The Bonus Mad Offer changed at DAZ midnight. This is the new Bonus Mad Offer: https://www.daz3d.com/industrial-storage-unit-interior But not to worry; that dForce dress and texture will probably be offered again in the Final Catchup
On the main March Madness page, both the dress and the industrial storage unit are shown as bonus items, so I believe more than 1 can be active at a time. So it should be getting the 70% off
Oh, OK. I didn't see the dress but that could be because I already purchased it yesterday.
It has to be a New item...
It isn't just you. I just tried putting the dress and the textures in the cart and got the same thing and I busted the budget today. There was a third item I bought earlier, that rang up correctly. Of course I didn't actually want the dress, so taking it back out of the cart didn't tear me up :P
I just bought the Striga ensemble, new today. I'm thinking the discounts should work. Maybe I'll wait till tomorrow and see if it rings up right.
Three weeks and counting with the same "Biweekly" freebies.
This seems to be fixed now.
Me too, and no 70% off. Then I added one of the Featured items from the bottom of the sale page, and its price went up. Bounced back and forth between cart and sale page a few times, and the proper discounts eventually appeared. So it's just the cart losing the ability to count again — nothing new there. <headdesk>
Agreed. I sat this one out. Especially with no guarantee the next sale will not be as conservative as this one.
I usually buy several hundred dollars in Gift Cards when they are discounted, but not this time. This insipid sale may turn out to be a serious business error for Daz, if you go by the downturn in posts on the forums, compared to every other sale period I've seen. If that reflects in sales figures, then this can't be good for shareholders.
Thanks, Richard! It's looking good now!
@Charlie Judge
I think, they've changed it to 'Monthly freebies' now
For Poser content: so long as you don't move anything under Runtime/Geometries, and Runtime/Textures, you should be fine (caveat: not so for freebies that put the texture files in the same folder as the .cr2/.pz2/etc files). You can reorganise Runtime/Libraries/standard sub-folders as much as you like (so putting hair from Libraries/Props into Libraries/Hair for example.
For DS content: Don't touch anything under the Content/Data or Content/Runtime folders. But you can make whatever subfolders of Content you like (except don't put stuff in 'Readme' that is actual content).
^In all other instances, DS is able to see the user-facing content in any folder (Poser format under a poser-mapped content directory, and DS format under a DS-mapped content directory).
FYI: Stonemason is indeed a 'he' ;)
QFT. I've bought $400 of discounted gift cards at 15-20% in one sale before in the past. This time, I'm not sure I want a $201 gift card I paid $175 for with two content items I don't want for free if the next sale is so poorly discounted I wouldn't buy the content otherwise, anyhow.
I agree about the lack of traffic in the forum - too. It is a gauge, and it says there wasn't a lot of interest in this sale. Here is the thing... I *really* think that terrible glitch during the Christmas sale where G3 content was pennies on the dollar got the PAs screaming bloody murder at DAZ and they're trying to make that up... OR show the PAs what it can be like if the consumers really just close their wallets. Most of us aren't pros, we're not doing this for a living, and we will just go without rather than paying $58 for a discounted pro package or $150 for it at "list" price. Either way... at the end of this I think that DAZ and the PAs will both be going, "Well, that isn't the kind of numbers we expect a March Madness to net." I sure hope so, anyhow.... because otherwise... I'm going to have to find some other hobby to blow all my discretionary income on.
And I have a lot of discretionary income- and some other hobbies I've been neglecting, too.
@Silent Winter
Thank you... that was helpful and useful information...
I may have broken some /Content folders today... :/
And I finally got the gender identity of a PA right! Happy me! :D
From chatting with people in emails and some in PMs, people are indeed buying. I know I am, because I recognize that 50% is a good deal, and I can usually find two things that I like, or I just wait. I have to say kudos to the vendors for the variety we are getting, there's a mixture of sets, utility products, characters, hair, etc. While I'm not spending like I would if it were 60%+ off, I've still bought several things. But I agree, it's not a whoop with joy type sale.
It's like anything else, contented people don't chat much, but not-so-happy folks are more vocal. (Note I didn't say complainers, I don't view someone's personal perspective as wrong, or complaining.)
Items I have bought (some of them) are Military GP (the details look amazing!) today, Little Pastry Shop, Elliandra, Sienna, Romantic Pool, Spring Thaw Snowman (adorable!)- and things from the stores plus the 70% discounted item for buying a new product. Fast Grab has been good too for a couple of characters (Raine and Amber.) I got bits and pieces of the Aiko Pro Bundle, used them to get further discounts that required new items, and came out ahead. I didn't want a lot of the bundle, would never use it.
Curious as to what the rest of you folks have bought?
Just a bit of clarification on the free with purchase offers for buying the Ollie 8 Pro bundle and X number of Addons: You get one free product based on the total number of Addons you purchase.
The adcopy should say "or"...
Buy 2 Ollie 8 add-ons to get an extra 10% OFF* those add-ons & the Ollie 8 Pro Bundle AND choose one of the following base characters for FREE*
[scrolling banner] and link
OR
Buy 3 Ollie 8 add-ons to get an extra 20% OFF* those add-ons & the Ollie 8 Pro Bundle AND choose one of the following starter bundles for FREE*

Buy 4 Ollie 8 add-ons to get an extra 30% OFF* those add-ons & the Ollie 8 Pro Bundle AND choose one of the following pro bundles for FREE*
I'm not getting the correct discount on today's bonus offer Madeline for Genesis 8 Female.
For me the free pro bundle with purchase of Ollie 8 pro PLUS 4 add-ons isn't working. The "free" pro bundle is full price for me in cart.
The Forest Guardian Outfit and Zackyr are part of the pro bundle. You need 4 Ollie related addons found at the bottom of his page.

Haha I just figured it out, duh! Silly me :D
Madeline isn't discounting as the bonus offer.
She isn't discounting for me either.
Reporting Madeleine. I show 65% and not 70%, is that what you guys see?
Madeline comes out to $8.36 in my cart, 55% off only.
It's only a guage of the people who are posting on the forums. I personally see it a lot during the PC Anniversary sale.. the comments that people post (which are usually more critical/negative) have no correlation to how the sale is actually performing. Most people don't use the forums.. so it's kinda misleading to judge everything by this little bubble.
I did.
As there was only one item to buy in, and fortuneately one item I was curious about, I bought a biggy; shame they didn't offer 25% for a big spend, I might have gone just slightly further.
I'm only seeing a total of 56%, which is just the DO discount, the intro discount and the 10% off discount. The 70% off is missing.
