Beautiful work everyone!  Too many gorgeous pieces of art to comment on all.  Thank you for sharing.

As Mary knows, my hubby is losing his memory so we took a trip up to Cass Lake, Minnesota where we have fished for decades.  This is the last time.  The drive is long and hubby had trouble keeping the ledges while fishing.  Just trying to get our vacations in before we aren't able anymore.  Sorry that it takes me away from you all.

NGartplay - thank you. I am very sorry to hear that your hubby is losing his memory. I had my mother and my older sister losing their memories. It is a very sad experience.

The objects are from left TwistedCubeLoop1 and TwistedCubeLoop2 from Fifty Funky Shapes and Fifty Funky Metals with materials from 50 Metals The Treppenhalle Set. They stand on the ground plane with some transparency and some reflection. Background and ambient light by the Geo_grid4a HDRI from HDRI for Fun and the key light by the sun. Two differently twisted two-part metallic cubes.

NGartplay, thank you. Sorry to hear about the memory loss of your hubby. Make the most of the remaining possibilities.

Horo, Fantastic textures on these funky shapes!

I was inspired by the recreation of a picture by Electro-Elvis. Some time ago, I (more or less) recreated 'Nighthawks' by Edward Hopper. I decided to scroll through the book on Hopper that I have and found the painting 'Rooms at the sea'. I decided to recreate this. The texture on the walls was a bit smoother than I intended, but I decided to leave it like this. The boy in the doorway (from one of the DAZ people) is not in the Hopper picture, but I thought it would fit in the general Hopper vision.

Whatever I tried, I did not get the lighting on the walls/floors as in the original picture. But I realise that the artist did not recreate reality, but provided his vision on a situation and may well have made the lights more dramatic in a way we cannot (or I cannot) recreate in Bryce.

Beautiful work Hansmar, I was not familiar with Hopper's work, I looked it up, you did an awesome job recreating that scene.

    Thanks, Horo and mermaid010.

And I created another work after Hopper. This is 'Woman in the sun'. In Hopper's painting she does not wear any clothes, but that is not allowed on this site, so I clothed her. Also, I did not make an effort to create the bed with the messy sheets. I just looked for a bed that slightly resembled the original.

Lovely scene Hansmar, thanks for mentioning the 'nude' bit, I'm a bit conservative, so I didn't compare.

The terrain was self made and given a material combined from Landscapes under Fantastic Skies and Gritstone Hills. The clouds are by the CloudSphere6 from the Sky Toolbox and the ambient light by the belonging SkySC6 HDRI and the key light by the sun.

While I'm experimenting with the TreeGrass; a simple render using random reflecting spheres and an Hdri from Hdri Scene 4 by David.
