That is pretty odd. I think my previous Premier ended a day early. I wasn't too annoyed since I had already cancelled because I was holding off on a renewal and there wasn't anything I wanted on sale.
uh... i think i didn't express myself properly.. i thought a flea market but not as an environment to create a flea market scene - but a "real" flea market to get rid of a huge bunch of ffreebies i'll never have any use for XDDD.. it was a joke.
and meanwhile, our prayers for a gallery to display our vases haven't been heard yet.. but now we have a TRAY to put the vases/pot on. there is justice in this world. /s
Seeing as the subscription ends in the evening US time, I'm guessing it goes by UTC. So while it was still 16th in the US, it was already the 17th of the UTC time. Somewhat annoying and confusing, seeing as everything else in Daz seems to be running on Utah time. But maybe it's a limitation of their subscription service or payment processor.
IIRC payment for renewal is typically done a day or so before renewal date to be sure it is processed before the current month/year expires and you don't get a gap in your membership.
This is why one must go to the trouble of actually cancelling the subscription at least a week before the end date. The sub runs 'til expiration.
saving all my money today. It will probably be another rehash this weekend. Hopefully something wakes up Monday. BTW, I am getting really tired of the brothel and skimpwear. DAZ has gone from buttoned down to lewd and obnoxious. The doorbusters haven't been very appealing, at least for me.
What does the 20% off memberships in the orange banner mean? 20% in addition to the 25% off on the home page? Monthly and annual? How and when is the extra 20% discount applied?
i didnt get any discount from monthly premier when they rened me yesterday, but I dont have any banner or messages about it either
...hmm so I've been noticing (and I'm sure other have as well) that today's Doorbusters become tomorrow's Debut releases and the next day's "Still New" ones the following day at a lower discount (provided one is accumulating Stackers). So basically there is nothing really "new" as they jsut get passed down to the next tier.
This leads me to wonder why purchase anything from those categories if they've been passed over when they were Doorbusters. Not a very good incentive particularly as having a Doorbuster in the cart gives the best discount on Featured Artist items. Of course that is dependent on the Doorbuster selection each day.

I've felt the same way. I glance at the doorbusters, see that I'm not interested, and don't botther to look at the rest. I gather the freebie stacker and leave the store most days. It has been a sad sale. I might be missing things, but if the doorbusters aren't interesting, there doesn't seem to be anything else enticing. Maybe we are just disapointed after the last sale that had some really good offers.
Yes, since everything is tied to the doorbusters, once you look at them and go "meh," you're done for the day. In comparison to the last month... the only shopping I did related to the sale is picking up 3 (I think) Better than Daz+ items. Other than that, I bought some Quick Grab stuff. And vases! I have now a vases collection!
Resolved the 20% membership from the orange banner. When one orders a monthly subscription of Daz+ or Premiere, it's 20% off. Annual subs are already 25% off and no further discount applies.

Well, my problems with this sale:
80% + 20% + 30% tokens -> 89% discount
That is OK but far away from special and not good enough for the very old stuff.
Even bigger problem. Items take much more time to reach that status. Half of my wishlist won't apply any discount although those items are released some months ago.
Doorbusters 80% (with all stackers, tokens etc.) are nice though.
If you're curious, "extra 20% off your entire order with 5 or more Outlet or Quick Grab items" does not include those O/QG items, 'entire' notwithstanding.
I suppose that's to be expected, although the O/QG fine print does say "unless otherwise specified..."
What I don't get: why are we not seeing any really good discounts on DOs? It's the DAZ member sale, so the focus should be on them I feel. It used to be like that at least, with the DAZ+ sale. Instead, the pattern is exactly the same as in the PA sale, with featured artists and such. Only the PA sale was better. So what's the point of having this extra sale anymore? Yeah, I really don't get it.
+1 to this. I spent quite a bit in the PA sale. Only Outlet and Quick Grab so far this month. Not that I'm complaining much - I love Outlet and Quick Grab

...I only picked up one Door Buster (dForce Ancient Egyptian Traditional Outfit for Genesis 9) so far along with the RSSY Clothing Converter from Genesis 9 to Genesis 8 from the Featured Artists sale for a total of 13 USD. That was convenient as I now can purchase G9 clothing
(don't let my bank card know that) .
Every other purchase has been from the Outlet, Quick Grab, and occasionallym Better than D+ category.

Product names like Qiunr, Wsoug, Quda, Lrene, Huqn, Eenq, Qebg, Eqnn, Qeb, Rrhue, Wnneq, Qineq, Qxs, HAJCC, KSADF, HJSD, KIUY, HSUY, UIKJ, EHJC, YTDG, YOBN, KNDE, Hncm, FGOP, Jonf, Konsx, GFXC, Hincz, HIOM, Khsa, SJDC, Akld, JDNC, Uksn, KISD, Thxn, TYCV, YUDX, to name a few dozen, make no sense to me. Many of the rest have something that looks like it could be pronounceable, but...

That's exactly why I've almost exclusively picked up Outlet and Quick Grab items in this sale so far. I wonder what Daz is up to with this questionable selection. In any case, I have no desire to continuously render the “Employee of the Month” from the local brothel.
I've decided to grab a month of premier with the 20% off from my orange banner. I get 3 character bundles over the course of the 30 days - That's already good for the $$. Then add everything else - It's favorable. By the time that's done, we'll be in Holiday Sales.
And all that makes me glad the extra coupons have stayed on the sale page for a very long time. Looks like I get to use them!
As others have mentioned, these "doorbusters" aren't really doing it for me. Too bad; but OS and QG await.
Same here. I was building a cart, but I realized, that while there are things I'd buy, I don't want to buy them for the price of the buy-in (doorbuster I'm not interested in and some OS/QG items which I'm only moderately interested in). Three of my tokens expire tonight (and more later in the week), and I'll let them go, because the doorbusters are so much meh.
I just spent a while picking out 5 items, only to realise this, there's nothing I want spefically that would benefit from being added to my order with 20% off, now i'm not even likely to buy 5 items from the outlet or quick grab haha.
So not sure thats a win for Daz
