to figure out the price and then go from there as to what I get, I seen a category there during the .99 sale but it seems to be gone now :/

Yea West Park has grown into quite the beast now.

I'll try and simplify it the best I can... West Park is the original set of abandoned/grungy asylum interiors. Parkside is the same thing, but buildings other than the asylum (so the surrounding town) but in the same style.

East Park is clean set of textures, but not the same style. Sadly it's incomplete currently too.

I've also done a few West Park clean textures, which are based off of the originals, so they can be used in before/after renders if you wish.

Hope that clears it up somewhat, if you want further help just post what you're looking to get and I'll let you know if it requires anything else.

Awesome, Thank You, I'm going to go through the catogory and find some things now. And it's not bad that it's not a complete set, it just means that there is more to come :)

Yea, it was never really designed to be 'complete'.. I just develop stuff for it which can be integrated with other existing parts. So all the hallways are modular, and the rooms then fit those, and the lobby connects the hallways together.. etc etc.

So I don't see an end to it just yet, there's still plenty of things to do.

I almost have everything now, i just need the new poses and clothing textures that were newly released as well and as a few other texture sets and the 2 addons for the treatment room. So at least I'm almost caught up now. :)

It never rains but it pours!

Now one of our cats has gone missing and I'm back working weekends to get the website fixed. It's my husband's "cat" as he used to wake him up every morning (with an eye to food). So work is a bit of a relief. Not now though, I'm going to work out where I went in Ireland and Barcelona several years ago so that I can index photos. With a database specialist we have an elaborate system for geo-locating every photo which can be a bit of a pain if it's several years back and a lot of work to fix.

They have X-rayed him but now want a scan because the sticking back together worked so well that the fluid is now in pockets which are hard to find. All this time he is off work but still gets paid - weird things universities. He teaches some areas that nobody else wants to do like databases. I like databases and have spent today getting data ready and read in.

Proof of the pudding tommorrow when I write the code to get it all out.

Found a lovely use for anothre of your items Jack :) Classic Deco Ecletic were a perfect home for Dan and his girl :) Posting the FB cover here as I have the other render of this scene in the monthly :)

    Feelings

He felt her breath even out as she fell asleep, a smile touched his lips as her hair tickled his chin. His eyes lost focus as he rested his chin against her head, her breath warm against his bare shoulder. His mind lost in the memories of the war he has just returned from, while holding the woman who had waited for him to come home.

This started out as just a family photo. I decided that wasn't good enough and made into a painting over the fireplace. I used West Park day room and Holiday Nook.

Thanks! The curious chapel was just what I needed for these dolls - realism with a bit of being off ... :)

...I don't think Jack is going to like what I've been doing to his sets lately. Can't post here because they are part of a monthly challenge that is still going on.

Took today off and did a render. Not good to work all the time. This is San Gimignano in Tuscany - a hill town famous for it's towers which were put up by rival families - Italy was a bit rough back then. With a nice well nearby. The well should have had ivy all over but it didn't come out.

It's Vue. I made the little houses for the town and the towers.

There's a place just outside where you can see all the towers. Up in the town is a beautful church with frescoes, a well in the main place and a lovely town hall - with it's own tower. Last time I went to see the frescoes by Benito Gozzoli on the life of St Augustine in the old Domenican convent and then up the town hall tower. Out the back of the town hall is a small courtyard with a well and family crests. Sometime I will make the courtyard as it is a lovely place.

Oh that would make a really nice set. I like the render you did. I downloaded Vue 11 Infinite PLE, but I have yet to install and play with it. One of these days.

I use wings3D. It works a bit like my head does and it is free. I was trained on CAD apps and Povray which you had to program. My husband reconstructed the local Roman remains in Povray - now used in the museum. There's a Linux version so I can have it at work too along with Blender which I will learn oneday. I found that my husband has Sketchup but I haven't hand much success with it. It seems geared toward modern buildings - I tend to make old ones. It could not do my standard romanesque chapel but I might try the full version to see what that has.

Though I live in a 1930s house - backing onto the local cemetery so it is quiet. The local cats go through to an old footpath for a pee. It is good as they have made it into a sort of arboretum. We have flowering cherries in the bit we overlook and there are a number of sumachs. I used to like walking there but an old lady was mugged at knifepoint visiting her husband's grave so I'm a bit wary now. The gravediggers are nice blokes and one of them has been keeping an eye out for our missing cat. He'd been gone two weeks now. I'm hoping some local students have adopted him as they often miss their own pets.

...I have difficulty looking at h Wings UI for very long because of the poor contrast between the text/graphics and background. When I tired to it a few years ago also felt I was downloading and installing updates to the application more than I was actually modelling with it.

of all the dedicated modelling apps, I really like Hexagon's UI the most, just not the instability that comes with it as well as the poor UV mapping tools.

I've had Hex since it belonged to Eovia it sorta worked then but since version two it always crashes on the second or third function as in load a primitive or simple figure select point ,face or line and crash maybe I'll get to try to move the selection and then crash

Yes. They could do with getting away from the grey background. It's a bit too grey on grey.

One of the reasons I like it is because it has a good Vue export. To model for Vue you need to set all lines to "hard" and use the Vue workaround. This is because Vue has a bug in the way it reads objs. So I have a special folder for remaking things in Vue - I just export and reset the lines and export with the Vue option ticked. For some reason they never seem to have fixed it - which is annoying as I have to pull everything apart, export and remake. It does preserve the UV maps.
