It felt a little sacrilegious to do F4 and have them just standing around. Jack "The King" Kirby could evoke power like no one else. So I figured I might as well do an action scene.

These are cool. Have you done any of the Inhumans?

Thanks. I did a Black Bolt one a year ago.

Check the link on your Spidey pic. I'm not seeing it.

  • Here's an illustration I did of my character, Moon Wolf (yeah, I know he bears a LOT of similarity to Black Panther and Batman -- oh well, I can live with it). Created using the Noir Style based on Poser renders and clean up in Clip Studio Paint (see my sig for a link to details on my process).

This is awesome! I like that you gave them different colored costumes, although when I saw Sue in yellow I immediately thought she was Crystal (at least for a second).

  • I finally got my computer to manage to iRay render the cover from the Sep 1975 issue of The Human Torch #7. It didn't want to cooperate and well I was distracted by the Thing fascimile product being bundled with the Brute 8 Pro Bundle.

It's OK render considering I used only off the shelf products from the DAZ store some of which, life the Liquide Pack, are being used for flames and expose the limitations whichout bespoke modeling and postwork that a scene like this one would benefit from.

The Human Torch #7 - Fire vs Water!

AWESOME experiment. I do agree with the other poster who said you need to change Namor's head so he's looking at Torch (and I would make the ankle wings bigger). But as an experiment, this is really good. (BTW, I'm pretty sure I've got that comic!)

Try the original post again.  I also posted it up at Rendo and DA if you still can't see it.

Although this is my character, Moon Wolf, I would not blame you for thinking it was Black Pather or a capeless Batman. He's just a character I created to tell some pulp-inspired comic stories set in the 1940s, so the similarities don't bug me (he does have a chest logo, btw, but it's hidden in shadows here). This was created using the Lorez Masked Hero in Poser Pro 11. My process is detailed in the Noir Style Tutorial link in my signtiture.

This is really nice. It looks like it's from a cartoon from the 80s, which is a cool thing! (BTW: Turns out I was having weird Internet issues that prevented it from showing up -- might be related to all the rain we've had this weekend.)

I have problems seeing some images when I'm not my work computer.

Thanks! That's intentional, actually. It's a nod to Crystal when she replaced Sue for a time. It's also why Ben's has a green sheen (as a nod to She-Hulk).

I bough the Manga Style shaders for 3DL recently as I also like the style you have used here.

I'm a fan of those shaders, even though I've hardly had a chance to play with them very much. This particular image was rendered in black and white, then converted to this look in Manga Studio (aka Clip Studio Paint). However, with some work you could get a look similar to this with those shaders... maybe someday I'll give that a try.

That's VERY cool. One of the great things about the FF is that they work even with an occassional replacement to the roster.

Very, VERY cool. I'm a BIG fan of The Shadow (have been for decades). You did an excellent job with the return fire bullet impacts and his muzzle flash. Pose is good, but the cape does look a little stiff (which is something I struggle with every time I do an image with a cape). Really cool stuff here: I can practically hear his mocking laugh trailing away as he rains vengeance upon the evildoers.

  • I made a pwToon version of the Skeletor/Doctor Destiny/Mister Fear/Professor Muerte/Dr. Doom/etc-looking gent and set it up in my Gallery. Let me know what you think: https://www.daz3d.com/gallery/#images/651676/
