I have a banner coupon to get $30 of Daz items for $2. The Shop Now button is a link to over 23,000 items. After sorting through and picking out 3 items, only one of them is eligible for the discount.
Puzzling that the link that they give me to use doesn't work for all of the items.
That's actually not uncommon these days, especially when it comes to outlet items, which aren't eligible for any discounts, and new releases, which are exempt from many offers, and yet both keep showing up in promotion selectiona.
Why does it read like you get ONE item free if you used the code by itself, when that's absolutely not how it works?
Because DAZ's grammar and general use of the English language is frequently mangled beyond recognition?
Well boo, no banner for me. Wonder what one had to do to get it.
We went from "one free item if you spend at least $9.09" to "one free item if you spend at least $26.44."

Come to think of it, I haven't seen one of those orange coupon banners in quite a while.
This is purely guesswork on my part, but it feels like the overall parameters of when a banner appears have changed in recent months, as I used to get them almost constantly and now they're only an occasional thing, and yet I'm farly sure that I spend more here than at least 95% of the customer base. Again, this is just a guess but I suspect this may be in part to how quickly tokens accrue in Premier, as getting one for every five dollars spent means that ones earn a full complement of 8 with a forty dollar cart, . If you look at how DAZ offers normally work, that steady input of tokens basically gives someone with strong buying habits a ready set of extra of discounts that has to be factored into every sales equation. In my own case,I've been runing at a constant surplus of tokens for months now, with my token stash frequently being in the triple digits. As a result, even when a promotion was set up with multiple sub-coupon orders, I would be able to run each offer as a separate invoice and just toss 8 tokens on top of each order for an extra 30 to 45% off everything on top of all the other discounts. As a result of that, during that last big sale, I was often picking up fairly recent and even new brand items at final accumulated discounts of 90% plus off after all the promotions plus tokens were added up, so, once again just using guesswork from my days woking in commission sales, I can see that there would be a lot less incentive to send out yet another discount in the form of a Orange or Purple banner to stack on top of everything else when I'm already purchasing regularly. In other words, when I'm already regularly buying, just how much does DAZ actually benefit by sending me yet another discount to stack on top of everything else when it comes with the net effect of everything that I'm buying ending up being significantly cheaper?
So they don't respect their fish? Sounds like a bad long term plan.
Although, this month I've bought things the fewest days because of days like today. There's no incentives today for the featured artists or for the "new releases". They are just flat discounts without bonuses.
You could be onto something. I've not had a banner in a while either, but I always seem to have tokens. I noted that those who reveived to banner seemed to be base members and wondered if that was the criteria, but so am I and I didn't get one. I expect most base members don't have many tokens, if they are any at all.
I've not had anny banners in a long time, either, and I'm the opposite of a big spender. Rarely have tokens, when I do it's not many, and they usually expire (most of what I get is Outlet or QG). Daz+ member.
I haven't held a great amount of tokens in ages and ages (months) and am a Daz+ member. I think it might just be early new year and during 'the new year event' discounts were chucked at us (and may be again come March), so few offers around at the moment.
That put, I'd add that the website - and email system - could get access to your current number of tokens when sending promotional-email or displaying banners, indeed your whole purchase history too.
...same here and only an occasional D+ subscriber ("member" doesn't sound right anymore). Currently at "basic" again given how lacklustre last month was and this month promises to be, So the chance to even get a single token (or two Monday & Teusday) is less of a reality meaning I have to even be frugal with the ones I get/have.
...and bugger, two really nice Stonemason sets along with another by Sugatak released today so on the wishlist they go for now.

Once upon a time I bought mega bundles and yeah . . . skimpware is a given so have more than I will ever use. Spent an all time low of $20 dollars in January. I am just going to wait and maybe accumulate some tokens if a working sale prevails and then use those tokens to buy full price goota haves and be no worse off. Why buy 30% now? Those decent gotta haves are few and far between . . . so scattered . . . later at full price with tokens I fare as good or better. Too much sigh . . . not again . . sleezeware, not enough 'wow' this rocks. Too much RR.
This year, I have bought (besides biweekly & Daz+ freebies): Daz+ sub at end of January*, my first sub since my Premier ended in November; the Coral 8.1 bundle that was in Outlet or QG; & the Sylvia 9 Dryad (with $6 coupon & $5 store credit). I also currently have 1 token, my since my Premier ended.
So, the latest Daz banners also aren't being used to entice people who haven't bought much or been accumulating tokens.
*Why did I buy it now? To get more QG/Outlet goodies of course. It sure wasn't that February & Valentine's = even more skimp- & kinkwear than usual, & possibly a dominatrix, vampire, or vampire-dominatrix core figure/bundle for me to skip.
I still believe we shouldn't need to think too hard in order to get the good prices.
In my own life, I avoid anything that requires too much needless effort.
And, again, I ask this question:
If we have 50% off an item selection, and see an item listed as 65%, do we lose part of that 65% duscount?
That is the 50% discount already being applied. You aren't "losing" anythng. You're seeing 65% because you are a Daz+ member (and Daz+ member get 30% off Daz Originals)
It's a Daz Originals: on top of the %50 discount applied on all items from that selection, as a Daz+ member, you'll get an extra 30% discount.
I won't bore you with the maths (I can explain them if you wish) but an extra 30% discount applied on an item with a 50% discount means that item will have a 65% discount (before other discounts like tokens, coupons, and so on).
So to answer your question, you'll have a 65% discount on Lucas 9 HD Add-On Bundle. You can also use the MORPH-ME coupon to get a better discount (you should get something around 75% I think, with the Morph-me coupon).
Just a warning in case you missed it, but it's an Add-on Bundle for Lucas 9: if you don't have Lucas 9, 'Lucas 9 Portly HD Shape Add-On' will not give you the intended shape and you won't have access to Lucas 9 textures which are only provided by Lucas 9. The four other items will work without Lucas 9 though.

...hmm, no D+ newsletter this morning. Looked at the store and both new D+ items are there but are for G9 only. whne F+ items are released Usually it's a choice of a character based item and a prop, small architectural set, vehicle etc.
