Sangriart's new release, Margie for G9, is Natalie Dormer, who played Margaery Tyrell in "Game of Thrones". It's a very realistic character, although I almost feel that the earlier G3F version was closer to Dormer's distinctive features than this one.

Sangriart has also remodeled their G8 figure of Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen in "Game of Thrones"), and I think Dracarys for G9 is a better Clarke than the earlier version.

I would posit that Margie for G9 is a more youthful looking Natalie Dormer, in the face anyway. Her features overall and the textures are quite good. She's just got a softer, younger look. In GoT she was 30 - 34, so I'd judge this G9 to be 20ish. She played Victoria in Cassanova in 2005 so maybe around that?

With the name of "Queen of Roses" associated with the new figure, my guess is that it is related to her role of Anne Boleyn in "The Tudors", which came out in 2007. She was born in 1982, so would have been about 25 when that series aired.

It's excellent, by the way. And she made a great Anne Boleyn, against Jonathan Rhys Meyers playing Henry VIII

In "Game of Thrones", Margaery is a member of House Tyrell, whose symbol is a golden rose. And she does become a queen. So "Queen of Roses" is as apt for the fictional Margaery Tyrell as for the historical Anne Boleyn.

Yes, this is correct. George R R Martin based Game of Thrones on the historical War of the Roses (red rose vs white rose), and the early Tudor reign as well. Margaery Tyrell has many similarities to the historical Anne Boleyn.

Margaery at least got the dignity of being killed by her political rival instead of her no-good husband.

I am not crazy for thinking Lianna 9 somewhat resembles Ana De Armas... right? There is even a promo that looks somewhat like Blade Runner 2049... (apologies if this has already been brought up before)

Agreed on Chloe Grace Moretz for HID Abby; and Sangriart's Margie as Natalie Dormer / Margaery Tyrell. Both beautiful creations! ;)

I have to say, 'm loving these GoT characters, looking very realistic and pretty, I hope Sophie Turner / "Sensea" gets made, as well, for G9. She was one of my favorites on that show. ^^

You are certainly not crazy. Even bald is easy to see Ana. I saw that way after release(was out of dazland for some time) so investigated and it was mentioned but not so strongly so i figured it was the time were those similarities on core characters were kept 'hush hush'; even more recently with carter 9 lots of people were speaking mostly in code.

Definitely not crazy. A lot of Genesis 9 core figures are at the very least inspired by celebrities, although as in Lianna's case they may have vastly different body types from their real inspirations. I feel like some of the more recent ones like Cate 9 and Sigrid 9 lean more heavliy into the "clone" territory, with more accurate body types and heights, but most are at the very least 'inspired' by someone famous.

I just saw a recent photo of Olivia Wilde, on whom CJ 8 was based, and I didn't recognize her because of ozempic.

not the typical kind of celeb for this thread, though there's been a handful. Does anyone know of a character that gets close to Hannahowo? (originally popular on Tiktok, currently on hiatus)

Not so sure about CJ, do you have some particular choices in mind?

FN Shay HD for Genesis 9 looks a bit like Merrill Garbus from Tune Yards.

I looked around and discovered that she's had an interesting... alternate career. Quite pretty, so I can understand your interest. The suggestions given sound fairly solid overall, with Mousso being more likely - or possibly even Magic Brush. Though for a texture that matches I'd favor one from perhaps Chrryt or Magic Brush, or there's one on the Hub of Render: Amouretluxure that migh have the look you're seeking, perhaps even a close morph, though I'm not solid on that.

I was thinking Sofia at first, but looking  at the third promo puts me in mind of lacey chabert  when she did Not Another Teen Movie.

By the way, has Sangriart's Lucrezia for G9 ever been ID'd? I believe it's actress Holliday Grainger, who played Lucrezia Borgia in the tv series:
