On another note I got an email from the Wayne Foundation. I did not read it, but the title of it said "We Have A Private Donation For You" but my thoughts were why would Bruce Wayne help me. Then I thought is there a Bruce Wayne? Really? I also thought since it is in my spam box, it might be spam. I checked the email address Bruce Wayne used and it was a jp address.

It is quite addictive that oxygen nitrogen based air. One whiff of it and you are addicted for life. I thought of quitting but I hear it is harder to quit that stuff than cigarettes. I think I heard ones addicted to cigarettes are also addicted to this oxygen nitrogen based air.
Non-complaint: Busy week coming up. Tomorrow (Saturday) it's a mini-adventure to Erie, PA for a rock and mineral show. No plans to buy anything but it's a gathering of people who know rocks, minerals and gems and I have a few in my collection that I don't know what are. I'm figuring somebody there might be able to identify them for me. Of course, I will be mesmerized the the "ooh, shiney" things I will see there but I'm really not in the market for anything right now. Unless I see something that I simply can not live without.
While in Erie I will take the opportunity to visit the BestBuy electronics department and have lunch at Outback Steakhouse. Mmmm... Yum!

Alexander Gavrylyuk (gav-rill-yuck) will be playing the Brahms 1st Piano Concerto. It promises to be a marvelous night. However, bad weather could dampen the festivities a bit. The Amphitheater is covered but it's a long walk from the parking lot to the amphitheater. I have my ticket already so I HAVE to go regardless of weather. I'm really looking forward to hearing how Gavrylyuk plays Brahms. He's incredible playing Rachmaninoff so I hope that his power, dynamicism and mastery of melody translates over into his renditions of Brahms.
Brahms: Piano Concerto #1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kD7TsD3p40w (piano comes in at 3:40; 2nd movement begins at 22:48; 3rd movement at 35:15) The piano in this piece, when played properly, is very lilting. Smoothly gliding & dancing through the melodies. I checked out several of the YouTube clips of this piece by various performers and was disappointed by the hesitant or clipped feeling of those performances. However I did find that the one (linked above) by Emanuel Ax is pretty good. But, my favorite performer of this piece was, and still is, Alfred Brendel who I heard 30 years ago at the Kennedy Center. It still brings me to tears at points in both the 1st, and the 3rd movements. Unfortunately I couldn't find a video of Brendel playing it, just this recording. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9H6oisgQNQ . Alfred Brendel is one of those performers who doesn't engage in a lot of histrionics & theatrics, grimaces and gyrations of his arms & body while playing. I think that helps the listener to concentrate on the music instead of the musician. Performers like Alexander Gavrylyuk and Lang Lang are good, but when watching them up close as in videos I have to look away or close my eyes. I don't care that they emote with their body, it apparently helps them play very well, but sometimes it's distracting and causes me to stop listening and concentrate on the antics.
Major Non-Complaint: OMG! I just checked the actual webpage for the Chautauqua concert on Thursday July 12 and the repertoire has changed!!! Gavrylyuk will apparently not be playing the Brahms 1st piano concero but will instead be playing the Rachmaninoff 2nd piano concerto. I'm much more excited about hearing him play the Rachmaninoff 2nd live. I've heard his recording of it but missed his live performance here at Chautauqua several years ago and now he's repeating it here again. Yea!
Rachmaninoff: Piano Concerto #2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNyQz7SiPQY The reason for my love of Rachmaninoff's piano concertos is the power of the melodies. Properly performed the melodies grab your attention and carry you up hills, sliding down through valleys, speeding up, slowing down, accelerating around corners and you hold on, willingly anticipating the notes that you know are coming as the melody track glows in your mind like luminous rails of a rollercoaster in the dark ahead of you.
2nd movement begins at 13:05; As typical with the 2nd movement of a concerto it is slow and gentle. A little excitment in the middle of it but it generally it is a time to relax your brain from the power of the first movement and to prepare for the power and emotion of the 3rd movement.
3rd movement begins at 25:50; A little excitment at the beginning of this movement then it smooths out until it starts to flood you with its melodies. Beginning at 28:24 the theme melody is probably one of the most recognized. Typical of Rachminoff the finale at the end of the 3rd movement beginning at 35:10 races and grows to the end leaving you and the pianist breathless.

You need to fire your insurance! Maybe there is a "network" of doctors that are favored in your insurance coverage. I'd look into that. You may need to see different doctors.

I feel like if I said, "I had a purple lollypop today." it would be interpreted as "I do not want to clean my room today." o,0 I did not say "I do not want to clean my room today" but I did say "I had a purple lollypop today." Now I have to tell the person in charge of the group of homes I live in that "I had a purple Lollypop today." and that does not mean "I do not want to clean my room today." Maybe I should not eat purple lollypops as that brings up too much confusion.

No I was talking to them in person. I am confused too. I kept saying I had a purple lollipop but that got missunderstood like usual.
Software misreads computer temperature and fan speeds. Other software shows normal temperature and fan speeds.
If that was accurate it would be a molten mess.

my big mistake was the roomate i chose. thought an older woman was the smart choice. was nice til i woke up 1 morning and her 5 kids were living in the living room. they started a stove fire cooking mini weiners.
i couldnt live anywhere that didnt allow buppies. still have hope 1 day could take in another buppy from a doom place.
i should go out for a pretend buppy walk, get my legs into shape. meet and greet some neighborhood buppies.
mebbe 1 will follow me home.
Better yet go to the Buppy place and take one for a real walk.. Where I live they are happy to have you do that even if you can't adopt one right now.
The shelters here are begging for volunteers to walk and play with the dogs. Maybe there is a shelter near your busline. Or another volunteer would give you a ride over to visit them
