I use a mixture of carrots parsnip and swede
I still keep two Dell 8100 WinXP machines here at home. Every now and then I like to break out my old Myst games and some of them don't run well on newer machines.
Those Dell machines are well built and could have a tolerable good second-life as a boat anchor for a small boat. Or some evil techie on TV could use it to keep bodies at the bottom of the lake.
Complaint: Arghhh..., I just reached for the towel in the bathroom and twisted my back.
Another week of hobbling around with my cane.
Sympathies. As someone with a lifetime of back troubles (2 ruptured lumbar disks, etc.) I can feel your pain. Feel better soonest!
I know the feeling. I have severe back issues and that kinda stuff kills me and I'm down for a few days.
I've had 5 back surgeries since 2004. The spinal fusion was the worse. I also have arthritis and degenerative disks. I have osteoarthritis in all my joints. The only things that were spared atm is my right knee and my left hip.
Owwwwwwwwwwww! Feel better soonest!
I hope doesn't take long to heal up!

Fancy bus! I've been on observation train cars and it's really cool, but I've never seen a bus like that before. Cool!
i've never met a parsnip
without my cane i'd fall down a lot
Parsnips are really good.
Geebus dude! {{{{{{{{ frank }}}}}}}}
I don't have enough spare cash to buy everything that I want during the black Friday sale. I'll wait for another sale to spend $$$. lol

Maybe they will have a cyber Monday sale like they did last year. I know pretty much everyone online runs one. I'll be keeping an eye on Amazon

My budget is already $200 over drawn for the month and I don't get my check for 3 and a half more weeks. I'm going to be spending a lot of days indoors with my credit card locked up safely away from DAZ and on-line auctions.
My monthly budget hasn't been balanced for 6 months. Resolving that is going to be my New Year's Resolution.
enlightenment in a scifi background, feels confusing
i'm confused between Bhudda and Confusius. and Siddhartha.
they all seem to give up all worldly possessions?
I am so tired but I am also still hungry.
The whole concept here is that attachment to the world causes woe and will trap you in the cycle of reincarnation. That might have worked a few thousand years ago, nowadays try living off the land with no possessions and see how long you last.
It's a good concept, it just needs some work to fit into modern days.
Buddah and Siddhartha thought along similar lines, some consider them to be th same person. Confucius was more of a philisopher than spiritual guru.
I'm not sure any of the three would last a week nowadays...
Where did the shark go?
Skeleton archers, ugh. Pincushion time again. :(
Trying to reach the spider demoness but she's at the bottom of the dungeon. Fighting through the two jail levels.. trying to figure out why a monastery has a 2-level underground jail..that seems a bit weird... anyway it's full of some serious enemies! Well, it's something to do during laundry.
Black beans mixed with sausage and diced green chilis, so tasty. Rest of the yam cooking. Ugh. Feeling flat. :|
Boo!
That sounds fantastic. I haven't had black beans in a while.
It's actually incredibly easy to fix. Partially drain one 18oz can of black beans and put them in the air fryer cookpot. Add one tablespoon of butter, one small can diced green chiles (I use Old El Paso brand), chop 3-6 brown and serve breakfast sausage (depending on how meaty you want it), stir sausage in and cover cookpot with foil. Set air fryer to 200f and put the cookpot in the basket, close air fryer. Cook in 3 rounds of 25 minutes, removing the foil/stirring/replacing foil on pot every 25 minutes. Take out of air fryer - careful it's hot! - and serve or cool and store. Will taste better in 2-3 days, freeze for storage over 5 days. Add hot sauce if you need more kick. Add salt if needed, I usually don't.
The same technique works for pintos as well, and you can vary the sausage you put in - I've used chicken sausage, kielbasa, and even Italian sausage.
Broke down and ordered pizza, to go with my last few beers. 12in crispy crust with bacon, pepperoni, meatballs, mushrooms, and black olives. Some garlic cheese bread 'for later' and six hot wings and I'll feast for about 3-4 days. Wow, the wings are hotter than a $1000 a night hooker! I ended up drinking the entire container of bleu cheese dressing just to cool down a bit. The cheese garlic bread is amazing, it's 3 cheese - mozarella, parm, and cheddar. Sooooo good! The pizza is all going into the fridge for the next few days.
Only 2 more beers left, then it's over to wodka.
EEEuuuwwww, sweaty shirt! Dumping the ranch dressing on the bread, cooooooling.
Yams done and cooled, will be stored in the fridge once I scrape the goodie out into a container.
Then, back to skeleton archers, ugh.
Got windows 7 back on the computer, I think.
Morning. Stressed looking Mynah birds scratching around browning foliage and baked dry earth in a planter box painting a grim picture this overcast and relatively cool- 70 - Monday. Think there must be rain somewhere up in the looming overcast, just not making it to the ground :0 Poor Mynah birds live in urban rooftops, must be slim pickings for them so far this spring, or grim peckings or something ;)
