Good to be seen still pullin' air. Having folks around you in a hospital room while the word. "in case" and "we're not sure" get used makes one glad of even the small stuff... I am not so ashamed of some of the small stuff now, especially on the occassion some of it works!

I have a question about the peppermint candy LIE make-up. Is there any specific reason I might be getting missing files message like for arabella and I think Isabella was the other one. I tried the make-up on Girl7 and Victoria7. I know very little about LIE stuff. I have just seen it in the store and read a little on the forums. I have not used it prior to this point. Thanks! :)

Hmmm, I'm not seeing any missing map errors here,
So I guess the first question is did the stuff end up in the correct path?
The stuff In-side the 'Content' folder gets copied to your "My Library", not including the 'Content' folder it's self. Don't just extract the zip directly into your runtime, extract it elsewhere and then copy the folders.
And I know even less about LIE after looking at the map paths in the surface tab.
A guess is that it is somehow baking up maps, putting them in the Daz temp folder, and using the baked maps in the temp folder in the surface tab from the looks of it. (somewhat confused now) so I guess many things could cause missing file errors? What happens to the maps for a saved scene when the temp folder gets cleared out (Aka, close Studio and start Studio up later on to work on the scene)?
I get an error message "runtime/textures/lyoness/jessenia/ly_jessenia_face_1001.jpg" but as it's a freebie (and it doesn't effect the product at all, from what I can tell), I wouldn't worry about it. :) I played with it quite a bit and it works beautifully! I just ignore the error message - it seems to not need that file and it's working great. :) Hopefully yours is working well too. It's a really fun product! I'm having a blast with it on my Christmas renders!
Cool thanks Diva. I got a similiar message as you and thought maybe it was because I don't have those characters. I tried it on teen josie7 the eyebrows missed and the lips only covered the bottom one. Akio7 the lips missed only. *shrugs*
Anyways, not too worried or complaining about it since it was free, but would hate to have it not work just because I missed something (files or ability to adjust) or forgot to do something other than the obvious copy and paste thingy. Does anyone know what the xml files called 'manifest' and 'supplement' are for? Thanks! :)
I've seen the missing maps message in other LIE sets but it does not seem to cause any problems, just click through.
The misalignment is due to the UV maps, select Akio 7, go into the surfaces tab, select the lips & set the UV maps setting (in the 'Geometry' sub-section) to 'Base Female' and it should be fine.

That did get my attention Scavenger, tho I will concede to Fisty and Darc for that DIM dsx file stuff. (I sort of know what dsx files are for, I don't know how it dose it's magic)
I would simply be happy if some stuff would stay in the (not so) Smart Content tab after I put it there, lol.
That is a lot of steps to go threw to get each thing back over there again after rebuilding the database. And I still haven't figured out how to get the hair colors to show up when the hair is selected, (you couldn't do that daz, grrr) lol.

Ciara from the Unseelie courts now has another element under her control. Earth is now hers to command! Ciara's Earth Expansion is a full new base skin, complete with 12 basic eyeshadows, 7 fantasy makeups, 10 new green eyeliner presets (in Ciara's original styles), 10 lip color options, 10 coordinating nail options, 3 new sclera options, 3 new eye color options and a new eye glow option.
Please note that this is an expansion only and requires the original Ciara for Genesis 3 Female. This add-on product is base maps only, no utilities. The eyeliners are a preset only, no maps.

With the Content Package Assistant available here in the store (Which makes DIM ready files from your zips super easily) I'm surprised I've not seen a single product on any other site being DIM ready.

Thank you for the gifts! I didn't see this thread right away, so I'm behind on trying things out. Here is Fisty and Darc's great Classic Dress with a Tint-Me option used. The drinking glass is a freebie from Allen Art over on ShareCG. The liquid in the glass is tea from Mec4D's volume 2 shaders. The hair is Mada Hair for G3F. I had to use some Fit Control to deal with Brigitte's curvy shape! The dress has a lot of built in morphs, even breast bridging help, but Brigitte is extreme and was too much for me to handle with just those.
Oh love Ciara's Earth expansion. I don't have Ciara yet but I'm a get her now:) Thankies so much everybody:)

there is a change in the way that LIE are saved out and it has caused that error and I'm sorry. It did not do that last year.
If you just click on through, as suggested, the makeup will appear as it is supposed to. The set from this year is updated to not have that error.
Assuming this headache goes away, I'll package up the dress and PM you, and you can distribute as you will.
I have a little program that runs thru and creates the DIM. I've always had vague notions of giving it a GUI wrapper and distributing it, but that's been a bit beyond me for a bit, and it's not really portable as is. I've never looked at the stuff in the shop...I just studdied DIM structure and the manifest files and with the help of a buddy who's good with codking just whipped my thing up. I can't do the smart content files though :(. I've learned some tricks for organizational sake though :)

There is a product in the store that creates DIM packages. It is on sale, too.
I appreciate the nice comments about my Classic Dress image. Thanks. I discovered that the dress works extremely well on the Growing Up Youth morph, too. Many dresses for G3F cause terrible breast area distortion, but this one does not! It also takes shaders very well. There are some instructions in the read me for handling tiling, but in this case of the knit shaders, I did not use those instructions.

Because I made custom fit morphs for all the growing up shapes.

Wow! That is really impressive! Thank you!!! I also discovered an under breast morph in the list. I wonder if that would have helped me avoid needing Fit Control on the Brigitte render. I hadn't seen that morph at the time I did that render.

This gift can be used on Genesis 3 Female without the base pack but there may be error messages. Just close them and the skin and eyes will apply correctly. I don't believe the eyeshadows will work properly without the base product. For the full character look and utilities Ciara for Genesis 3 Female needs to be installed.
