Yup, it was Richard they were after.

    Excellent :)

What did you use for the dust trail, either around the horse legs or the one left by Richard ?

@Elor I used the Trail VDB from Mega Terrain Sand Dunes

Great. Will be nice to have some more masks for the faces, if possible.

The faces as they are, looks a bit strange to me.

There are a few ear morphs it will randomize with if aliens randoms are enabled ( and make sure you have latest Crowd Generator  version 1.3.0.1)

Thanks. I think, it looks ok with some covering of the ears.

How to check the version of Crowd Generator?

It's shown in the top right corner of the Crowd Generator. The update was live on June 06

    Thanks, @Totte

I think LowPi help a lot to fill spaces with nice characters - just need to experiment more.

I just started playing around with Low Pi and came here to see what was new/different. I see @barbult is her usual creative self pushing the boundaries. Good to see all the ideas!

I had two updates in DIM last night: LowPi Crowd Generator Plus Extension and Crowd Generation for FF LowPi Lowpoly Figure. They downloaded but failed to install and wiped out what had previously been installed so it's now unusable.  The online Readme shows: 2025-08-26 added Y align support. Just letting you know something might be wrong with the download package.

    FF or LM?

The updates appear to have left files, at least, for me.

    LM

I have a small but important update sent to my tester for the very weird and very hard to find issue introduced in 1.3.1.0 regarding instances not getting PopPlus positioned corectly.
Hopefully it gets an OK and I can submit the update to Daz tomorrow.

    Sorry for the inconvenience

Was finally able to download and install the 8/26 updates. Just kept trying every week until it worked today.

What is the easiest way to create a line with LowPi people between 2 points?

Do not understand why the script needs at least 3 markers.

Just put the three path markers in a straight line, I guess. The script looks for Start, Middle, and End path markers.  Maybe the logic can't handle a missing middle marker. I've never tried just two markers, so this is a guess. (Or if I did try just two, I've forgotten.)

    Thanks, @barbult

Script complains if there are only 2 markers and cannot continue.

I think the markers are for area, so that is why there needs to be minimum 3 markers.

I thought you were talking about path markers, not border or area markers.
  • TotteTotte Posts: 14,677

Without Path Tool, use the direction markers and then Masking Markers to mask off the area yopu do not want LowPis at. This is the reason (one of many) I did the Path Tool Extension, to easy make lines....

  • ArtiniArtini Posts: 10,285

I have all extensions to LowPI, but still could not figure out, how to set up area needed for path tool.

I just want a simple one line of characters, nothing fancy, so how to set up this.

You only need to place 2 LP Path Markers, I'll show you.

First - Just place two LP Path Markers, you only need those, nothing else. One set to Start, the other to End (under Misc - >Path Marker Type
Simplest way is to place one, set it to Start, Duplicate and then move to copy forward and set it to End. (To avoid the Start Markler not finding the End Marker along its direction.

Now use an Area Setup and attach that to the Path, and set Path properties

Now click Generate and you got a line. To make the line wider or more narrow, change the Path Width for the Marker from which you want the Path to be narrow (in this case the first one set to Start.

You have to create (save) an area setup before you will be able to select it here. It is not intuitive. There is a manual about how to do this stuff. Have you seen it?
