Well, the "show only wishlisted" choice doesn't appear. Used to be, I could refresh the page and it would eventually show up, but that no longer does anything. Other things, like "Hide What's new", price history, gallery entries still work.
Sometimes I'd have to close all other open DAZ windows first, but not even that helps.
    Using latest Firefox.

Toggle the "Show filter for wishlisted and owned items + "% off" sort filter" option (turn off, then turn back on again) to make sure the browser sees it correctly.

That doesn't work. Now nothing seems to work - the "what's Hot" section is showing, the price graphs and forum references aren't showing, the "hide owned products" in bundles doesn't work...

Okay, I uninstalled and reinstalled DAZ Deals. The "What's Hot" section is hidden, the price historyshows, as does the "hide products" button . Nothing else seems to work.

I have resisted getting this plug-in, but am now trying it. It's slowing down my browser somewhat, but I must say, it's a brilliant tool to more effeciently shop at DAZ, and, therefore, worth taking the hit on the speed (which isn't that atrocious). I simply don't have the time to go through sales stuff for hours. With this tool, I can do all kinds of searches, and eliminate all kinds of unnecessary (or to me uninteresting stuff) and get to the meat of my shopping experience in a jiffy. Kudos (no this is not a paid advert =)

It runs faster in Chrome than in Firefox.

Just a question about linked images.  I have one image with links to a bunch of products.  Some of the the products show the image and some don't.

Now it's possible that I added some at the same time I posted the image and others later after looking them up in the scene file.  Would that be the reason?  It's not a big deal, but I'm curious.

Most likely that is the reason. Because there are tens of thousands of images in the gallery, we don't update them real-time. New images are updated more often to catch the number of likes, but older images are only updated periodically--not too often, since we don't want to cause extra load on the Daz servers.

Today's Additional Artists "View These Artists Together" copies Daz's link which is wrong, and is gives us Featured Artists again.

I see Daz are keeping you on your toes: your "add to wishlist" icon (really useful) has disappeared from the main store page in the redesign.

  • Yes, the whole redesign is a mess, all the tiny icons and it looks like all the thumbnails are a new size, I wonder how that is going to play nice with older thumbnails, llike when RDNA thumbnails pop up. But, yes, I noticed that the add to wishlist icon is gone, and there is no "show these items together" for the $5 items. They seem to be making it as hard as possible to buy things. But, I guess that's better for my pocketbook in the long run!

Some changes are easier to fix than others. I believe we have followed most of the changes so far. I have just updated the "release date for new items" script as well to work with today's changes. Adding the wishlist button back will take a bit longer, please hold on. :)

Hey, thanks for looking! I guess this won't be the last change to the store layout either, with the new store software reportedly still on its way, so they really are keeping you busy.

  • Anyone else but me having everything after the What's Hot section of the shop page fail to load at all?    This is in Opera, with the daz-deals pluggin in place, but when I go to load the same page in Brave (where I don't have the pluggin), the page loads all the rest of the stuff like normal.   I'm wondering if the fact that Opera is still stuck with an older version of the deals pluggin has something to do with it, which suggests that the new changes to the Daz3D shop broke that version of the pluggin.  0o

I have the same issue in Chrome, but even with the addon disabled, so at first glance, I doubt it's the addon that's causing this.

If I load the Daz page in incognito mode, it works fine even with the addon. So it's not the addon.

  • On the other hand, I just checked the install page for Opera version of this extension and....  it was last updated in March 2018?!?  How can update approvals be held up that cotton pickin' long?!?  A month, I can understand,..... but well over two years?!??  Something has seriously gone off the rails over there.  0o

Okay, if you're seeing the same issue with even the pluggin turned off, and on a different viewer than I'm on.... any idea why the page is loading correctly for me on Brave, but isn't on Opera?  That's... just weird.

It should probably load fine in Opera incognito (private, whatever it calls it) mode as well, based on how it behaves in Chrome. Deleting cache alone didn't solve the issue for me. Deleting just daz3d cookies didn't either. Deleting all cookies might, but that's not something I'm willing to do at this point.

For me, it's the Pro Writing Aid plugin that is causing this issue (since today--it was working fine yesterday). With that turned off, the site is back to normal. Of course, I don't want to turn that off. :-/

  • Well, as pointed out to me in another thread (and apparently in yet another thread beyond that, which I haven't come across yet), its a problem with the sligfhtly older version of Opera I was somehow still running.  I was under the impression that Opera is supposed to auto-update as soon as new versions of it release, but mine didn't.  After it updated, the Shop page and stuff went back to working.

I switched ad blockers in Chrome and now the Ati referral email links to the Daz store are blocked. What is emjcd.com?

That's one of Commission Junction's (Daz's official affiliate provider) domains. The reason it says it's blocked is true: it's tracking your click--otherwise it wouldn't know you clicked on it.

Thank you for the clarification. I disabled the ad blocker on that domain. It is important to me to click your links so you get the commission you deserve. Your addon is the best feature of the Daz store.

Me too ... using that link in the email to login the store, I mean. I am even holding unto the email until the next one comes, in case of closing the browser (which in my case clears cache and cookies) and opening again to login.

Yeah, I always try to remember to click on the Ad in Ati's alert emails before checking out. I often forget but I TRY to remember and do it as often as my bad memory will allow. lol

Anyone else having this issue? I couldn't see past the first row of stuff on Chrome. The browser is updated and I've tried it on two different computers.

It looks okay in Edge (which I loathe) Tried it in Firefox. They look fine- because I'm not using the Daz Deals plugin in those. I tried it in Chrome without the plugin and it looks fine.

Something in the plugin isn't playing well with the store redesign. I hate having to disable it, but I can't shop like this. (It is however, saving me lots of money! LOL)

I see you write. Do you by any chance have the ProWritingAid plugin? For me, that is causing the same issue. Disabling that makes everything work fine again. (Of course, I don't want that disabled, so I had to create a slight workaround. Let me know if this is your issue, and I might be able to help you with it.)

    Ah, that was it!

So sorry to blame your extension. I didn't realize ProWritingAid was active on DAZ. I just had to go into the extension settings to disable on DAZ, not for everything else.

    I'm back in business!

Hi, in the browser Iridium (Chrome based) yout add-on works great too! In Waterfox (Firefox based) it has problems lately to load the extra features.

And in both there is one thing which happens more often and that is that the price graph is to close to the border by which the tooltip wihich shows the price/date isn't readable anymore. Perhaps with a margin/padding move it to the left ? As there is space enougfh. When I zoom out I can see it.

    Thanks, Luc

    Hi,

Is anyone else having this problem (see attachment).
Everything used to work fine before and for a couple of weeks now I have to 'stop' the extension or I get stuck in this screen.
It says it's "Calculating". Any idea what that means?

Firefox can be quite slow when it comes to certain features of this addon. If it's not against your views, Chrome might be a solution that is a lot faster.

But it always worked so great before! sad
My wishlist has almost 400 items. Do you think that is the problem?
Changing to Chrome seems such a poor solution...
