Hey, FMSC? Where did you get the U.S Soldiers WW2 era? Are they Poser/Daz figures?

Well, since there was nothing I could find like the Hawkgirl helmet I wanted, I started playing in ZBrush...

this is what I have so far...

Thanks, FMSC. I am still a beginner to ZBrush but I have been an artist all my life.

I am blown away at what can be actually accomplished with it.

I am only now learning retopologizing so it may be a while til I get this offered as a freebie, but that is my intention.

Thanks also for the link the the M4/Apollo GI Joe outfit. I wish there was a more casual version with untucked shirts and rolled up sleeves like there was in the field (Well, like there were in the Sgt. Rock Comics I read, anyway). Maybe that will be my next project. Who knows. :)

Okay, not COMPLETE beginner by any stretch as I have used it for morphs for forever but this is one of my first attempts at modelling something new and the first time I ever used Shadowbox and Panel Loops.

    "Experiment In Terra"

My all-time favorite Teen Titan was never truly a Titan at all. Tara "Terra" Markov was an infiltrator, working all along with Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke the Terminator, to capture the Titans for the nefarious organization called H.I.V.E.

Tara, half-sister of Geo-Force of the Outsiders, was created -- by Marv Wolfman and George Perez -- with the intent that she was irredeemable. A complete sociopath from Day One, she gained the Titans' trust -- and Gar "Changeling" Logan's heart -- all to help Wilson destroy them, and fulfill his late son's contract for H.I.V.E.

I'm not usually one for the "bad girls," but I was a total mark for Terra from the very beginning. And when she met her ultimate fate at the conclusion of the classic "Judas Contract" storyline, I'll admit, I was a little heartbroken. Though not nearly to the extent Changeling was, of course.

    Fantastic job, equinoxx5! Well done.

George Perez and Marv Wolfman's run on Teen Titans is one of my all time favorite series runs.

I so agree... those Comics shapes my Teenage years. About a year or so got to Meet George Perez at Comicon in Phoenix, he autographed my Teen Titans # 1-3 and drew me a headshot of Starfire, I cherish those all so much more now, I was so Geeking out LOL

Very well done - what did you use for the wristbands, boot tops for Terra?

Thank you! It may be just a little bit obvious that it's one of my favorite runs, as well. ;)

Thanks; glad you enjoyed it. The collar, belt, wrist and boot cuffs are props I made in Hexagon. The boots are Tyler McDowell's Wonder Woman boots modified with a transmap, and the rest is the V4 Bodysuit.

Hadn't done much in the superhero genre for a while...but now that my kids are interested in superheroes, this is probably the first of quite a few...

The costume isn't the most authentic, I know (I took the easy way and used one of RawArt's Hero Factory presets for the Supersuit). But it does serve its purpose.

    Excellent!!

Going really obscure here: Micro Ventures.
Micro Ventures ran briefly as an animated segment on the Hanna-Barbara Banana Splits show. The 4 minute segments were about Professor Carter and his teenaged kids Mike and Jill who used a shrink ray to shrink themselves and their dune buggy to get a bug sized view of the world. The threats tended to be distant ones as the Prof lectured his kids on bug life to downplay how the Professor would transform the safety of the yard for his kids into an alien jungle looming with the threat of fatal encounters with any of the thousands of giant insect monsters out there. It could not compete with the thrills and action of the show's other segments and lasted only 4 short episodes. I think with a little reformatting to up the thrill factor, it might have enjoyed great success.

    thanks a lot.

It's neither M4 or genesis : it's a low res game model pose in XNA and rendered in poser. With a lot of postwork after to give a better look.
The post work process would be quite long to describe : I made a plane render and overpaint a lot of things : lights, shadows, dirty, scratches, fog,...
The background is a separate render.
I made colors/contrast correction and use some filter
At the end I usually have between 10 and 20 layers in Gimp.

Oh, so that's why the armor looked familiar. It's from the Arkham games :)

Yep, I remember Micro Ventures. Came out about the same time as another animated show with a miniaturization theme, Filmation's adaptation of Fantastic Voyage. Maybe MV would have lasted a little longer if, instead of the dune buggy, they had a flying submarine.

Here's my latest WIP. Not 100% "page accurate," but hopefully the intent is clear...

I think I actually remember that because I had cousins named Mike and Jill! I like the render, nice and action packed and the vehicle coming off the ground is a nice touch to give it "oomph." Glad I'm not in it!

Here is a Wonder Woman image I have been playing around with for a friend who uses her for her OC over on DA, hence the short hair.

My Old School Superman with a little modern attitude.
The heat vision effect was not done in post-work but was created "in render" with DA Glowing Eyes and Superbeams.
