I had to reinstall the Pinokio Wan app because I messed up my installation (manually deleting model files I maybe shouldn't have)

and now LTX takes 11 minutes instead of 25 minutes to render a 4 sec video

I still didn't want all those model files such as MiniMax (not useable and huge on my C drive) but I think removing Qwen was the one that messed it up but honestly unsure

however I also think this is a different version as not called VRAM poor version like my previous install thuogh I did have to configure it for my hardware limitations to work

Would be great to have in Daz Studio possibility to get a picture in sculpture mode directly.

Huh? Just a apply a stone texture to geoshells or decals. That's one of the simplest things you can do in Daz: change a figure to a statue. Doesn't work with strand-based hair though. :)

Just applying a seamless texture or a PBR mat to a genesis figure doesn't really come close to producing the same results, though, does it?

Here's an example of 3 different kinds of stone statues created with local workflows I'm developing (img2img based on a DS render):

not only faster but I can do longer videos

8 seconds in one go, not using sliding windows

and are still faster than my 4 second ones 720p then upscaled

not the quality of better AI models and nowhere near online options but locally is using less VRAM than my 3D renders do

    <9GB VRAM

this is just 5 3D renders of Xivon Seaside Village

    music AI too

    Nice results, @WendyLuvsCatz
My laptop has only card with 8 GB of VRAM,
that is why I explore Unity to overcome such limits.

you may still be able to run this

I spent the last 2 days moving my Forge installs off my C drive

(ended up zipping moving then extracting as simply stop copying otherwise)

huge checkpoint files for Flux and SDXL (I use separate Forge UI installs as clash otherwise)

reinstalled Poser 11 and needed space

they don't run on my 2 biggest externals but guessed correctly being ExFAT probably the reason because they do run on my third NTFS drive

yet Fooocus runs on the ExFAT

(also SDXL but I use the Forge Ui for deforum animations)

I have a lot of LoRas I trained for both, Fooocus is better for inpainting, I cannot do LoRas for Flux, One Trainer seems to be locked out of the Checkpoint I have

Pinokio used to run on the NTFS external but stopped one update so sadly still on my C drove

I want to press the thumbs up button on these renders you are all doing but I guess words speak more volumns in the forum. Gee I even remember that red corsette. And yeah, the textures can be added in a daz render at time of rendering in whatever form of metal, stone and wood or clothe you want. Stonemason has a product too that makes those textures have a patina and look worn out.
Remember calling Reality 2 into existence from the netherworld for those of us with old systems? Well, I hooked my graphics computer up finally to retrieve some old renders from it. 2 hours in LuxRender and 30 seconds in ai. If I wore socks, they would be knocked off!

  • I have never rendered motion blur in DAZ Studio either...

I doubt many modern cinematographers do either, nowadays everything is added in production

easier to edit in aberrations than remove them

only homemovies have motion blur and photographers using film and a longer exposure

    Last one!

To celebrate Furry Friday I took one of Lady LIttlefox's Plushies, Wolfie:

Added Uzilite's The New Adventure for M4:

And using my "Minikins" style (inspired by modern Western animation series like Final Space, Rick and Morty and Star Trek: Lower Decks) generated some story montages:

I love that you are able to swap V4 and M4 clothing so easily with any version using the ai. Even backwards from Genesis G9 onto V3 2 1 or on human photographs.

For sure! I love taking clothing items from 20+ years ago and using them again like they're new, especially when fitting them to figures that aren't even close to what they were intended for. I'm having more fun "playing" with my library of DAZ asset than I ever had before.

Color or colour graded from the LuxRender image of her using ai. She was originally a V4 with London Texture. I forgot to insist on the pockmark above her eyebrow. It's the imperfections that make these things look real.

Very nice. I love using AI as another rendering engine, or a postwork filter/plug-in. It's an awesome addition to the graphic toolbox.

the AI added some crazy text overlays and subtitles

While I'm coming out of lurking the shadows to share, first I just want to say thanks to everyone contributing to this thread. For entertainment and inspiration this is my favorite thread on the DAZ forums. I find it really interesting that many of the active posters here are people who have been around since the early days of Poser (plus Wendy, who while she wasn't on the poser scene in the early days, she is always pushing the creative envelope and a real inspiration). Once it dawned on me the "experience" of the posters here, I began to wonder why. I think it's probably because everyone initially was, and still is drawn to the use of emerging technology to create art or visual medium. People who still have their inner child and continually ask "what if I could do this with the computer" or "I wonder if I could use this to do that". People who are interested in moving forward, not accepting "this is as good as it gets" or "you can't do that".

Anyway, from a true forum lurker, thanks to everyone participating in this thread. Your contributions and achievements are truly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now for my minor contribution. I literally just installed the AIRE "renderer" for DS (it uses ComfyUI directly in DS), and below is my first finished image. While like any generative AI process, it's not perfect or easy to get exactly what you want, I do find it rather fun to play with. Plus having it integrated into DS means I don't have to use DS and Krita (with the AI plugin), I can just use DS. It does have it's weaknesses, mainly I can't use different checkpoints to help get the desired results. But overall it makes the process fun and interactive. So .... here is my first image, and the image that was used to make it. If your interested in reading the story about the image, or more details on how it was made, my gallery post on RenderHub is here: https://www.renderhub.com/gallery/104159/the-ember-gate-aire-1-2-1.

Thanks again to everyone contributing to the thread!!!

I love how the lighting affects the reimagined render too

and yes, technology amazes me, I don't see AI in a negative light at all, only how some choose to use it

in the hands of creative people it's an awesome tool,

in the hands of those trying to deceive, it's a scammer's toolkit

in the hands of lazy people it's slop

... but, one can say that of many things including Photoshop in the past

    I solved it I think

avoid words like speak, talk, sing etc in the prompt because it thinks it needs lyrics, subtitles, live feed etc

I used making expressions instead and got this result

    Very nice, good upgrade!

Even with stills I find I need to include things like, "No Text; no titles; no headlines; no word balloons; no drawn sound effects; no speed lines"; it still occasionaly finds a way to sneak something in...

I found with this model adding negative prompts in any format --neg, --negative, (suggested by the documentation) actually makes it specificly add those things
