Oh gawds, and it keeps continuing in the same unenticing way ... I swear I've never ever been as quick with my routine DAZ store morning round as these days. Hop in - no good stuff in new, or maybe one if I'm lucky - everything else still the same - nothing newer in my WL on sale - check-out - done. Five minutes, tops. Is this really the reaction they're going for? If so - why???

What are we buying with our 50% coupon today?

Today? Do you mean "Saturday, the 25th October" with today? 'Cause I ain't got no "50% off" coupon today. IIRC there was one yesterday - Friday, 25th - but nothing in my wishlist or anything else that I would have been interested in was reduced enough to motivate me to buy it. So I only grabbed those free stuff that was offered and closed the shop page. Kinda like most of the time during this sale, except for a couple Quick Grab items I bought.

No, it was posted on Friday, the 24th (at least for those of us closer to Daz time zones), so I assume it refers to Friday as "today."

I used the 50% off coupon on the festival bundle with 6 tokens. I added the better than daz+ hair to be just over $5 for both the hair and the festival bundle combined.

You’re definitely not alone in feeling that way, as many others have said the same. Personally, over the past year and a half, I just open the email, glance at the products, and feel like I’ve already seen them all the week before, specially characters and clothes.
I keep trying to hype myself up for Thursday drops, mainly when the DO character isn't a young, skinny white girl for once.

I'm trying to figure out what items qualify for the stacker discount and not having any luck.

Only the following items will get a discount linked to how many stackers you have:

    https://www.daz3d.com/2025-membership-festival#doorbusters (up to 70% with 26+ stackers)

    https://www.daz3d.com/2025-membership-festival#debut_new ;(up to 55% with 26+ stackers)

    https://www.daz3d.com/2025-membership-festival#still_new (up to 50% with 26+ stackers)

Same here. It's telling the Better Than promos have been the best part of the sale for me, when I have bought only 3 of them (the 2 Polaris & yesterday's hair plus earrings). Otherwise, I've paid for only 4 other items, including one Quick Grab.

And it's worth noting that those discounts are already applied in the cart, so it's not "up to X% extra," but the X% that is advertised (it might get discounted with tokens lower, but it's not on top of the 50% you see on the sales page).

Not a single one of the Better Than offerings has been tempting; they're great items from an objective standpoint, just nothing I need/want.

And I took a considered look at the QG items I'd earmarked on Monday... most of them are just hitting the WL in case I need to find them later.

As I've mentioned before, it's not like I mind, per se... it just seems weird to have a big 25th anniversary sale so underwhelming compared to the excitement of the PA sale.  My reaction every day is pretty much "Huh... well, okie dokie then" (closes browser).

Figures. There hasn't been anything interesting enough to purchase the last ten or so days. Last month was expensive, so at least I'm saving money this month.

...yeah, this was the sale I would usually be excited about as it was geared towards Platinum Club/Daz+ members.  Not this year. Yes there have been the "Better Than D+" items but not if G9 isn't your "cup of tea".(and I'm not the only one here).

No "regular" D+ products as Debut/New Releases" which in the past qualified for unlocking additional discounts just( during this event).   Again no D+ for a day, no BYOB, and the Anniversary (now "Festival") Bundles are just not inspiring at all..

This always used to be a great event for those of us on more limited budgets, but not anymore.

The "festival" bundles - I already own everything in them that I thought interesting or useable and had no interest in any of the other items.

It'll be interesting to see if they turn the sale around and end with a high note - or just wander on to end with a thud.

...well the new banner is up and they're saying "last chance", but we know how that often goes,

The month isn't over until Friday..

The last chance part seems to be related to the 'Everyday's a member' offer.

Mine too. I really spent nearly $ 4.- today for Space Elsa's Freight Elevator and a Zeddicus Pose set. If Space Elsa's Living Quarters would have been reduced to $ 1.99 again, too, I would have also bought it, but so it waits in my wishlist for another sale.

Same here. 6 tokens and a Daz+ coupon with a door buster I would actually use made it a nice, small cart for a very agreeable price, and I picked up a few things from the featured artists I'll definitely use.

Alas, the "bundlicious" festival bundles were not, IMO. At best, there 1-2 items per bundle I was interested in & so cheaper to just buy them. Plus anniversary bundles used to be free, so worth picking up even if you only wanted 1thing.

I wish Daz had done something cool for regular Daz+ members who collected all 21 stackers to reach the full 26-stacker discount today (the supposed last day).

An actual catch-up sale in which all items returned to either Doorbuster or Debut New discounts could have been a nice opportunity to actually put the full stacker discount to use (since it only provides a greater discount to those categories).

Or a banner or coupon based on the number of stackers collected? Anything to make the day potentially interesting, really - as it stands, I'm not seeing compelling pricing on anything today.

I don't think it's the last day of the Member Festival or the stackers. I think it's just the last day of weekend catchup-whatever-special-not-so-special.

Whelp, spent about $5 on QGs. I am partying hard this Member Festival, yes I am!

Sad that I'm more interested in the new QG batch tomorrow than whatever the actual sale might be, but there we have it.

  • kyoto kidkyoto kid Posts: 41,843

...yeah, actually found a few wishlist items on QG the last couple weeks .

most of my purchases this month have been there and at the Outlet Store.

Only purchased two Doorbusters that I found interesting or useful so far.

Will there be (do you think, or can anyone with DAZ insider knowledge comment) a way to grab the Gifts that we missed at the end of the Festival?  I've missed some of the base items due to timing, and I'd like to get them all.  I'm not as worried about the discount, so even being able to receive them after the discount goes away (maybe as a bundle offered for free, or even a small price point) would be excellent.

I know they're just basic decor items, but I like them!

    Pretty please, DAZ?

I'm not sure anyone will say officially, but I seem to remember there being a catch-up thing at the end of December for the PA gifts anyone had missed. Based on that, I would say it's a possibility.

I would actually like the option to remove all the stacker freebies from my product library when this is all done. Maybe we can arrange something where Daz will transfer my freebies to you? I really have no use for any of them. (And yes, I know this is not possible due to the licensing issues, I'm just saying this in jest. But I really do hate having stuff in my library that I will never use.)

Can't you just uninstall and then 'hide' them in DIM?

And for what it is worth, I am enjoying them. They are on par with some of the apartment/home items I have already. Many times, like the vases, they are better.

I would actually like if there was a way to put them on into one (or a few) product in Daz, so that they aren't displayed at separate products, taking up space. Just like I disliked the outfits sold in parts, I'm not fond of having some 30 "member festival" products clogging my smart content.
