Managed to kill off all the bondage archer chicks, now being accosted by goat-men, lightning throwing skeletons, and women with lances in leather body harnesses wearing head-covering horned masks.  Never a dull moment, for sure!

Time for a beer, some kind of feed, and Cupcake Wars.. gives me a whole new appreciation as to how hard a simple cupcake can be to bake!!

Non-complaint: It took overtime but DUKE WINS!

...cheeky  yeah over a college (unranked) that is better known for its football programme than basketball. Letsee what happens when they meet up with the likes of 'Nova, Arizona, MSU, or Kansas.

Meanwhile in College Football it is down to Bama and Wisconsin being the only major undefeteads left with the Cane's loss on Friday. With a Badgers win tomorrow it would be the first time in 105 years they finished the regular season undefeated. Should the Badgers go on to defeat Ohio State in the Big Ten Championship, there whould be no question whether they belong in the playoff for the national championship.

When I was a kid in the '50s my mother had an Electrolyte.  God awful heavy horizontal tank type vacuum cleaner with heavy cloth and metal hoses and metal attachments.  It would kill you if it slid down the stairs onto you, as she warned me as I watched her vacuum. surprise

Oh,... wait,... it was an Electrolux.  Never miind. blush

That was back when machines were machines, and could be repaired over and over and could last a hundred years.  And when they did die they had a second life as boat anchors. yes  The one below is from the '40s and I found the image on eBay.  So that's what... 70 years?

Satyrday!  Groceries will arrive between Noon and two pm, I suppose I should get dressed even though my pjs look like execise pants and a long sleeve shirt.  Chicken sausage in the air fryer, yum!  Irish breakfast tea for sipping.

Diablo II is a huge game - multiple CDs worth - and I'm not even 1/4 of the way through, and then there's the expansion pack.  I have enough scantily-clad well-armed women to keep me busy for a while!  It's the chick that's half spider and half human at the end of this section that worries me, she's deadly.

Complaint: Slept funny because I forgot to close my window last night and I got cold.  Hooray for aspirin!

Non-complaint: Cheese delivery in not too long!

My wife just bought me an air fryer yesterday after I was telling her what you said about it. She also watched some videos on it and thought it was cool and can be very useful.

Excellent!  May you have many years of frytastic fun!  I recommend regular olive oil for fry duties, just a touch.  I'll be experimenting with cooking stuffing in mine this afternoon. :)

70f outside, obnoxiously sunny.  No chill temps until next Friday., upper 70f's from now until then.  I would actually enjoy some cool air...

Yeah, the videos we watched said to use olive oil as well. I'm excited to get it.

Sounds like it could make some very calorie lite meals.  I can't imagine fried air would be very heavy on the waistline.

Non-complaint: Munster, Provolone, Colby Jack, and Cheddar.  Veggie chips, parmesan pita chips, hummus. :)

It sure didn't look like it from the videos. The only fat used was olive oil.

Hmmm... I don't know..., every olive I ever saw was pretty roly-poly. surprise

  • Ghaaa...., I'm out of paper.  Print queue stacking up and I'm out of paper.  And snow's coming tomorrow.  I don't want to make a run to the city in the snow to just get paper.  Complaint worthy?

Use extra virgin olive oil. It is however 119 calories per tablespoon. You don't need much however. That, I believe is on of the healthiest oil. Olive oil is 14% Saturated fats, Polyunsaturated is 9%, and monounsaturated.

You should both be aware that Windows 7 (and 8.1 in the future) won't run on some newer processors.  So if you want to upgrade an older computer or build a new one and run an older version of Windows on it, beware of this.  This was known 2 years ago.  Article here:  Why Windows 7 Won't Work On Intel's Current and Next Gen CPUs

    The pull-quote gives some reasoning:

“Windows 7 was designed nearly 10 years ago before any x86/x64 SOCs existed. For Windows 7 to run on any modern silicon, device drivers and firmware need to emulate Windows 7’s expectations for interrupt processing, bus support, and power states, which is challenging for WiFi, graphics, security, and more. As partners make customizations to legacy device drivers, services, and firmware settings, customers are likely to see regressions with Windows 7 ongoing servicing.”

And it won't be restricted only to Intel CPUs, either.  AMD and Qualcomm have said they're going to do something similar.

Of course, if you never ever upgrade your PC and never ever buy a new one, then you won't be affected.  wink

I had a turkey sandwich for lunch.  With Three Alarm Cheese, onions, tomatoe, and some sort of stone-ground mustard.  Oooh, that was good.

Only about 1.5 hours to go on the soup!
