Has anyone ever made a Hawkman and Hawkgirl Helmet for DAZ figures or Poser?

Was working on one awhile back, nut never had time to finish it. If anyone wants the obj to finish it they are more than welcome, just PM me.

I agree with RAMWolff, just give it some material zones and some textures and it would be great to have as a freebie! :)

Cage used to have some that were hosted on phantom3d.net, but phantom3d looks like it went down at some point. You might find him in the Renderosity forums and inquire.

And then there was a guy on the old Animotions whose name escapes me. He also did a great modern Adam Strange and a bunch of other stuff, M3 era. It wasn't Vadlor or Muskateer. Maybe GhostofMacbeth remembers?

Douglas Shuler, I bet is the one your thinking of Joe. I know for a fact he created a Hawkgirl helmet because he models his own stuff when he needs to. Here's where he used his own Hawkgirl helmet: http://www.douglasshuler.com/Gallery_jla.htm

It wasn't that guy, I'd forgotten about that guy. Let me get off my duff, go into the other room, and power up my big computer and see if I have the files still.

I think it was a guy who went by a "real name" as opposed to some kind of fancy handle though.

Then there was Marvel1 (right?) who did all the ultimates stuff, and that other guy who did boat loads of stuff for the old P4 figures, and had them spread out on little pages all around the internet, Hasdrubal? And there was Chris with his Wonder Woman and Tyler McDowell with another.

Yeah, no they're not, posting them was more just an exercise in nostalgia.

But with the Hawkman helmet, I'm pretty sure he just took a portion of someone's head geometry, reshaped it, and stuck some early Poser wings on the sides.

I think your right, Joe. Those look like Thor wings to me.

Ok, I think it's a safe bet we need a Hawkman and Hawkgirl helmet available as freebies.

Indeed it is! Well looks like FSMC has Hawkman covered with his excellent model once someone sets up mapping for it. As to the Hawkgirl mask, I just read over at Heromorph that DrunkenDragon will be making his Hawkgirl mask available in HM's download section in a few days once he gets it ready.

Wasn't there another artist at the same time, same place doing a lot of the JSA, as well as Adam Strange, Charles something-or-other? I have his Adam Strange in my current runtime, but I'll have to go back and dig through some ancient CDs to find his others.

I actually did six X-Men for a scene in this short.

    that was hilarious! OMG! :-)

that was truly hilarious, I am huge X-Men fan but one with a sense of humor, parody is the greatest act of love and appreciation of something ;) More please.

    Thanks a lot! :)

I was hoping Joequick might get a chance to see it here since one of his models makes an appearance!

I'm working on a new animation now. It's primarily 2D, but there's going to be a special CGI appearance by a some Justice Leaguers. So definitely will be looking for some costumes! :)
