    Kristen Stewart (by me) ;-)

Great likeness.  I'd have guessed her as Kristen Stewart even without a heads-up.

I only ever saw her in one movie and that was Panic Room (2002), which I thought was excellent and very gripping!
But I've seen her in photos here and there in more recent times, and that does look like her.

    Well done!

Am I about the only one here who doesn't have a clue what half of these "celebrities" actually look like? Anyone from the last 20 years or so, I'd have no chance of recognising laugh

No, there are at least two of us in the same boat. And my recognition rate is way lower than half. 10% might be a bit optimistic. However, I keep looking because there's a [small] chance I may recognise someone.

    Regards,

    Richard

Same here for the most part.  I've not seen anywhere near all of the thread, but so far the only women I recognise are those from the 60s, 70s and 80s.  Kristen is something of an exception so far since 2002 is what brought her fame in Panic Room, and I've seen that.

She put on some great acting along-side Jodie Foster in that one, that's for sure (highly recommended movie).

But yup, was dead easy to tell her as Kristen, still, I've added a few here along-side her so you can open in separate tabs and flip between them:

She was good in American Ultra which is a intense film.

She is also world famous for the Twilight Trilogy Saga

And her live action version of Snow White and the Huntsman against Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsorth was different from most her other roles.

There's a song called "Who Laughs Last" released by a band named Lord Huron last year featuring Kirsten Stewart, who also performs a spoken word monologue throughout it.  The video is only so-so, but the song is terrific!

Just stopping by, once more, to praise HID3D's work lately, but especially with (Ali Larter) HID Clear for Genesis 9. She's simply breathtaking! :)

Also: it's probably been mentioned before, but I came across this Henry Cavill some time ago and was shooketh to my very core. :p

The likeness is spooky, almost. The author/artist even got the ass right, sculpted to perfection. I've got Henry's ass memorized, for reasons unimportant (and beyond my control, really), and that's HC's ass, right there.

That's because … (whispers) … they all go to the same plastic surgeons, so they all look alike.

Is Booker supposed to be Christopher Meloni?

I am SO ticked off that they canceled Law and Order: Organized Crime. Peacock really needed to make room for The Real Housewives of Another Rich Neighborhood?

I posted about that on the previous page. Look up American senator Cory Booker. The similarity is quite interesting.

Booker's light-skinned, but not THAT light.

Doesn't change the overall impression of the character. Dude looks pretty light in some pictures. Besides, skin tone is easily adjusted via translucency or diffuse color. Cory Booker with blue eyes. That's how that character looks to me, and the character matches up pretty well to photos of him, and pretty sure KOO didn't just pick the name Booker out of a hat. YMMV and all that. Peace out!

I have stopped going back and forth with people when they make comments like those. Like when they go into size, or boob size. That's what we have morphs for. Morph the body or change the skin tone if that's what you need.

    I agree completely!

His/her work is outstanding, so much so that I bought the latest offering (Alice) without a moment's hesitation. I'm sure that she's based off of sometone but I have no idea who.

I own both HID Ariel and HID Alice -- IMHO Alice is a much more accurate Avril digital clone than Ariel

Frankie 9 initially evoked Leonardo di Caprio, but given the British gangster theme, I'm calling Luke Evans.

    OK....

At all of your suggestions of Avril Lavigne (and after FINALLY tracking down some photos of her without that gawd-awful eye makeup)... yeah, I can see it.

But she looks better in HID3D's promo artwork than she does in real life, in my humble opinion.

Hmm, does that deliberately have a bit from Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds? It certainly sounds the same in several places.

  • 3DIO3DIO Posts: 342

Could be a respectful nod to it perhaps, since Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds was meant to work as a "Movie" done in music kinda thing.
Never thought of it that way, but I do see what you mean  :-D

She's not exactly on the top of my list as far as actresses go, but that is quite an amazing morph likeness of her. Kudos to the artist.

Sangriart's new release, Margie for G9, is Natalie Dormer, who played Margaery Tyrell in "Game of Thrones". It's a very realistic character, although I almost feel that the earlier G3F version was closer to Dormer's distinctive features than this one.

Sangriart has also remodeled their G8 figure of Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen in "Game of Thrones"), and I think Dracarys for G9 is a better Clarke than the earlier version.

I would assume they're all based on real people. #16 is MAYBE Nia Nacci, but I wouldn't have guessed even the ones of those that I am familiar with, so they're not necessarily the closest likenesses.

Probably mentioned long ago but I'm behind the times anyway.

https://www.daz3d.com/vyk-wren-for-g8f Looks like Madonna to me.

https://www.daz3d.com/vyk-rayne-for-g8f Looks a little like Lysette Anthony in her younger days.

It doesn't help that most of them only vaguely resemble the people they are supposed to look like.  I know some creators nail them precisely and the likeness is fantastic, but the vast majority would never be mistaken for the individuals they are supposed to portray.
