No, I picked up on my old hobby some two years ago, when they sold Poser 11 at a real bargain; I haven't been a PC member since, I guess, somewhere around 2009, and from my monthly hobby budget there's maximum $15,- left till april; like I mentioned, I really can't afford to spend a lot at my current situation. Already spent a lot more than I should have during last months generation 4 blowout sale; still have a lot of new old stuff to play with. I'm not all that disappointed that this year's March Madness, with its focus on buying the latest stuff, was not really down my alley; didn't have the budget to enjoy a really great sale anyway.
Maybe they want to do something irrational to justify the ‘madness’ tag.
Ugh. We’re reaching the end of the month and the end of my gift card, where I think hard about whether I can afford both Esha’s beautiful set _and_ the stylized boy they’ll certainly release next week. (Well: certainly if I spend the rest of my budget beforehand.)
I've got a newly mad and a still mad item in my cart, but before I commit to this I want to make sure that this is the correct discount. For clarity: I am a PC+ menmber, but I don't own Aiko 8. But shouldn't both these be 50% off?
Wizard Apprentice Outfit isn't "still mad" anymore, the 51% comes from regular intro price + PC+ discount.

Just a hint on how to see what you are missing (of course this only works if you know that the whole Bonus item concept exists): if you look at the main store page and there's a DAZ Original which appears near the top, isn't listed on the MM sale page and is only 51% off not 58% if you are a PC+ member (or is only 30% off not 40% off if you're not a member) then chances are it's a Bonus item.
ETA: Of course I agree that this is a really non-intuitive marketing strategy!

The description is one line that explains what the pictures already tell, and the renders... is it just supposed to be super thick glass causing the distortion? Is it telling me that the sheets are d-force ready or that they have modeled poses, because, I can do that d-force modeling of a sheet with a primitive and a shader-preset...
I feel like this is happening a *lot*, lately. That kind of inattention to detail on the promos makes me wonder how much effort was put into the content itself.

Not to mention, when I first got into buying content on DAZ, based on the promos and the lack of detail, I'd expect the space background to be included in the content. There is no "additional content" list that explains that you can't render the scenes you see in the promos without buying additional content.

No. Not just you. In fact, some of us were discussing the same issue not too long ago. It sure seems like we're seeing more and more products getting released where the "Details" contains nothing more than the name of the product.
As for feeling cheated when it isn't made clear that the background in the promos isn't included with the set, I know how you feel. If the same background is used in every promo for a product, how can we be blamed for thinking it comes with the product? Especially when there are other products that do include the background. It's a simple thing to ask, that there be a description of at least a couple of sentences. And that when appropriate, it also states in the description, "Background not included."

And yet again, the sale page coding has so many bells, whistles, gongs, kazoos, whoopee cushions etc. it's interfering with basic store page functions. I can't click on the little blue man to access the menu. It works on every other page in the entire store, but not on the sale page.
I have to keep saying it, because it happens so often; what are they teaching people in web design classes these days?
Edit: and something else got broken, I just noticed the "stuff in your cart" indicator isn't showing anything. Again, only on the sale page.
It goes one step beyond that. Because it's not (apparently) loading your information, you won't see the 70% off bonus products, either.

Well, I have to say, I'm underwhelmed with this sale. Not with the products, just the sale itself. 55% off straight through, no stacking, this weekend's catch-up sale doesn't even have the $20 off all Daz Originals like it did before, and I already own all the old free stuff I want. I'm sure I'll see the items now sitting in my cart as part of a flash sale for 60% off or in Fast Grab and it might be within 30 days and then I have to write a ticket which is a pain, or it will happen right after 30 days and I'll be kicking myself...
I keep saying I already own so many products I could render something different every day for the rest of my life but then I keep finding more and more I want to get and I pile up my cart then go "Whoah! How did THAT happen?!" And ween it down to a handful of items or less. But if the discounts were higher, I'd be buying more items, and although it wouldn't make a difference to Daz, it would sure help the PAs because I, and I'm sure most people, would be buying more from a larger number of PAs, so although they would be getting a smaller percentage, their products would have a better chance of being sold. I hate having to keep culling down my cart and there are many items that I've wanted to get for a while, but there are other things I want more, so their product gets cut. If prices were lower, I would have purchased it. Actually if the DISCOUNT was lower, I'd especially buy it because you want to catch a great deal, but at 55% off, I'm just like meh...
I'm conflicted between imagining the page loading with a <whee-whee-wheeeee> sound or a loud and fruity <thrrrppp>...
...or possibly a car-failing-to-start noise followed by an expensive-sounding <clunk>.
It's not even that, if you didn't buy the qualifier used to get the extra discount. So it's only 50% for those of us who passed on the Aiko 8 pro bundle. And, yeah, I might buy a lot of things, but I keep thinking how I don't really need this or that right now, so why not put it in my wishlist and wait a couple of months. Maybe there'll be a Flash Sale at 60, or even 70 percent off, or a build your own bundle promo. And if it's a DO, it could be free when I purchase something else I want.
There really hasn't been much of anything "mad" about March Madness. IMO, of course.

The products are there. I am not concerned. I just was pointing out that it is not listed under R in the alphabetical list on the Catch up page. Since Daz watches this thread, it seemed the easiest way to point it out.

I hate it when this happens. I bought that lovely evening dress yesterday, because I had a great idea and now it's $2 cheaper! At least I can get my two bucks back. I really should learn to wait on the weekends.
If you wait, sometimes you get a worse deal. It's sort of a gamble, but the refund policy makes it fair.
Okay is it just me or did the Sienna Bundle disappear? I am overlooking it? And the pages (like Sienna) don't show the bundle at the bottom either.
Remember this weekend DO PC+ items are in the catch-up sale when you buy 2 or more

Not that I was interested in purchasing it this weekend, but thought people would like to know in case they were going to buy it.
edit: Hmmm. It's not actually broken; just doesn't show up on the main page but it does show in the cart?
Actually, right now there are a number of PC+ items that aren't showing the PC+ discount on the main sale page but the discount still shows up in your cart.
