The current 30% wishlist sale (applies to recent new releases, if you had them wishlisted) appears to be the sale I was waiting for.
I think this is a pretty good WL sale as well. I used a new DAZ+ item to qualify as the new release, and the coupon stacked with items on my WL that were already on sale. A nice, unexpected surprise to start the weekend.
I do like new release sales, particularly when there are so many lovely environments released in the past few days. I remember a similar sale around a year ago too (that one was an orange banner), and I've wished for more since. With a rather large library now, I'd rather buy more new releases in smaller carts than the usual alternative of adding the cheapest new release that triggers large discounts and then clawing the spend back by packing the cart, which is getting very difficult to do now. But that's what Daz encourages when the new release prices are so high and you can simply wait a few months for a better price.
....ah silly me,
Forgot I cancelled my sub for this month as January was pretty lacklustre and this month will likely be all about Valentines Day.
I've got an orange banner now. It's a coupon for 1/2 off of OS, one use. Does anyone know if it stacks with subscription 1/2 off? 'Cause that would be pretty amazing.
I got it too and I can confirm that it does stack with the Daz+/Premier discount:
Thank you @Elor!
The orange banner works quite well. Congrats to Daz.
Well, that 50% on 50% of Outlet items was nice but costly, with an average discount of around 96%...
Now that Giftcard sale could come in handy again...
I grabbed 2 outlet things with the banner code
have already picked through it the other day and bought stuff so wasn't much left I wanted
pity I didn't wait
I had QG items in the cart since Monday as I was wondering if I'd build a bigger cart later in the week. So far, no luck, but it means I can make use of the coupon from the banner and catch up on the few OS items as well.
I love when they do it, because it does get me to spend, and my spending has been culled significantly in recent weeks because Daz's approach to AI generation issue shattered my trust in the site. OS items are all older, so I can buy them without concerns.
No expiration shown. Best guess, it will last through today, no guarantees.
@joanna none of the 3d stores I visit has what I would consider a satisfactory approach to generative ai used in products or promotion. It's all voluntary disclosure.
I had not bought a lot lately, but yesterday fixed that.
Because I buy so much stuff, there's not much left in the QG/Outlet that I -need- but ... that half off is tempting ...
I know none of them has it, and other stores have other issues as well. That's why I was shopping here.
I'm not rage-quitting. I still make purchases when I need something or the offer is really good (like today's OS/QG offer), but since I can't trust Daz, there's no discussion allowed here to point out problematic products, and I don't feel like doing lengthy investigations just to spend money, any PA that has products I have doubts about immediately goes off my wishlist. It's probably not fair for them, because, as I said, I don't have time to look more closely, and I can't ask here. And it makes both PA and Daz potentially lose sales. But it is what it is. I see no other way.
This banner sale has worked out really well for me. I found a variety of things I could use. The banner coupon made a great feature even greater.
@joanna I understand and agree! And that's probably all we can say here.
Oh I got a banner today!
Well. There were a bunch of Outlet items at the second-tier ($2 w/ membership) that I was trying to talk myself out of, as it seems like if you wait about 5 months things might show up at the lowest tier in QG, and I didn't need them immediately....
Problem solved.
I do wish I hadn't gone "oh hey I actually have enough QGs to get up to $10" this week and checked out on Tuesday to get a couple tokens that are likely to expire anyway... but ah well. At least I left the ones that were beyond that, and maybe I'll get lucky with the tokens.
Got the banner. Probably gonna spend some of my monthly "entertainment/toy money" on it, as at this price DAZ in USD is competitive vs EUR prices.
I'm so happy I got some PC parts before autumn ( videocard (12GB) + ram (32GB) + SSD (2TB)). I just have to get a new 2nd monitor, and I am ready to render for 3-4 years on my current build. I'm not gonna build a new PC soon
, so older (2-3+ years) 3D products are looking good.
40+ items in the cart, gonna throw some more in it, then throw half of it out, as I already have something similar
I couldn't buy everything I wanted but got a bunch of Outlet & QG things I've had wishlisted. And the flash sale was great. I picked up https://www.daz3d.com/daz-horse-3-reindeer-add-on-bundle & https://www.daz3d.com/orcs-9-hd-add-on-bundle for < $2 total with my 1 lonely token, my $6 Daz+ coupon & Already Owned discounts. Some of you may recall my efforts to get the whole Reindeer bundle via the Advent Calendar, which may have been foiled due to the infamous 12/31 Advent Glitch (but we'll never know). So I was very pleased. I think I got 1 or 2 of the Orc bundle components during the holiday sale as well. I felt like it was December all over again with those 2 carts. Amazing how good a deal can be when discounts stack, coupons work, & there isn't a floor price.
Yay!! You got your missing reindeer bits!!
I joined the party and got a bunch of stuff, including items that have been on my WL forever and some bundles that entertain me. So, it's good! Thanks, Daz!
...well more confusing details this time on the Artist Goodies category as there is not description on how to get the 1$ price. Simply putting two items in the cart doesn't do it, there is no coupon code, and nothing about needing a new release to unlock the discount.
Are they using AI to write this stuff?
I wasn't sure either, so I rushed a cart before Daz Midnight. Got some goodies and I'm happy with them, but I would have spent more time sifting through pages if I'd known for sure I had another day.
The line breaks make reading the sentence in one go a bit more complicated than it should be (but they have to take into account smartphones and tablets), but it's not that difficult to understand what you're supposed to do:
...still looks like it's active as I checked my messages and the offer still appears ther even though I used the code on Saturday.
The banner also appears when you go to the top of the page.
