I don't want anyone to think that I sound ungrateful, but I'm just slightly confused.
Tween Jayden is (for me) showing a discount of 51%. Then I have a message about a 20% discount.
In checkout, the total is a -61% discount. But my maths tells me it should be a -71% discount,
Is there a mistake in the message, where it should say 10% discount? Or is my maths right?

I doubt this is a glitch or error. I don't know how the recipients of these banner ads are chosen, specifically, but I'm sure it's not an automated process. As far as having more than 9 characters, I think those of us who do have that many characters have certainly earned a free character. At the very least we deserve the same 90% discount others are reporting here. The simple truth is this discount should have been made available to everyone.
I don't get upset anymore - I'm beyond caring. I just try and point out why and how Daz upsets their biggest customers when they do. Four times so far this month!

I recently had my own Camp Scene with Tween Boys. Ryan would work, although as some mentioned, he looks a little old.
If they give you a 20% discount on the amount left after they have applied the 51% discount then it works out as about 61% on the original price. It's only 71% if they apply both the 20% and the 51% to the original price.
I've only bought two Genesis 3 characters - Victoria 7 and a Lyoness character. I got a banner for 10% off but I doubt I'll use it - tween boys just aren't something I see myself rendering.
It really sucks if it's true that not everyone is getting discounts who bought G3 characters - that's extremely unfair to those who aren't.

I have a banner saying 10% off. Maybe it needs having made an extra purchase to get the 20? I know I only bought one G3 character so far, because there was also a G2 version included, so perhaps the more you've bought the bigger the discount. But I'm still just toe-dipping when it comes to the G3s so it would make sense for me to get a smaller one.
Daz math makes my face hurt. lol The stacking discounts are always a percentage off the discounted amount, rather than the original amount.
Not sure if anyone has already mentioned this, but the special discount is valid until 29/8, so plenty of time to iron out any issues (if there are any).
Maybe the discount was targeted at people who did not buy young figures (haven't bought Julie or Josie or any of the teens for Genesis 2).

I haven't seen any discount banner either and I think I have every probundle except guy/girl7 and they are on my wishlist, I hope we will see a discount banner soon for being loyal customers.
edit to add: I think it's 20 base characters total for G7 ( and I believe all are probundles except 1)

I am offered 50%—it says because I've purchased 5 G3 characters. It's looking like 10% per character bought. I presume there must be a cap on this somewhere, although I don't know what counts as a character and how many of those there are.
I am definitely waiting till later today to see if I get the banner, otherwise I doubt that I will purchase now. It's ridiculous that some are getting huge discounts and some of us seem to be getting nothing!

My first g3 male bundle. And even at the discount, thought about it.
I got the Pro for $33, so it was a no-brainer for me. I do have a consistent problem with checking out, though: When I load the cart page the first time, the discount shows, but when I proceed to the payment page, it's usually been left off. I almost spent $100+ on Ryan o.O But I'm accustomed to it now. The workaround is to go back to the cart page, move to the payment page a second time, and the discount will show.
I am happy to support PAs producing male items. As this is a DAZ original, happy not to pay through the nose when huge discounts are given elsewhere. Pretty cross about it, however.
Hmmm, I've bought -6- 10 of the G3F or G3M Pro Bundles so far released and I've been offered precisely nothing! Now I feel hurt
(Edit to correct my counting - the 6 were bought in 2016, I already had 4 Pro Bundles and 1 character from 2015)

I guess I will wait and see what happens.
I haven't gotten a banner and I have purchased way too much G3 stuff, lol. Maybe they are slowly getting to people?
I was considering starting a thread about the price of the new Pro pack being higher (at least for me) than the most recent female one, which was turning me away from buying the boy pro-pack now and waiting for a future sale. Unlike some of the other male packages, I like most of the stuff that comes in the pro package and would be willing to pay a bit more now than wait for crazy prices like I have for some of the others.
Anyway, it seems silly for them to complain that fewer people want these figures and then guarantee fewer sales by offering it at higher prices. I understand about supply and demand and how that affect prices, but...surely if they can encourage more sales by lower prices early on it offsets the discount and gives people more reason to purchase future products that fit the theme (in this case, young male figures and clothing) or requires products included in the packs.
I haven't bought any young characters either (and I got the discount), just that product for genesis 3 female that can make grown up characters younger.
I was wondering what you need to have bought to get this. I have bought some G3 Pro bundles but not all of them and I'm not getting this. I suppose I just didn't buy enough.

A. It doesn't matter if it's a male or female character
B. It doesn't matter if you bought just the character, starter or pro bundle
C. It doesn't matter if you bought it during the intro period or at a later sale. I picked up Bethany and Michael much later.
But I do have a suspicion that not logging in for some time at the DAZ shop will generate banners. I haven't logged in for at least two weeks and got two banners (one for Ryan, one for candles), before I had a stretch of a week and a half and got one banner (Vampire bundle).
But yeah, 80% is a lot. I looked at Ryan this morning and thought "those clothes look like paint on sticky tape", convincing myself not to spend extra dollars on a tween (I don't buy kids, I have Zev0 growing up). But at this price...
I've got no banner and several (13) of the main figures, this really gets my goat but all its going to do in the long run is save me money because I will be keeping my purse shut, as it doesn't seem to pay to spend money here.
I probably would have picked Ryan but now I won't bother.
Possibly too much, from what I've seen its the bigger spenders that are being left out.
Here's a mix of Ryan's morph with (50%) with Michael, Leo and Gianni (50%).
I think 50% might be a bit too much for my taste but smaller amount can give a youthful look to all the adult characters.
