have you seen the barricades renders? (go to rendo and have a look at dixie bathing in the superior river :) )
Dixie as roman beauty at the platea (testrender)
It's probably easier to do than it is to explain clearly in writing, so I intend to do a video at some point when i get the time (I was wanting to do some using GIMP as a lot of people are put off trying postwork because they have the impression you need Photoshop)
***edit*** just to add, you could actually get a similar effect by placing an advanced ambient light in front of every single window (with correct settings of course) but that's waaaaaay too much work in my opinion when you can get this result in 5 minutes of post. ***
Thanks! I do still have Gimp around even though I use Photoshop for that very reason. It helps a lot when converting steps from one program to the other.
Five Brainz deluxe coming up!
Another one using some of Jack's stuff ;)
...but I wanted mine with onions and a white wine dijon mustard. ;-)
Nice! Glad you posted the initial render. It's amazing what the gradients did for the scene. Thanks for showing us the comparison.
Thanks, i thought it made it stand out a bit more. I have been trying to add a little more colour to my stuff lately :).
(which is kinda funny since most of teh layers i used in this were in various shades of gray until i was almost done and then started adding colour back in) If you look at the necklace in the original and then the final picture you will see i didn't colour it back in.
lol, nice render :)
Very nice :)
I was actually just playing around with SickleYield's freebies (ShareCG) Easy Godrays and Impractical Rogue outfit and rendered this, when I realised I'd used your Throne of the Skeleton King (recently acquired in the Halloween Sale) at the backdrop so I thought I'd post it here...
Very nice :)
Thank you and I have a question. Maybe I did something wrong via installation from the zips (what can be possible) or I don`t know. The set of the platea you see in the render is build with the single items from the package so here is what I do not know:
I have added a wall preset, added a room preset and have made a section of the wall invisible so you can open a door and have a look inside the room (also windows) but with making this section invisible also the small wall parts between window and door section was also invisible (no wall there) the solution I have found was to create a trans map and it works but I guess that is not the right way or?

Ohhhh, I hadn't even noticed that. First thing I noticed was the walls and floors, and how the colors changed depending on what section I was focusing on.
Haha, good one Totte.

Not entirely sure I follow - can you post a screenshot?
...here's one from last month's RRRR Challenge featuring GIS Nova.
I really liked that image
I really like the lighting and expressions in this - was one of my favorites in the contest.
.....thank you.
You sure that's "Cista", sista................. :)
Just couldn't resist :)
Nice, the tone/lighting works really well :)
Cuteness makes me smile! :)
Being inspired my "the master of innocent girls with pointy objects", Kim, I just had to do this one, using as I believe one of the earliest West Park ones.
Officer, he went that way!
...yeah, my Leela was like that back during the occupation.
She would come up to a soldier and hold out a grenade, pin intact, and in her innocent childlike voice say she found it while playing. After taking it from her and examining it he'd thank her, pat her on the head, and send her on her way, She would scamper off down the street and around a corner to watch until he went into the nearby HQ Once he was inside, she sent a trigger command and the grenade (on which she bypassed the pin trigger and fuse with a micro radio detonator) would explode.
She liked making things that went *BOOM*, a trait she inherited from her father who was one of Europe's most celebrated pyrotechnicians.
I'll have to work that scene up sometime.
Here is one i did with Degeneration....
Very cool, love the comic book/graphic novel style
lol nice.. question is, can the Officer see the reflection also?
Very cool, love the comic book/graphic novel style
its one of the new features in PP2014, i've done some playing with it.
lol nice.. question is, can the Officer see the reflection also?No he is a policeman. :)
Here is one on Aslan Court, using clothing by the very talented Alfaseed. The scene and the clothes style mesh pretty well I think.
Awesome stuff! What lighting/Camera set up did you use for this?
Wow very nice indeed.. :)
