I thought as much, though in real life she's 165cm tall while HID Lucy is 155cm.

Claire is definitely Bryce Dallas Howard. Claire is the name of her character in Jurassic World, and most of the promo pics seem to be modeled after that character.

I wish JP Darrow had Cox's actual build instead of the short and stocky build Jepe seems to always use, but I suppose one could mix the head morph with a different body morph to achieve this

Probably depends on who you ask. Wikipedia defines a celebrity like this:

"Celebrity is a condition of fame and broad public recognition of a person or group due to the attention given to them by mass media. The word is also used to refer to famous individuals. A person may attain celebrity status by having great wealth, participation in sports or the entertainment industry, their position as a political figure, or even their connection to another celebrity. 'Celebrity' usually implies a favorable public image, as opposed to the neutrals 'famous' or 'notable', or the negatives 'infamous' and 'notorious'"

So it's implied that a celebrity is known to many people and that "the public" at least knows them and there are news about them published in the mass media. I guess about 90% of the so-called "youtube celebrities" don't fall into that category.

When I saw the JP Harrow morph, it was just so obviously Charlie Cox it was painful (particularly with one of the example images).

This led me to think of, and now ask, the one 'Forbidden' question concerning these morphs: What is the exact 'legality' of pruducing such morphs?

It seems like it may be walking a fine line, as there have some celebrities that have sued movie/TV producers for using their likeness without compensation before (either an actual performance for which they weren't paid, or a 3D scan that was put in post production).

And now we have AI Slop which can do the same easily with anybody's face, and without the consent of the person.

I think that these morphs simply fly 'under the radar' low enough that their producers don't get into trouble.

That being said, I do recall many years ago how one 'Lara Croft Cosplay' outfit suddenly disappeared from the market, and if memory serves, the example images did use a 'Angelina Jolie' face morph (for Poser's Victoria 4), but I think it may have had to do with the outfit being an exact copy of the game version, and not the face used.

There's three suggestions on the first page lists, will any of those do?

    • KrashWerk's Roslynn (G8)
    • Celebrity Series CS59 (G3 & G8)
    • Puredigital101's Bryce (couldn't find it, probably also G8)

So, do you see a lot of celebriy imperonators being sued? Or perhaps celebrities who happen to share a similar look being mistaken for one another suing each other for some sort of infringement? I posit that a likeness is typically that, a likeness. Some manage to monetize said likeness, and as long as it's not defamatory I imagine there's little anyone can legitimately do about it. Likewise clothing, cars, many other material goods would simply disappear from the public eye. IPs are protected, but there are limits.

PD101's new "Hannah O" had me all excited that maybe they watch this thread for inspiration, but I think it must be a different Hannah

I couldn't find Bryce anywhere. CS59 definitely has the likeness, and Roslynn is a great-looking redhead. I think I'll just have to accept the performance/load cost and use HID Claire if I want to get close. Thanks for the recommendations!

Basically that it can't be mistaken by a reasonable person for the celebrity themselves. While AI tends to ignore this, those who do it are opening themselves up. This one isn't going to be mistaken for the actual person, so there should be no issue.

I saw Marnie in the list, and I have her, but today MSO May for Genesis 9 Feminine appeared in Quick Grab. I think she bears the closer likeness of the two to Anne Hathaway, in case that's not been mentioned.

MGAB's Missoury over at RH suggests she's inspired by Cailee Spaeny, can anyone else vouch for that?

Not sure if it's meant to be her, but the image attached to your post reminds me of Amy Winehouse.

The thumbnail of V3D Fiona reads as (yet another) Jennifer Lawrence, but I don't think that's who it's supposed to be.

At first I saw Hayden Panettiere, but I was convinced by others here that it is clearly Sabrina Carpenter.

Initially was gonna agree, but on further investigation I believe it is intentionally modeled after Sabrina Carpenter, with Hayden Panettiere similarity being a natural coincidence.

Don't forget - IRL some people actually look very much alike (didn't know until now that they are both the same height too.)
