...well l didn't hit the "buy button" the other night because I am always concerned about finances near month's end as one of my autopay utility bills would come due in the last week
Well, I received notice that auto pay date finally was moved to the first week of next month ( and ill always be on that day from now on. I have been trying to get this changed for years so all my bills are paid off early which makes it easier to budget the rest of the month
As to the GT and the coupon working together, when I had another item in the cart with the #Magic Brush Bindle, both discounts applied.(the other item was by a different PA). When I applied the coupon, the price for the other item dropped by another 2.50 USD.
Here are some problems for me. Every time we have a sale, there are numerous errors that need to be fixed.
That is not satisfactory to me. DAZ should have conquered whatever causes the errors years ago. I think they need a full-time proofreader.
The sales are too complicated. I strain my brain enough by dealing with my everyday needs.
For example, I am trying to organize 12 years of military service and send the documents to a government agency.
DAZ has much good content. But I haven't used most of that content in 25+ years.
I'm not interested in New Content right now.
Oh, yes, and I need to replace my antiquated computer to better handle DAZ Studio 6.
Let's not forget my bills.
So I will let my DAZ+ subscription end.
Yes. Yesterday and the day before yesterday, it worked. Today, it doesn't anymore, making $2.99 the floor if you have GT (assuming no tokens are applied) and if you don't have anything over $2.99, the 30% coupon will come back as invalid.
Yikes. Glad I grabbed those brushes when I did.
Well, we'll see how things go for the remaining items I have my eye on. If it works out, great! But if that ends up being the extent of it for me, it's still a win.
And there's always another sale.
The $2.99 floor on Lyoness Legacy items that are listed at $3.79 really puts a damper on 80% + 30% (featured artist) + 40% (lyoness) + the 30 for 30 if you have it.
Doesn't help that I only see two items in her "recent" list.
Whatever else is going on, I may grab a month of D+ and get the OS and QG items that appeal to me. It's a fair number of items, actually. And the changeover is coming soon, too. And the coupons might give good value as well.
...waiting until "payday" mext week to renew as so far all the GT items have been G9 or something I don't need.. Would be nice to have a prop, vehicle or something like that.
The flaw with this month's sale is the "featured artist" stores. Why buy anything from any store but the day's artist when you have no idea if their day is tomorrow? I was looking at something from FESoul and it occurred to me how dumb I'd feel if they were the golden ticket artist tomorrow or next week.
More money saved.
Isabella 9 has bundles I would go nuts over. But...
The character's face (not skin) reminds me of Arianna 8.1 that I recently got from OS/QG and love. Also much in common with Snow Queen bundles. Both traditional fantasy themes and each offers an elder, younger, and child shape.
Will I still end up dipping into Premier again to get at least the character bundle, or grab the fairy outfit or both? Any of those is likely. I do mostly SF & fantasy art, plus I've always been a sucker for elaborate, frills & organza gowns for my characters dating back to my Barbie days. I was always on the lookout for wedding outfits, because I cast my dolls as queens & princesses and that was the closest clothing Mattel offered in the 70s.
Interesting. 2026-ARTIST-SALE literally works on anything bar OS and QG.

I fell for the bundles today, and bought textures for everything but the 'so-called' armor. Leaving a bare torso on the sides is not happening for me. I did go and find two items, armor and its texture I had wishlisted on sale and bought that to use the under clothing or the full armor. But,,, my inner princess that believed in a prince charming was out there for me (before Disney ruined it), loved the outfits otherwise and both hairs and the shoes. And although I haven't played with the characters yet, I still like her. Kudos to the PAs who worked on the contents.
(I just wish my fairy godmother would sprinkle some stardust over me and get rid of this freaking migraine that is on its fourth day of pain! Meds and tea not working.)
I am not convinced by a Golden Ticket that offers a texture for an outfit that is just released will sell as good as the last ones...

Probably not, but a least with the way that the sale is set up, if you bought either the GT from yesterday or the day before, you still automatically get the GT discount. It's not the greatest discount system, but it's a lot better than the "punch cards" that constantly lost value if you missed a day.
This is true, but one has to keep in mind that the odds are good that the vast majority of the artists in the store will not be "contributing" a GT item, so it's not quite as black and white as that, especially if you also don't know if there will be one of the Orange Bar discounts for an extra 30% off like some of us receive available when the artist that you're waiting on will have a GT if they even do. That said, there are certain vendors who are most likely to be GT'd and it's not too hard to figure out who those are as it's a pretty small gang of usual suspects. What it really comes down to, after all the other discounts and tokens are stacked up, is just how significant the Featured GT discount is going to be in terms of the real final price... and for a lot of these items I've been personally finding that it's working out to be around a dollar... and to take into account that DAZ will usually refund you the difference if the item you bought today ends up being cheaper within the next 30 days if you can provide documentation.
The DAZ Core character bundles have been repeating the same basic type of content and character looks for quite a while now, with the stuff in the character bundles usually having the most "I've seen that before" content... which probably is not surprising considering there have already been over a hundred G9 core figures released so far (and that's NOT counting the 30-ish monsters, centaurs, etc.) and the facts that DAZ has dropping at least two new ones a month and then giving a huge percentage of the character bundles away for free to Premier members. Since it's usually the same general group of artists, there's probably not a whole lot of time to sit around and think about coming up with something completely new and original, so I'm sure there's a tendency to go back and do variants on the proven 'this sold before" concepts.

I'm following my previously stated plan. there is a lot of good treasure in os/qg now, at least for me.
Looks like Golden Ticket discount only applies to items currently showing on the sale page, like the previous sale. NOTHING in the blurb states this, it states own ANY Golden Ticket item. Shoddy advertising has lost Daz another $100+ this morning in revenue.
