It looks like Rodrigo (once again) has no "no stubble" option. Has anyone gotten him to confirm that there isn't a secret stubble-free option left off the product page?

Also has anyone used the new rigged water yet? It looks really interesting, but not sure how things like the shower head actually work (since intersecting with the body before simulation would cause explosions in my experience).

Awesome 30% of Featured Artists.  Too bad Stonemason isn't on the list I would of dropped $100 easily if he was.

This sale did bring me the opportunity to request partial refund for the difference in price.  Should get about $25.00 back after I submit the request(s)

[Question]: When submitting the refund requests, if they are spread out over 7 different orders, should I send in one (1) ticket for each order or can they be combined into one refund request.

I've successfully combined orders for refunds. I put all the order numbers in the field for order number, separated by a semi-colon. Same with order id and paypal transaction id. (Although I only had two orders.) And then I used a new paragraph from each order, listing the item(s), what I paid, what the difference is and the exact amount I should have refunded for that order. If you've done the work for them, all they need to do is check your math. Ive seen some refunds a penny less than my calculations, but I don't have the numbers to 4 decimal digits, either.

Screenshots are helpful, too. I'd stick with screenshots of the cart with better prices, just one if you can manage it. They have access to your orders and can see what you actually paid, so I don't believe you need images of your seven order emails!

I honestly think CS would rather process all 7 refunds via a single ticket than one per 7 tickets, as long as you're specific about each order.

Good luck, and be patient. I expect today's offer is going to swamp CS.

Ugh, I just purchased a bunch of Emma & Jordi stuff two days ago and other stuff from the featured PAs and have to go through all my purchases for the last 30 days and do all that math, hunt down the screenshots, Paypal receipts...  This is such a pain, hours of work. . Lesson to self - never buy PA stuff unless there's an extra deal on it, They are just training us to hold off until a bigger better deal comes along.

Which is why, imo, they finally caved and gave us the bigger discounts. I know I haven't been buying much from anyone's back catalog. 50% just isn't enough incentive to buy older products with all these new toys—I mean, tools!—coming out. I can't afford all the new releases I want, so why would I dip into my budget for older products without big incentives? (That's just me, but I don't think I'm alone in that thinking.)

Not alone at all. I've spent $35 this whole sale. and wishlisted a whole bunch of things.

I had about $40 in M4 / V4 items in my cart this morning.  I decided to give it some thought and went about my day.

I just bot Wild Wind Hair for Genesis 8 Female(s), Joyous Spring, Accents Fall for Genesis 8 Female(s), Kick Scooter for a total of $9.07.  I realized that I don't use M4 or V4 anymore since buying Gen 8, so why should I spend money on old items I won't use!  My attempts at putting V4 clothes on V8 characters has never worked and I am not going to spend much time trying to make it work.

Yeah, my purchases have been pretty meager too. The qualifying items have been to expensive to justify the shallow discounts for other content this sale. March Madness has been a non-event this year compared to years past.

  • donovancolbertdonovancolbert Posts: 1,421

Although @ItsCeo seems to have put together a good cart at an awesome price. How did you find these items? Why are they show cheap? I'm not seeing any explaination on any of the sales pages for why these are so deeply discounted.

One shows as free, the others are new PC+?

    Yes.

The PC+ items ItsCeo bought are not in MM, so there are no additional discounts. And the Scooter is this week's free item.

  • L'AdairL'Adair Posts: 9,479

I went through my orders for the past 30 days and found there isn't a single item I purchased that would qualify for a refund with today's 30% offer. My orders contain new releases, free with purchase, $20 coupon (x2), and so on. There is one Stonemason product I got as Related Item, and one really old DO from The Antfarm I picked up for a $1+, neither are part of the deal. Just underscores what I said earlier about not using my budget for older products…

Almost the same here. I only found two items that were a lower price with today's deal.

Also it should be noted that if you are requesting a refund because of the lower price you need to show CS that you purchased two of today's Newly Mad items so that you would qualify for the lower price.

I'm not sure how one could successfully shop here without ATI's plug-in letting you know that you already have all or the majority of that bundle that is on super discount, already.

I'd be re-buying stuff I already own all the time, otherwise.

The plug in is the only reason to use Chrome in my book

    It works on firefox.

I'm thinking of changing back to Firefox, as I hate Chrome so much. Does it work with Firefox Quantum?

Anyone getting horrible download speeds in DIM? I'm trying to figure out if it's a daz problem or ISP problem?

I'm at 2.5MB/s at the moment. Sometimes it goes up to 10ish, sometimes it's below 1. Only 11 more gigs to download... :D

If I'm just shopping in general (not chasing a particular sale), I hit 'shop', scroll down past sales and 'what's hot' and there's like 29K items.  First I hit dropdown 'figure' and choose Gen 8 only.  Next, filter 'Price - low-high'.  Sometimes I hide PC+, sometimes I only look at wishlist, but usually once I get to 'price - low-high' it's pretty easy to see what I want to buy that I might have overlooked or is on super sale.

  • donovancolbertdonovancolbert Posts: 1,421

Nah, I keep forgetting that PC+ are where the best deals are hiding lately, not the promotional sales. ;)

Yeah, it's full price for me too.

Be warned, that jacket isn't rigged - you have to rig it yourself to be able to use it. I was really tempted to get it until I saw this thread: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/242826/what-s-up-with-the-black-leather-jacket

I was STILL tempted to get it to see if I could figure out how to rig it and then maybe post a tutorial on how to do that for others, but at full price - not likely going to take the risk at that price.

Huge thanks for that heads up! I don't have time to rig content ATM... Still a great looking jacket. Thanks again @Divamakup

I got it early this morning and didn't even pay attention to the "FBX" on the front. I'm so used to vendors using all kinds of acronyms and abbreviations. I thought it was one of those. That's what happens when you shop before coffee!

No no, I totally thought that the "FBX" was a vendor moniker too. They really need to make it clear in the product's title that it's an unrigged item, imo.

My download speed was 6mb at the slow time yesterday, it's normally 10-13mb but can go as high as 25. I just did the starter essentials  just now because you got me curious.(How many new ones of those are we going to get? I did them all day before yesterday, then they redid them yesterday, and now redid them again today.) So right now the download speed is 23.3MB but it was jumping back and forth into the upper teens too.

I hate it when I buy something and it turns out to be for Poser only, or Bryce... or whatever...

It should really be in flashing neon lights and mentioned several times when content is not designed for DAZ 3D. I mean, on Renderosity I'm used to being cognizant of the possibility that things aren't DAZ compatible... but here, it is kind of assumed.
