Thanks Teobaldo
Thank you Teobaldo.
Triple stacked self made terrain with materials from High Resolution Terrains 4 and Vegetation. In the back three terrains from High Resolution Terrains 2 with a material from the same set. The lake is the ground plane with my material. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI from Gritstone Hills and the key light by the sun.
Awesome realistic landscape, Horo
Thank you mermaid.
An object, a freebie, I found in my library, with full reflective material and some diffusion and ambience, and a simple sky from the Stylised Rendering. The second was lit by an Hdri from Exotic Hdri for Fantasy Skies (available at Bryce-tutorials)
mermaid - very nicely done scenes with the object, I'm not sure but I think it is from Agent Smith. Though both are very nice, the second is my favorite.
A big torus and two smaller ones within the big one with simple materials, transparency and reflection. The camera with the GWL (gigantic wide angle fisheye lens) from Lenses and Filters in front of it is inside the big torus. Light and colour by an HDRI from Hyper Textures Base. No other light source. Hours to create, 2 minutes to render.
Thanks Horo, the object maybe from Agent Smith, I'm not sure where I got it from. Your abstract is awesome, I love using the Hyper Texture Base HDRIs, the results are amazing.
Thank you mermaid.
Thanks Mermaid010, Horo, Bunyip02, Teobaldo.
Great landscapes and very nice abstract, Horo.
Love your object/abstract render, Mermaid010. I like the green one best.
Thank you Hansmar.
Thank you Hansmar
Hello, Rashad! Glad to see you here. And I agree that everyone is "brycing" wonderfully.
Please check my message I've sent you earlier (in April) - project is still being worked on (though I now wonder how it should be called considering that 30th anniversary already happened the previous year), and we would be happy if you could participate as well.
Cheers!
The terrain was self made and given a material from Gritstone Hills. The water is a combination of a self made terrain and the ground plane, both with my own material. The sun, sky colour and ambient light by an HDRI from HDRI for Fun. The clouds are from Object Clouds 2D & 3D. Only a tiny bit of light by the sun.
Wow beautifully done Horo, the atmosphere is awesome
Thank you mermaid.
The objects were made with Incendia NEXT, exported to Geometrica, then cleaned up in MeshLab and smoothed in Bryce and given a self made material. They stand on a Fading Disk and are together with the camera within a reflecting cube. Light by the Strip_lights1a HDRI from HDRI for Fun.
The same scene with the ALS (Anaglyph Lens System) in front of the camera.
Wow Horo fantastic result, the anaglyph is awesome
Thank you mermaid.
I read about the Red (Blood) Moon on the 7th or 8th September; my version of the Red Moon. The sky is from the presets, the galaxy and nebula from Space Construction Kit.
mermaid - good idea and very nicely done, I hope I can compare it with the real Blood Moon
Thanks Horo, I hope to see it too, but living in the concrete jungle sometimes it hard to see any eclipse.
The terrain was self made and given a material combined from Gritstone Hills and High Resolution Terrains 2. Clouds and sky by the CloudSphere11 from the SkyToolbox Expansion Kit and the ambient light by the belonging SkySC11 HDRI. The key light by the sun. Stone rubble in the valley from an earlier rockslide.
A beautiful, realstic landscape Horo.
Thank you mermaid.
The terrain was self made. Trees and bushes are partly from Vegetation and partly self made. The clouds are by the Cloudplane14_additive from the Sky Toolbox Expansion 1. The water is the ground plane with my own material. Everything within a Fading Mirror Box. The WhiteSphereB7 HDRI for the ambient light and the key light by the sun. Plants at the shore of a creek in the late afternoon.
NGartplay - Nice to see you. There are times I don't spend much time in Bryce or 3D due to time restraints, getting old (lol), computer issues and other logistical constraints. I also am working on a larger scope project so that cuts into time.
Mermaid - nice abstracts, I am enjoying these. Love love the blood moon-that looks very realistic.
Horo - you may have mentioned it but how does one get this lens for the Bryce Camera? Is there a Bryce item in the store that contains it? Also, I wonder if folks get the small artifacts in their renders whenever you zoom in and a way to avoid this; maybe there is a tutorial on lighting somewhere. I like your abstract and the Martian colony sci-fi, the mountains are awesome
Really Superb results everyone! I have been playing with lighting a lot and love looking at the way folks use lighting and skies in their renders.
Here is one I created to play around with trees, leaves on trees, texturing ground planes and lighting--but also trying to get some ideas for a storyboard--Bryce comes in handy for that.
PixelPie - thank you. There are some lenses and filters that can be put in front of the camera: https://www.daz3d.com/bryce-7-1-pro-lenses-and-filters
Very nicely done landscape with the two colour leaves on the trees.
PixelPie: Very nice and moody image
Horo: The image with the trees is very nicely done (as usual ;-) I also like your previous image with the mountains very much. As mermaid010 mentioned they look quite realistic. I wonder how you achieved this realistic look.
Mermaid010: Ah, that's a beautiful picture of the Blood Moon. I wanted to photograph it, but it was hidden behind the trees. As I could see it finally, the red effect was gone of course. :-)
There are five terrains in my image. Materials is Snow and Ice 3 from the Grand Mountains Library. Light comes by the Bryce Sun and Sky Preset 9 of the Grand Mountains Library.
Electro-Elvis - thank you. Very nicely done snowy mountainscape.
Horo - fantastic River bank scene, the plants are awesome
PixelPie - thanks, very nice scene with the trees and background mountains.
Electro-Elvis - thanks, awesome snowy mountain scene
