Sorry in advance that I didn't read through the five pages in this thread to see if an answer is here already, but.....
I'm using Daz 4.10 and just bought this product. I can't figure out how to use it. Is there a How To type document anywhere or a Tutorial? I was able to open it up, but when I tried to convert just one simple pose, it hung on 0% progress for 20 minutes before I realized it had completely frozen Daz.
I’m having trouble with the converter. It used to work fine but now I’m having issues with the v4 pose converter and the Genesis 8 pose converter. Sometime when I run it is says it runs but there is nothing there. Half the time it doesn’t make the icons for the pose when it does convert it.
Can I see logs of the time this happened? If possible, clear log.txt first then run the process so its easier to track.

The Converter tool I'm using is: the G3 to Gen8 tool.
I know this can work, since I just converted another Feralfey set right before it- and it went smoothly.
When I ran on this set, it did its song and dance just like the it converted the last batch- but nothing shows up in my result file.
I also tried to convert this pose set: https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/?ViewProduct=118978 Using the same tool. It runs... But I get nothing.
This doesn't work, and your little fan club is no help. Product Support?

The path in the second line above is malformed.
How do you expect any help when all you've said is the script doesn't work and no one is any help? If you want support beyond the forum, put in a technical support ticket. That's how product support works.

If that is the case why don't you put a ticket in, I use it and have no problem with the speed when converting !

There in the 2nd lines: PosesC: should read Poses C: but that could just as well be a mistake in the debugging log and not the actual work log.
Means the developer assumed both, input and output folders would be declared in the Content Directory Manager, when they are, Content Manager returns a well formed path and no two root combined paths.
Let me know if that fixes it.

Really like this product, however I did just run into a little problem but also a solution. This might also be the issue causing some of the folks above problems as well.
Here is the issue. I have been using the batch converter on a number of poses without issue. I just tried it on a new pose collec "Be Seated for Gen3" and attempted to apply converted pose. This failed. Upon researching the orginal pose file I noticed that it used the Mac convention of 'CR' vs. the windows 'CR/LF'. I am on Windows. I used a text editor (NotePad++) to convert the file to the Windows format and re-did the conversion. Voila the error is gone and the pose applied correctly. I hope this helps some folks.
So thanks to Jag11's comment above I finally realized that the in and output paths must be in the daz library path. No problem, but should be somewhere on the UI so people dont waste time finding this info.
So I stored a pose preset file with an animation and the converter runs fine on it, but when I try to load the file on G8 I get "An error occurred while reading the file, see the log for more details".
So for now it looks like the product does not work with animations which is what I need.
Is there any hope for a quick fix?

Just bought this and converted pose sets by FeralFey (Classic Pin Up Poses), i13 (Fierce Fantasy), and Neikdian (Active: Magic) with metadata on. Wow! Works flawlessly.
I am not sure what is going on. It very well may be user error.
After some success with the G3 to G8, I was excited to try the G2 to G3. Steps were the same. I selected the path where the new poses should go, I selected the path where the current posers are located, I click 'convert' and then to my surprise, I cannot find my converted files.
They are not in the folder where the original files are (which is good, I created a folder at the same level as the original folder). They are not in the Local User area where the poses that were converted from G3 to G8 went. I checked the 'converted' folder in the Coentent Library just in case and that is also empty.
If someone could help me figure out where the files ended up, I would appreciate it.

Need a bit more info. Did you add metadata in conversion or not, did you hit refresh? Can you post a screenshot of your settings and path inside the script?

("Crate Metadats" is OFF)
